Try baby food used it for years very successful during breeding add a little calcium every other feeding.Thay love bananas.

What might you use for the plants?

Arnt up you supposed to use both the breeding and normal food and just switch between them?

And they apparently like to eat gloves too!

Didn’t see this, thanks for the video. I have also never used the growth and breeding formula. If we think about what these guys are exposed to in nature, I just can’t imagine they need a special formula specifically made for accelerating growth. Theres just no way a gecko on a proper diet isn’t getting caloric and nutritional demands met to the point of requiring something like breeding and growth. Accelerating growth beyond the natural progression seems unnecessary and I’ll always prefer a well balanced diet.

I have the opposite experience When it comes to handling my males vs females. I have only ever had 1 male that was easy the rest of them are very jumpy and do not like to be touched. My females on the other hand are very calm except for one, she's calm at first but if you hold her long enough she'll just try to run away from you. 3 of my females like being handled so much that if they see me near the enclosures they come up to the Glas it's very cute :). So I think it really depends on the animal and how much you handle them from a young age. But it's cool to see the different experiences people have. Also you're geckos are beautifull 😍.

The place you mentioned is ruining breed. I got birds from recreational homestead and Arcadian orchard. The 2 Bresse guru in the county. I would love to talk more about Bresse. What’s wrong with people is that they don’t understand the circle of life there’s certain animals snakes for example are used to breed that will not eat frozen or dead mice rabbits or anything else they need live food that’s when it comes down to if you don’t like it you just don’t get those animalsget animals that live on fruit and process food

They should feed them other more wild lizards that are more co.mon instead of domesticated ones

The problem with people is that they can't have a pet and accept that they belong to a species that can be eaten. Dogs should also be okay to be eaten by other animals. You saying it's cruel makes you wrong. There is no right or wrong besides between humans. I also had a crested once, and I wouldn't feed it to other animals, but i can accept that specimens from that species can be eaten, and the same goes for dogs, as I have 2 and wouldn't let anything eat them

I agree live feeding is cruel to both parties involved. I just lost my new baby crestie for 14 hrs so the thought of feeding one to a snake….live… makes me really sad.

rabbit meat is high quality and it tastes like a chicken, you cant tell the difference...but you have to cook it properly...same case as beef

For those of us who live in the USA, garter snakes are native reptiles. I read an interesting article concerning this issue before. I think overall garter snakes are more popular over in Europe than the USA./
