Fantastic work and garden, I found I let my onions go to seed (red yellow white) and planted them in September now the cold is here (33• today in southwest Iowa) and the onions and garlic are thriving through, so a tip , bulbs grow best in cold, harvested in late spring warmth for flavor, (have you found that to be true with expectations of green onions and chives, they grow everywhere lol)
