Thanks for the video. What parts did you use the silicone spray on and what parts did you use the throttle body cleaner for? I need to make sure I'm spraying the right stuff.
Hi Dan, at 500RPM, MAF's air flow rate should be one gram per second per liter of engine displacement ...as a general rule. Measure it for your specific car st 500, 1000, 1500, and 2500 RPM when all is good as a baseline for diagnosis of future issues...
Sorry, Dan, throttle body reading relative to the amount of oxygen or air that enters it is measured by the Mass Air Flow sensor. I am not familiar with any throttle body readings...
Interesting that you didn't disconnect the connector to the throttle body before cleaning. This is not required for the electronic throttle body in this car? I was thinking about removing the throttle body to clean it, and even then I was a little concerned about moving the throttle plate because I'm not sure if it would damage any gears in the throttle body. So it seems like manually moving the throttle plate is not even a concern with the throttle body connected?
@@masood-tv i have another question please answer me when you got time. So I did all that cleaning the throttle body like you did and all good. Is it supposed to open all the way when you push the accelerating pedal while the car is not on? My throttle body not opening all the way is it that normal?
@@najim-fx6626 Try a couple of things first. Have someone accelerate at idle while you place your cellphone camera at the butterfly and see if it opens relative to acceleration rate. If yes, you have no issues. You can also press the bottom of the butterfly flap towards the engine and see if it goes up to 90 degrees. Otherwise, there could be other problems such as someone before you having tampered with the stopper screw for example.... I am curious, does the car go faster when you give it gas as it should?
@@masood-tv I had a friend accelerating with the key on and engine off and like you said put my phone cámara and the butterfly opens only about 15 degrees 20 degrees that's it. The car has power and moves normal. The problem is only when I stop at stop sign with idle the car starts to shake and sometimes dies and have to start it again. And also I have a brake booster leak inside the car at the brake pedal could be that one of the cause of the problem?
@@najim-fx6626 absolutely - especially if you are at Drive gear with the brakes applied such as when at stop signs. Is your car still stalling at idle even after cleaning the throttle body and MAF sensor? If yes, then perhaps your MAF sensor is bad or you have EGR issues. But, you can test those to isolate...

Great walkthrough man , I appreciate you !
Thank you, sir.
Excellent video! Can you tell me where the idle control valve is on this engine? I want to clean it too! Thanks again for the instruction.
Thanks. These cars don't have that to my knowledge.
thank you for the thorough instruction
Thank you for the comment.
HI, what is the good throttle body reading on idle? Thank you

That is correct.
What am I supposed to do for my e420 the maf sensor is in the middle of the engine. There are no videos whatsoever and it’s expensive to do at a shop
What year?

@nbalegend5346 Sorry, I haven't worked on that model and won't be able to look it up for you until mid July...
@@masood-tv it’s ok I appreciate it it ended up being a vacuum leak and it gave back the maf sensor codes for some reason not a hard fix
@@masood-tvany update for the V8 W210 MAF sensor cleaning? Thanks!
Brutal music! Excellent video.
Thanks.
thenkh you my friend
You are welcome, Hayk.
