Nice couple of fish there. I am trying to mentally map where this is. Looks like the burn area near Pine/Buffalo Creek. But can't think of a creek that size around there. Am I close?

I remember back in the day there was a series of beaver ponds on the Cach la Poudre river in Colorado which were absolute killer fishing holes. Sort of a beaver made pater noster chain of little ponds. Well, the powers that be trapped out the beavers and dynamited the dams in order to open up that section of river for kayakers and rafters. Brutal.

Oh man I be those ponds were the bomb. The beavers are just helping the fish grow big! Haha

My pb largemouth to this day at over 8 pounds was caught out of a 1/2 acre beaver pond no deeper than 8 feet
