When you said that breeders are trying to produce the "perfect" crested geckos, it made me feel a bit sad. As the wild-type geckos are already perfect for what they are. I must be in the minority who actually prefers the more "wild-type" look into lizards. When I was looking to buy my crested gecko, I was struggling to find one that isn't a morph. I ended up getting a red phantom white lily. He's gorgeous and all, so no regrets.
@homesteadreptiles2222 Yes, that's right, that's what I was looking for at the time, and I really didn't find any for months here in the UK. I ended up looking for the red phantom line.

@Teogeeko The closest thing you'd find to a wild-type crested is a phantom buckskin . There's very little demand for wild-type crested gecko.
