Bro, mine comes in tomarrow! So excited. What program you using by chance? I personally prefer virtual dj but I've never tried djuced tho. It'll be my first time. I don't have serato pro and don't care for the lite so much cause it's extremely limited. But definitely wanna get the pro within time.

I use Djuced and Serato DJ Pro. I made this mix with Djuced. You really should give Djuced a chance - it's very-very capable and much-much better than Serato Lite

What did they charge between mk2 abd the original? Lovely mix

The jogwheels run differently (lighter), the loop and the effects control is redesigned a bit, shift+quantize now adjust the tempo range. Small changes, but made an already good controller even better.

      Also they added serato’s support

hello, does it happen to you that the volume faders of the inpulse 300 have different resistances? that is to say that one feels heavier when moving than the other

    •  ปีที่แล้ว

I have my Mk1 300 for about 3 years and never experienced such thing. This one doesn't have such issue either.

I've never seen a controller or mixer where you can adjust the up faders resistance, cross fader should be silky smooth and volume faders with a little bit more tension 👍

I'm on tight budget which controller you suggest to beginner? 300 mk2 flx 4 rev 1 traktor s2 numark Mixtrack pro etc. i have only budget for 200 mk2 should i save more to get better one??

It kinda depends which direction you would like to go and how serious you are about DJing. If you want to just try it out and see if it sticks - go for the 200, you can use it later as a backup or prepping device. However if you know right now that you are going to be dedicated, save some more up and go for the 300 - it's a versatile controller. Go with the FLX-4 if you want to be a club DJ and want to start right away with Rekordbox. Go with the REV-1 if you want to learn scratching deeper (so doing whole routines, not just a couple of waka-wakas). Traktor is good hardwarewise, but the software feels now outdated...
But before you buy any gear, try out a couple of software (I think they all have a trial / free version), which one seems to fit you the best, how can you manage your music library, etc.: Djuced, Serato, Rekordbox, VirtualDJ, djay Pro - then choose a compatible controller.

@@PlayDomeHU first of all thank you for your reply. You took your time for me to reply i really appreciate it. The thing is I know I'm not into scratching I just want to make a smooth transition from one song to another. I tried a free version of djuced honestly it's a little bit overwhelming. Right now My main focus is to learn & be a mobile dj for small events but I got a full-time job i think I should be more focused on learning for now.

Can make videos on how to check all the functions/ buttons/knobs are working correctly or not of the controller so anyone who got a defective piece of equipment is easy to replace/return. I can see no one uploads videos about these inspection videos.

@@demon-bh7hi Then I would say go for the Hercules Inpulse 300. Djuced has a built-in DJ Academy with lots of tutorials - they are available on their TH-cam channel as well. You'll get the hang of it, don't worry! ;)

@@demon-bh7hi PlayDome is mainly a video game site - however we do a hardware reviews from time to time. And because I picked up DJing as a hobby a couple of years ago and got connected with Hercules, that's why we have a short mix for each reviewed controller. So creating such videos would be quite offtopic - and I think unnecessary. The forum on the Hercules website is actually very welcoming and you can get lots of help from them.
