Also make sure your entire set is done in ableton so real DJ's like myself look terrible in comparison. Also like Servida said point to the ceiling because you are playing the turntables with your junk. lol
“Theres so much that I can do, that I just don’t know what to do” 😂 bro I feel you on that. That’s definitely where creativity comes into play. Nice video!
Like i dont want to sound ignorant but truly this isnt even close to djing at all like its not even remotely close....please keep in mind when working with a controller you can see everything that’s going on including the beats .... that’s not the case with big machines and night club mixers and cdj ....dont to mention vinyl PLEASE NOTE THAT I’m a producer and i’ve been doing djing for about 3 years and i agree that production is 100000 times harder than djing but still to say that djing is eazy please try mixing on cdjs or vinyl .... i loved the video and the comment ...and i just wanted to prove a point that’s all
Technically speaking if you want to learn the art of DJing do not follow this video there is tons of videos that will actually teach you. But when it comes to production this dude is sick
@@Jj12470 Just learn your DAW, keep making stuff, and keep practicing. And watch tutorials on TH-cam for things you may need help figuring out (mixing, etc.)
For a first set like that, it was very dope! The overwhelming feeling is how I feel with making beats lol. You gotta do videos of you doing set when you making it big, DJ Service!
hey I'm a DJ here that's starting to get into producing. what i've learn from production has helped me greatly with my mixing skills and use of effects, and i believe you will gain some new ideas from dj-ing to your production. here are some suggestions for you to try out in your mixing: beatmatching by ear, playing with the eq, long mixes, melodic mixes (mixing in key), phrase mixing. use effects to either clarify the differences of tracks in the mix, or to blur the boundaries between tracks. your skill as a producer and musician will benefit you greatly in the live performance aspect as you'll start incorporating more samples, syncopation and effects to your tracks and mixes! also, maybe as the salty DJ in me but please dont rely on sync and software track reccomendations to dj,trust your ear and taste, beatmatch by ear and curate your songs! cheers simon and its nice to finally see an upload 🤙🏻
That’s cool man I don’t know scrap about dJ’ing but my father bought a numark pro 2 for $80 from a friend and gifted it to me. Going to keep practicing
I am doing the same thing, however i've been Djing professionally since 2 years and just got started in FL. Im sure you'll get the hang of it real fast! Also i can do a mix for you whenever you like Servida ~
This inspires me to finally set up my Pioneer DDJ-SB3 controller. I bought it brand new almost 1 year, and I haven't even so much as set it up to check if it works. 😩 But if you have taken 30 days to learn to DJ, I know I can do it too. That's a sign that I need to finally figure out how to DJ Great video bro.
sick dude! wouldn't it be sick to pull up to a nightclub or something and being like "yo I got a catalog, talent, and some dj skills give me my time to shine and you won't regret it." that's the goal!
Hey Iam also a dj and you made a pretty good progression for 1 month Here is just a tip: If youre going to do a transition, thats 16 to 32 bars long, then dont forget to let only one kick/bass from one song and kill the kick/bass from the other song that only one bass/kick is playing
the where do i go from here does go away after a while. just have fun with it and it will feel like nothing and everything all at once and it's a great feeling. How to see you progress within the next months.
The bottom fader in the middle is for switching songs tho( keep both volume faders up). For transitioning between songs you kan keep switching for a cool effect.
hey nice to see you learning it I used to dj for like one year but then started with producing and been stuck there since then hahah but i defently have to dj again
You gotta do the classic “fake twist a knob” DJ move to add some sauce😂
And a little point to the ceiling
Also make sure your entire set is done in ableton so real DJ's like myself look terrible in comparison. Also like Servida said point to the ceiling because you are playing the turntables with your junk. lol

I learned in a month too.
From producing to Djing it’s easy, from Djing to production... hmmmm... I got bad news bois 😕
Btw Like!
A R C Y true
Oh yay this should be easy for me
Thats because djing basics are very easy so if you know only them and call yourself a dj that isn't that easy.
A R C Y I disagree I started out djing I’m more effect based in my mixing but it’s actually helped me with equalization

Awesome! I'm a DJ and Producer, and DJing has definitely made me better at producing and gives you more ideas.
I agree
Any tips for producing for beginners?
@@Jj12470 Just learn your DAW, keep making stuff, and keep practicing. And watch tutorials on TH-cam for things you may need help figuring out (mixing, etc.)
wow you actually switched both on and off instead of using the fader haha
Not saying you can't do both volumes, cause sometimes it is easier that way.
thats true
