    Hi for all those who want to buy these , i have been using them for couple of years and the protection is great ..my only issue has been that when you are seated on the bike riding trails or even if you have been wearing them for a while, the center of the protector cap which has a a kind of vented mesh pushes into the center of my patella area and irritates it which has led me to keep 2 small pcs of towel in either knee to create a padding to avoid that brushing and bruising.

      If I buy these will they fit with high style drit bike boots or do they overlap? I want to buy a safe pair of boots and they are all very high looking. Do they overlap with these pads?

      @@Nisotovski SX-1.. It's a little slimmer overall but especially on the inner joint. Can't go wrong with either. I would recommend trying them both on for sizing.

    I wasted my money on the L/XL size. They are to large and I’ve heard the size down is tiny the S/M. Why no med size not available is Ridiculous

    Happy Christmas Chase :) Question for you - it looks like there are two plastic nodules on the inside of the guard, where you would be gripping the bike. Does this not feel weird and give you a smaller contact patch with the bike? Or is it all good?
    Do these guards have any protection against hyperextension?
    Thanks ;)

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Alex. I wouldn't worry about gripping the bike with these. Being just a knee guard, they might give a little support for hyper extension but not nearly as much as an actual knee brace. - Chase

    I bought these but ended up returning. It was because of the feature you pointed out- the padded piece that fits under the top strap and middle strap. As far as could tell, that piece did not open, you had to slip your leg through it . When I tried to wear these over jeans I found it impossible to get my jeans through the padded piece under the strap without my jeans getting all bunched up. I wear jeans when I ride, not shorts. I also bought these because people said they can wear them under jeans too. I bought large, I am 165lbs and legs are pretty thin so its not like I was putting jumbo legs through. Please tell me I was doing something wrong or the secret. Thanks in advance

    Umm, so if these have no negative side... Then why should you ever buy a knee brace for several hundred? Like what is the downside of them? Why should I get a "better" one and a more expensive one?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These are great for a knee guard, NOT to be compared with a knee brace. These will never give the same amount of support as a knee brace. But if you want good impact protection and just a little support, they're great. - Chase
