Van Damme actually played himself in JCVD, and it was pretty amazing. Agree that his other stuff is garbage, but I think it's more that he picks stereotypical B-movie roles because that's what pays the bills.

I saw him in a 2001 movie “Replicant” where he plays a dual role: a serial killer vs. his genetic clone, made to capture him. Jean-Claude Van Damme fights Jean-Claude Van Damme onscreen. It was actually kinda good, I liked it
She was actually better than Rosie O'Donnell in that movie. Rosie was atrocious and basically just played herself. It didn't help her that almost everyone else in the movie were great actors.

No, she's legitimately bad. My niece loves the movie "Honey", and it was torture to get to her cringe acting and delivery. I'm glad she found so much success in the business world, because her acting is awful.

Plus, The Rock and even John Cena proved that wrestlers can act. And Shaq did have a couple of good performances in both Blue Chips and Uncle Drew, so athletes, musicians and people of other professions are very capable of good acting.
Hulk Hogan once claimed that Darren Aronofsky offered him the lead role in The Wrestler and he turned it down three times. Of course it's another one of the Hulkster's many many lies.

He claimed that because of the time zone difference he gained an extra day. However he failed to see the problem with that. Obviously when he flew back from Japan he would lose that extra day. @Woozlewuzzleable no a lot of the roles she's taken since the end of the twighlight series, has proven she does actually have some range. You probably just haven't seen many them, or just have a bias against her due to her older roles. It's hard not to be harsh on her later works, when you're used to her previous one note roles

His fake autobiographical film, JCVD, had him actually doing some really fantastic work. He had a series recently, Jean Claude Van Johnson, which played off his celebrity, but was very funny and tongue in cheek, and had him doing a fantastic job.
I wonder if he could have been a better actor had he not acted in movies alongside his father, which could have prevented his creativity. Imagine having to do an acting scene where you are in a raging fit argument with your actual spouse. It would be very awkward.
Him and Shyamalam more or less do an extended version of the Hitchcock cameo (and so does Stephen King), which can have a certain charm if not overdone. As they tend to overdo everything they do, alas...

She’s had quite a few roles she’s played convincingly where’s been quite different in each of them like Jennifer’s Body, Passion Play, New Girl, Till Death so that’s not true. She only gets flack cause of her role in Transformers where she was just made to be eye candy and even in that she was solid.
I loved Tarantino's cameo in Pulp Fiction. I thought QT sold the character perfectly - his initial outrage, then his fretting and snarkiness, and the pleasure he shows in seeing Winston Wolfe humiliate Jules and Vincent.
Rob Schneider definitely doesn't belong on this list. In fact, he's the funniest actor amongst all of Adam Sandler's friends. Some of his movies such as 'The Animal', ' The Hot Chick' etc. are absolute classics!

It’s crazy the disrespect Megan Fox gets for her acting. She’s had several roles that are very different and played them convincingly. If she wasn’t in Transformers no one would even hint at that.
I wouldn’t count Shaq, Kim and Hulk Hogan because they were more brought in for their fame and celebrity, and not to really be actors. Take Jaden out too, most child actors arent that good. Instead I would replace them with Jessie Eisenberg, Zac Efron, Kristen Stewart and Jeff Goldblum.

Well, I wouldn't call comedians, models, Kim Kardashian, athletes and directors giving them bit parts in their own movies "actors".

Not her fault. The original actress had to bow out and Sofia was forced into the part. She's done very well for herself as a director.

Shatter is a legitimately good actor. Ever since he was young. I’ve seen a lot of his early TV work, and his performers were consistently above average. He even received an award in the late 50’s for one of his performances on Broadway.

She’s had quite a few roles she’s played convincingly where’s been quite different in each of them like Jennifer’s Body, Passion Play, New Girl, Till Death so that’s not true. She only gets flack cause of her role in Transformers where she was just made to be eye candy and even in that she was solid.

I loved Tarantino's cameo in Pulp Fiction. I thought QT sold the character perfectly - his initial outrage, then his fretting and snarkiness, and the pleasure he shows in seeing Winston Wolfe humiliate Jules and Vincent.
Van Damme held his own, he has lots of good movies
Rob Schneider definitely doesn't belong on this list. In fact, he's the funniest actor amongst all of Adam Sandler's friends. Some of his movies such as 'The Animal', ' The Hot Chick' etc. are absolute classics!

I feel a little bad for Jaden Smith. His parents have kind of pushed and brainwashed him into thinking he could be an actor and he's no good at it.

I think the main reason for that is because those movies are supposed to be cheesy and unrealistic so it works out for both actor and director

Yea, it's sad how everything is under a political microscope nowadays.
I love Dane Cook and enjoyed his movies, especially My Best Friends Girl. But I can see why people didnt connect with him as a leading man. None of his roles ever really clicked.
I liked him, but he was better at being a random side character like the one in Waiting where he was one of the cooks that had a small role.

Elizabeth Berkeley should be number one. She made one movie and it was so bad, it destroyed her career. It was "Showgirls".
When you think about it, she's not a bad actress...the script was so damn bad Meryl Streep would have tanked in it too.
I wouldn’t count Shaq, Kim and Hulk Hogan because they were more brought in for their fame and celebrity, and not to really be actors. Take Jaden out too, most child actors arent that good.
Instead I would replace them with Jessie Eisenberg, Zac Efron, Kristen Stewart and Jeff Goldblum.
