    I have Cerebral Palsy in my hands because of my Spina Bifida and these are the first peelers I've had an easy time using. I just got done peeling carrots and potatoes for a crockpot soup and was about as quick as my dad would have been doing the job. I'd say they work but I have only peeled with them so far but they work well for that. I'm happy with my $3.00 purchase.

      @@2centchick I always skipped that task before when helping with a meal because a regular peeler was always awkward.

    I have had a few requests for these, but could never tell if I was looking at a knockoff or the original. Regardless, it seems like they worked surprisingly well.

      I’m pretty sure Polyzand, an Australian design, is the original for the one peeler. I’m not sure about the other.

    i don't usually do this... don't know why i did, but i purchased these for 11 dollars and then with shipping it was quite a bit more. i really wish i had checked amazon first and learned my lesson. so glad these work as advertised after spending too much money on them. definitely worth the amazon price. i use potatoes a lot in my cooking and i adore cabbage salads! thanks so much!

    Just FYI, the original guy is an Aussie guy (dark tone skin) and wares a very large face watch. Met him personally. This product is an Australian patented product. He demo will include shredding a big pumpkin into noodle like strips. He's a pro in the product and so uses the tools with ease and speed too. Actually his oral explanation is just as fast. I these work for you, glad for you ladies.

    I’d be really careful with them, the reason these work so well is that they’re razor sharp,any slight cut is going to be 10x worse than with a normal peeler. Great video though 🌻

    I've seen the video on Facebook with the man demonstrating these and quite stupid I went and purchased them, they have literally just come today I have not tried them yet, I could kick myself because I've now seen them on eBay brand new for like £2 and I brought these for £14 so angry at myself😣 the same kind of packaging as yours, just stuck on a piece of red card with very flimsy description on the back, they call him them the "Powerlance Peeler and Slicer" with the new double edge serrated blade especially helpful for those with arthritis, I only have one good working hand so I'm hoping they work for me😦 watching your video they did work but at the same time you were struggling and now that would that's worrying me, things are never what they seem are they.

    • @SuzyQUK
      @SuzyQUK 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you watch the original video the 3 colours are for three different functions. Black is the peeler, blue is the mandolin/slicer and red is for julienne. That's why they are struggling - they are not using them correctly.

But I thought it funny that yours are identical to mine, except my black one is your red one, my blue one is your black one and my red one is your blue one lol. My order came in yesterday. I tried to make zucchini noodles and I don't like them. At the start, it cuts quite well, but when you get to half way, you don't know where to hold the zucchini and I had a lot of left over parts that weren't made into noodles. Unless you save the end pieces and use them for something else, it's such a waste. Demonstrations I saw, this video and a few others, showed only the beginning of the cut and I had no idea it would be impossible to cut the (almost) entire zucchini . I regret buying them.

    WOW!!! those are nice, but they sure make the mess, are you ok Cathy? lol people asked how long they stay sharp? my guess would be it depends on what kind of steel it is, i bought just a regular peeler that kinda looks like those 18 years ago for 99 cents at walmart, and i am still using it today almost daily and its still pretty sharp it has to be to peel sweet potatoes. loved Robyns amazement looks while you were doing this video. great job cant wait till you next one, its always a highlight to my day. :)

    Ordered this set from a website. Paid a total of $20 which included $5.99 for shipping. Took forever to get here. Shipped in an envelope with no protection so the cheap blades on 2 arrived damaged! Don't think blades are stainless, and cheaply made, so i doubt they'll hold up long in a kitchen. I can do pretty all this stuff with a knife and spoon! Save your money.

    • @2centchick

    I like my peelers but I have to admit, when you use the small peeler to make thin slices of carrot, or when you julienne or make long strips with the other one, you always end up with a nub that you gotta cut with a knife anyways.... so I kinda feel like it’s a waste of time to use the peeler/slicer when I’m just gonna have to use a knife in the end anyways....
    And be careful- I’ve caught my knuckles a few times trying to figure out how to best hold them... ouch!

    Thank you. You told me and showed me exactly what I was trying to find after buying the same peelers. But they came with very little in the way of instructions AND the colors had different blades from the ones I got and saw in the original sales video. Cheers!

    I think if both of you were using the same peeler (correct one) at the same time, there may not be such difficulty with the lady in the green.

    I'm liking the Magic Trio Peelers and will order them on Amazon. I've never seen the 'As Seen on TV' version and this is my initial introduction to this product. Based on the shipping time they must come from China. Well done ladies! Thank you!

      Right, the one I bought was shipped from China. I’m not sure there is an ‘As Seen on TV’ version. I have just seen it posted a lot on social media. Thanks for watching!

  • @ideationink
    @ideationink 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Apparently, they didn't watch the original video very carefully. They're using the wrong tool for the wrong purpose. The red one isn't meant to peel, it's for julienning. The other two are also for specific purposes, but they're trying to use them interchangeably and that's why they're not as successful as others who have videoed demos of these. Regardless, appreciate the effort.

    • @2centchick
      @2centchick  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The ones we bought the colors are different from the original video. I think there are several different ones on the market.

    • @ideationink
      @ideationink 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      2¢ Chicks Could be. I thought I saw the julienne serrated blade on the red one used in the video. Maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me. The cheap set I bought matches the product video, fortunately. Thanks for explaining about the knock off products. I doubt many are aware of that. 👍🏻🤗

    With the black peeler do NOT peel it the way she's doing it. The peeler should bear down on the veg, not the veg bear down on the peeler or you'll lose a fingertip.
