Hi. I gave the old 10× magnification mirror. I'm liking this one 10× more!! My "arm" to hold the mirror broke years ago. I am still using it but I'm ready to get a new one that I won't have to fight with. Thank you...I love this!!!

Ladies, SimpleHuman is the way to go. Lots of choices and well worth the outrageous price. I use it for shaving and it's rechargeable and comes with a perfect mount. The only bad thing about the mirror you reviewed is that I don't see the tats! :)~ Thanks again for the entertainment!!!

Pretty cool mirror....it looked like it was made for your bathroom sink LOL I sort of can understand your sink quirk Cathy. I am a little picky about my kitchen sink to. Dishes HAVE to be rinsed on the garbage disposal side, and I cant stand it if there is water splashed around the top part of the sink and not wiped up. Also I hate any bit of food left behind in the sink , not even a teeny tiny piece. LOL Id say Im a 4 on the superstition level.
The one thing I don't like about plastic magnifying mirrors is how dangerous they can be in the sun. We had something similar to this in the car and the sun ray that reflected on the mirror started to set the car seat on fire, so be careful you don't place this in direct sunlight where it can then reflect on a surface where it could start a fire.
Thank you for this review! I love that you do these! I agree that this would be good from someone (like me) who has to wear glasses for close up work. That said, the cheap suction cup mirrors that you can get at Wal Mart do the trick too and don't necessarily show the level of details (aka: lines and imperfections). Kathy, I too have a wet / dry side of my sink. One side is for washing (left) the other is for drying (right) and the ONLY time that the right side gets wet is when I scrub it!

I think one with a regular mirror on one side and the magnifier on the other side would work best for me because I would like to use it on my den desk to put my makeup on and sometimes my chronic pain can get the better of me so it would be nice to have a place to sit and do my makeup. (whew, long sentence! LOL) One of my quirks is I always align my shoes together when taking them off so that I can step right into them when I put them back on :)

My gramma used to talk about the door thing too. I always thought it was just because as kids we'd run in the front door and out the back to get a head start on a race or something (yes, we cheated) and I always thought her 'it's bad luck to enter a house thru one door and leave thru another" was just her way of stopping the chaos. But then again, my gramma never needed to resort to such as that to get us to stop doing anything she didn't want us doing, so.... I don't consider myself to be superstitious at all, but the one I don't test is 'whatever you do on New Year's Day you'll have to do all year long' one. I do NOT do laundry on New Year's Day! This would be a good magnification for me to use, but it's not worth $20, in my opinion. I have a handheld mirror that is magnified on one side that works just fine. I'm not really superstitious, but I do have some quirks :) I guess the most notable is that when I eat m&m's, I eat all the brown ones first, then sort the colors into little groups.
I have a friend who organizes them by color, two of the same color in each column. She then eats the odd ones and then eats the rest in pairs of the same color one row at a time. It truly is an art. 😆

Hey Ladies,Thanks for the video. The mirror looks like a good idea, but like you said the more detail you can see the more imperfections you can find. OK, Robyn, if you are so superstitious why were you going to smash the mirror with a hammer. Isn't that like superstition #1, Don't break a mirror. Just say'n. As for Kathy and her sink, a easy solution is to get a piece of matching counter top, cut it to fit over the half of the sink you don't want people to use, then remove it when you are doing your dishes. When I bought my house the sink was set up that way. I had never seen it before. And it adds some extra counter top space. I would say my quirk, would be always trying to fix something before throwing it out, If it cant be fixed, I remove the undamaged parts and keep them. My wife thought I was a nut, until I began pulling parts out of my pile of stuff and repairing things. Saving us $$. Cha Ching. If I cant fix it I will also just take things apart to see how they work, how they are wired. Sometimes I learn something. Have an Outstanding Day, Be safe

According to this old Irish tradition, after you've entered and exited once, you can leave through any door you like. I'm finally all caught up with all of your videos!! Now I'm in withdraw until the next video! =] I would have to say one of my quirks is eating candy bars weird.. For Reese's cups I punch out the middle to eat it first then eat the ring of the cup last. Kit kats I break them in half then eat the top layer off first then the bottom layer. Milky way/ 3 musketeers i eat all the chocolate off the sides then eat the filling. =D as for superstitions.. Ill go with a 4. Can't wait for the next video!!
I have to throw salt over my shoulder to blind the devil if I spill it. Knock on wood. Hold your breath when you drive past a cemetery. No opening umbrellas in the house. There are so many more I'd be here all day. My level is probably a 9.
That Bird thing I had never heard before 😨😨😨😨 I frequently have birds trying to fly into my bedroom window and all I hear is a thud.😱😱😱 Is it some kind of foreshadowing? My level of superstition is a 10. Thanks for adding one more 🤣🤣🤣
They run into your window because they think they can go through it. If you hang a feather from the window frame hey won’t fly into it. Or put on a window cling.
my Grand dad always said if you open a pocket knife and hand it to somebody they should not close it the person who open it is the only one that should close it. he was very suspicious. me not so much but will never forget that one lol
I would say my quirk is: I always lock my car doors, even when just running into the gas station and I can see my car parked right in front, when I come home just to run into my house and come right back out after retrieving something real quick. I just always keep it locked. Except one time, I apparently didn’t even shut my door and came out the next morning and it was wide open! In the winter no less! I am a 1 on the level for superstition.
I use a 10x mirror. Not that one, but yes, it is really helpful for grooming when I take my glasses off. I have heard the door thing. I have also heard the bird thing. My crazy thing is about names. This comes from my father's side of the family. We all have nicknames and I rarely call anyone in my family by their given name. It is supposed to confuse the Devil.
I have a big superstition that I was taught when I was young like you Robyn, it is that you can't put shoes on a table even if they are clean in a box or or out of a box or dirty, that's the biggest thing but I'm rethinking it now, as I was taught to eat fish on New year's Eve they didn't do it for the first time in my life this year and I'm having a bad year already a lot of things have happened very bad cluding death two of them,so far it's only the beginning of February and a lot of other things have happened, in my life, is it true or coincidence I don't know but you got to know next year I'm not going to chance it again, and I'm kind of mad at myself that I did let it go this year,

When I still had my apartment, in my closet, I had hangers the same color as the clothes were! Red shirt on red hanger, and so on! If someone put an outfit on a wrong color hanger, I took it off, and put it on the right one! I can be very anal about things! :)
My thing is I have to say I love you before I go to sleep. It’s odd but I’ve always had this thing where I feel like I’m going to die in my sleep and I want my last words to be I love you🤷♀️ I have had this since I was five and I am 23 now. Still whisper I love you to my husband every night
My grandma passed on several superstitions, including only leaving through the same door you entered in. A bird in the house means someone is going to die. If you dream of someone dying, someone is going to get married. When losing while playing a game you can change your luck by walking around your chair counter clock wise. On New Year's Day the first person to enter your house MUST be a male. I'm not really superstitious though. Sorry grandma!
I've never heard of this one! But I've always only had one easy exit from my homes. Even when my front door lock jammed I had to stay home until the locksmith arrived and replaced it because I wouldn't leave my back gate unlocked. I think that came from living alone for so long. Always throw salt, never break a mirror ever! And always say "I love you" to my family when we part and Never say "goodbye", always "see you later". I always say "never tempt fate". if i saw myself 10x closer i think i would scare myself to death. speaking of being scared i was really really nervous when you tried to pick up you stool lid with that, i was hoping it stayed and it did i didnt want to hear you ladies cussing and then the hubby when he got home. maybe ask your husband to make you a little wall and table just for these kind of demos. so if you do break you something it wont cost you an arm and a leg, and all replacements can be replaced from a thrift shop. question: would you move to a colder climate if you were transferred there?

I have to kiss , hug and tell my husband I love you before bed and if either one of us are leaving the house . Because you never know when that could be your last time that you are able to do it . Even when we are mad at each other we have to do it.
This is a lie!!! It most certainly is not a flexible mirror! I tried to bend the glass and it didn't work. Instead the glass just shattered and cut my hands open! I feel lied too. I think i might have a lawsuit... or maybe i just used the product wrong?
My Ex was the SAME way about the kitchen sink. Plates dishes could not be on side with disposal. (Although he was an abusive jerk about it). Superstitions were probably come about for saving lives back in the day. Like representing diseases/good hygiene. Lots of symbolism. Not necessarily superstitious. Just don't want to trip over a cat in the dark, pick up broken glass, or bang my head on a ladder...

I'm finally all caught up with all of your videos!! Now I'm in withdraw until the next video! =] I would have to say one of my quirks is eating candy bars weird.. For Reese's cups I punch out the middle to eat it first then eat the ring of the cup last. Kit kats I break them in half then eat the top layer off first then the bottom layer. Milky way/ 3 musketeers i eat all the chocolate off the sides then eat the filling. =D as for superstitions.. Ill go with a 4. Can't wait for the next video!!

I have to throw salt over my shoulder to blind the devil if I spill it. Knock on wood. Hold your breath when you drive past a cemetery. No opening umbrellas in the house. There are so many more I'd be here all day. My level is probably a 9.

I would say my quirk is: I always lock my car doors, even when just running into the gas station and I can see my car parked right in front, when I come home just to run into my house and come right back out after retrieving something real quick. I just always keep it locked. Except one time, I apparently didn’t even shut my door and came out the next morning and it was wide open! In the winter no less! I am a 1 on the level for superstition.

I have heard the door thing. I have also heard the bird thing. My crazy thing is about names. This comes from my father's side of the family. We all have nicknames and I rarely call anyone in my family by their given name. It is supposed to confuse the Devil.

I have a big superstition that I was taught when I was young like you Robyn, it is that you can't put shoes on a table even if they are clean in a box or or out of a box or dirty, that's the biggest thing but I'm rethinking it now, as I was taught to eat fish on New year's Eve they didn't do it for the first time in my life this year and I'm having a bad year already a lot of things have happened very bad cluding death two of them,so far it's only the beginning of February and a lot of other things have happened, in my life, is it true or coincidence I don't know but you got to know next year I'm not going to chance it again, and I'm kind of mad at myself that I did let it go this year,

When I still had my apartment, in my closet, I had hangers the same color as the clothes were! Red shirt on red hanger, and so on! If someone put an outfit on a wrong color hanger, I took it off, and put it on the right one! I can be very anal about things! :)

My grandma passed on several superstitions, including only leaving through the same door you entered in. A bird in the house means someone is going to die. If you dream of someone dying, someone is going to get married. When losing while playing a game you can change your luck by walking around your chair counter clock wise. On New Year's Day the first person to enter your house MUST be a male. I'm not really superstitious though. Sorry grandma!

I've never heard of this one! But I've always only had one easy exit from my homes. Even when my front door lock jammed I had to stay home until the locksmith arrived and replaced it because I wouldn't leave my back gate unlocked. I think that came from living alone for so long. Always throw salt, never break a mirror ever! And always say "I love you" to my family when we part and Never say "goodbye", always "see you later". I always say "never tempt fate". if i saw myself 10x closer i think i would scare myself to death. speaking of being scared i was really really nervous when you tried to pick up you stool lid with that, i was hoping it stayed and it did i didnt want to hear you ladies cussing and then the hubby when he got home. maybe ask your husband to make you a little wall and table just for these kind of demos. so if you do break you something it wont cost you an arm and a leg, and all replacements can be replaced from a thrift shop.

I have to kiss , hug and tell my husband I love you before bed and if either one of us are leaving the house . Because you never know when that could be your last time that you are able to do it . Even when we are mad at each other we have to do it.

My Ex was the SAME way about the kitchen sink. Plates dishes could not be on side with disposal. (Although he was an abusive jerk about it). Superstitions were probably come about for saving lives back in the day. Like representing diseases/good hygiene. Lots of symbolism. Not necessarily superstitious. Just don't want to trip over a cat in the dark, pick up broken glass, or bang my head on a ladder...

I bought that one on QVC and I had it six months and it stopped working so the expensive ones are no better it’s a personal choice sorry!!!

It's a piece of trash. It has just arrived.. It came chipped, it's plastic, when you look in it, your face looks deformed, due to the cheap plastic. Unless I know the product before I order - that's me done with on-line shopping!! DON"T BUY!!!!
