I just gave this video a like, and if you are reading this comment, so should you. Let's get behind small channels like this and help this lady to generate an income. She is putting in a lot of hard work and deserves to be rewarded for it.
TH-cam recommended this video to me. I have no idea why. I don't garden and I don't have an active TH-cam channel. Now I want to upload something for my four subscribers. 😊
Thank you for being so honest about the reality of having a TH-cam channel. I recently started a channel and quickly realized it isn't as easy as it seems.
I'm an artist who has been working hard on my TH-cam channel for several years now. Still not monetized, but getting close! For me, I think a big reason is that I make videos about a few different subjects that I'm passionate about, such as art, travel, nature, and daily mundane things. I think if I was to choose ONE thing, it would grow at a faster rate, but then I wouldn't be making what truly makes my soul sing. I think people get too caught up with numbers and "making it" that they forget the reason why they really started it. Just follow your heart and do the things that bring joy and meaning into your life. That should be the main point. ❤️
Exactly, I am the same, making vids about what I enjoy & its taken years to get anywhere. I have just had a video that's done really well but it was different to my usual content, I made 2 others similar to that one & they haven't done so well but that's fine. I'm looking forward to watching all my videos in years to come when perhaps I can't do as much & I will enjoy watching all the enjoyment I had doing the things that make me happy 😊
As someone who’s gen x it has been refreshing to see YT being adopted in this way. It’s not all just about sensational or attention grabbing content. It restores faith in the social platforms 😊😊
Your realism and honesty are so refreshing. It gets super tiresome to see clickbaity videos saying "This strategy helped me make $13,000 a month!" and then they have no specifics about what they actually did other than "make stuff" and "promote your stuff." I don't know if they're straight up lying about their income, if they just got incredibly lucky, or if they're working their butt off and then downplaying how hard it was. I like gardening, but live in a totally different climate from you. I am in a really cold part of upstate NY, so my biggest challenge is always finding cold-hardy plants, or finding fast-growing vegetables that I will be able to harvest in a short growing season. I already had a frost that killed most of my veggies except the Swiss chard.
I agree 100% with you young lady I have a thriving TH-cam channel and just as you said one video did it for me it was a door closer video of all things it’s amazing without that one video I would’ve never got monitor and I have well over 600 videos But without that one I probably would have thought about quitting. I now make approximately $180 a month which is pocket change but it’s growing by about 18% a month and my channel was established a year and a half ago. Thank you for your honest insight. I’m totally hoping the best for you and as a retired person I appreciate your insight. Thank you again Michael Walker.
Sounds to me like gardening isn’t the only things you could share on your channel. Lifestyle and your hobbies like crocheting and book summaries of the books you’re reading.
This is a wonderful video and a great piece of advice! You've got to love it, that's true! And it's important to establish and keep a good balance so the pressure from the algorithm doesn't take away the joy. I live in a similar way. When I was married, I did a lot of gardening, growing vegetables, herbs, flowers. I even had four backyard chickens. Now being divorced, all I have is a few pots on my balcony. But I tend to them every day, it's very healing. There is something very special about growing things! I wish you best of luck with your channel!
I just want to let you know…. Your video, this one, came across today for the first time and I’m glad it did. Also thank you for sharing your sincerity. Sending love. I’m also in Florida. You do you but don’t give up. Congratulations on your new addition to the family!! Wishing you the best and everything you do… First time here, but I’m subscribing ❤🙋♀️🙏
YT showed me this video, because it’s info about having a channel. My husband and I consider starting channel. I think your topic is perfect for a lot of people, so I wish you luck getting some extra views. By the way… I really get tired of all the channels offering me courses!
Please don't give up on your channel! Sadly, the way the world is going, people could be flocking to your channel as the supply chain implodes and the food gets scarce. I know that sounds completely negative and I'm sorry, but we never know what the future holds. One thing that I just learned that most people overlook is this: Go into your YT Studio on a desktop, click on your settings and find the tab where you list your keywords. Put the keywords in there that reflect your channel. It makes a big impact to have that filled out. Hope that helps and good luck!😊
This video should be mandatory watching for anyone interested in TH-cam. This is absolute gold! Everything you said in this video is 100% true and facts! Bravo 👏🏼 😊
This is one of the most honest reviews I’ve seen on TH-cam, honestly everyone wants to sell a course. Thank you for being honest and transparent. I also live in Florida and gardening here is a struggle. I have a backyard food forest. Keep going and be encouraged, thank you for your insights.
Chang the channel name to "my organic life" and incorporate your garden and local market and do a cooking and lifestyle channel for people of your age group.
Your info on starting a TH-cam channel hooked me. I would also watch videos on indoor gardening and crochet. I'm your age and listening to you is like listening to a friend
So sorry to hear you lost your faith community but I’m grateful to have seen your channel and heard your wise heartfelt advice. I have always wanted to grow my own organic garden but I have black thumbs that kill every potted basil I bring home. So I just recommend books because I can’t kill those 😝. Have fun doing other things you love. You deserve a break from all your hard work. Oooh, you’re gonna have a blast when your grandchild comes. 💕
I just came upon your video. Sharing your experience and wisdom gained in both gardening and You Tube will be helpful to many. Your honesty and sincerity is endearing. Please don't be discouraged. I believe your organic gardening teachings will be something more people will be looking to learn in the future. It's coming. The writing is on the wall.
I subscribed because of your authenticity. Your video popped up and I am in the southern part of Africa. It shows the power of the internet. Thank you for keeping it real
Simple addition to your content: Visit other gardens, review them, about what they do and dont do right, what you like and dont like about them. Reviewing other gardens allows co-branding with gardening products, such as fertilizers and gardening equipment and tools. Even if shorts of other gardens are uploaded, it will feed into your own. Get the eyes from the shorts, it will casscade. Maintain full "speed."
same happened to me - I'm not a home gardener and the closest I've ever come to a video like this is when I used YT to learn more about composting - watched half a dozen of them years ago - 3 or 4 I guess it was. So why this gardener TH-camr video popped into my YT 'feed' I have no idea. But like you, I watched the whole video and feel the same as you do about this woman. God bless both of you 🙏
Keep going. You’re not just posting your videos - you’re making friends and community of what you love to do. Congratulations on the baby on the way !! ❤💕😘
We both have the passion to turn our interests into reality. You enjoy planting, while I love baking, and together these pursuits make our lives more meaningful and impactful. You've turned a lawn into a beautiful planting bed-it's amazing!
I've been on TH-cam for 9 years. The last few years I've uploaded very hit and miss. At just barely over 3K subs I've never made more than a couple hundred dollars "a year" when I was at my busiest. That's not enough to pay for one of my adventures or time I put into videos. It's sure not that beginners think! You're exactly right in the fact, you better be doing it because you're enjoying sharing what you do. The contact and comments from loyal subscribers really are what make the effort worth it. Don't compare yourself to others because it can be depressing. I've never seen your channel before and it popped up in suggested videos this morning. I love the honestly and wish you the best of luck in all you do. BUT, just do you. All the best, Another senior on TH-cam ✌
I'm not into gardening, but I really resonate with what you mentioned about gurus everywhere. In 2021, I decided to pivot from dropshipping to coaching. After spending over $100k on mentorships, I didn’t see any return. The topics were always the same, and just when I thought I understood, I’d need to upgrade to the next course. Some people, probably smarter than most of us, knew the game and made boatloads of money by giving 'value'-which felt incomplete until you signed up for their expensive course, only to discover that one missing piece from their free challenge/course. Then, another upgrade would be offered to truly 'make it' and achieve success. It just never ends. I can’t imagine conning people like that. I honestly don’t know how they sleep at night, claiming to provide value. That's why I started my TH-cam channel to share the courses I’ve created for free, hoping people will actually benefit from them. For a while, I thought I was just complaining, but your video proves I was right all along in my observations. ☺
It takes WORK but it is so worth it. I am learning sooo many skills from planning, filming, editing, organizing, voice and audio processing, digital art and thumbnail making, branding, talking to the camera and having a media presence. It's a huge huge learning curve for some of us. As a small TH-camr, I am giving back engagement to your channel as a small contribution from my end
This video has shown that you have other skills to offer in addition to gardening and canning: The sweater (crochet project in progress) is the one that jumped out at me as being a video topic many people these days would love with your kind honesty.
3am in Turkey, I get this in my feed, and our paths crossed , which would be very unlikely in stream of life. Maybe because I am always thinking of starting a channel, and I have done searches about gardening in the past. I did watch it, thanks for your down to earth and rational advice. I hope to see you again. Take care
I was younger once! My Mamaw grew gardens every year. I worked in them with her and fed the toads and birds and chased lizards and I loved everything about it. Moving the water through the ditches and digging and pulling weeds and fixing the mower with my Papaw. She harvested so much tasty food and canned fruit and pickles and baked pies. Her flowers were amazing and she would win ribbons in the fair every year. Now I just feel really fortunate for those days.
And hashtags! Your only hashtags are #peanuts and #spanish Hashtags all your keywords and place keywords in your title, and place keywords in your main bio. Shorten your descriptions and bulletin pint the stuff you want to stick out- like affiliate links Are you an affiliate for any editing programs? Software? Ai tools? Investing apps? Place those in your description! Your channel is great, just a little restructuring 💕
I absolutely agree with you, we’re only just over a year into our channel, & it’s very slow but we love what we do or we’d have given up by now, we could do the same as everyone with scrips but we do off the cuff videos keeping things real Thank you for your video :) have a great day
Thank goodness the algorithm sent you to me! You are a delightful lady who just wants to spread the knowledge gained over your lifetime of something that you truly enjoy. No way you're almost 80! I thought you were in your 60's. Keep up whatever you're doing!
Thank you so much for your support! I've been running my channel for 8 years now, and while I've had some ups and downs with uploading, I'm committed to growing it. Unfortunately, I've faced demonetization due to inconsistent uploads, but this year, I’m really hoping to achieve monetization again ** Happy Gardening **
This is why it is so important to put out honest content and give credit for the inspiration. Because so few many spend hours money to try to make. Only. Few really make money. Bless you
My channel is a small channel. Your doing amazing here. You inspire me. I know we're different channels. Im with you on the you have to want to do this and love it. I make a big $100 plus here and there. 🎉
11:14 - 'TH-cam gurus after 4 months saying the opposite,' haha, so true! There's just so much info online that you end up finding every kind of advice imaginable on the same topic-from common-sense tips to totally out-there takes-all just to get clicks. Congrats on getting monetized! It's amazing that you're diving into all these 'internet' skills, especially when many people your age might think it's beyond them.
The algorithm suggested this video to me 2 months after you made it. I'll be checking out some of your other videos starting with making peanut butter. Thanks for being so honest about making videos.
Thanks for making this video! I, too, am in my 60s, I’ve lived off the land, homeschooled, home birth, etc. Also, I’ve been promoting my copper fire painting online. God has been providing an income, but Facebook and TH-cam have been encouraging me to make more videos. I realized that their interest is only on making money off of my labors. They want a channel (or a profile on FB) to succeed so that they can make money selling advertising. I’m not a content creator, I actually make flame painted copper art pieces by hand. It took me a while to start to realize that TH-cam is not for me, and your video helped to solidify my decision. Thanks again!
I homeschooled and home birthed too! No vaccines either. But they all decided to catch up on the vaccines as adults as most of them traveled internationally.
Do more shorts, consistent.. let's say... twice a week, use your old videos and just make shorts of them in YT app, to get more engage, share is most important.. Wish you the best, keep on gardening and rolling! Cheers from Croatia!
I really admire how honest and plain you were about all this. I may show this to my son at some point to discuss the reality of seeking a career in TH-cam. Great for me too. ❤❤😊
Thank you for your honesty. I don't do gardening but for some reason (a God thing probably) your video came up on my home page. I am in the stage of moving into retirement and wondering what is next for me. As I have a digital background I was thinking of TH-cam. Your video has given me more points to consider and not get caught up in the chasing of the money. Thank you
Finally someone who is honest about TH-cam! I do it strictly for fun and think some of those” Make it big quick” videos are hilarious, look at the views they get😂
There are a few others peppered about. Usually from us older crowd. Another 2 YT'ers I follow have given reality checks on Etsy as well as YT. The 'market' for eyes/attention is extremely crowded. I think that's why some focus on their FB channels as they are more localised/territory forming. If you can post your media on multiple channels without too much effort, at least these options are covered. It sure is not as easy as the course promotors suggest it is.
Thank you for sharing., I started a TH-cam channel and its hard my channel is very small but I keep on trying. Videos like these help. Don't give up, keep making your videos. Take care. Appreciate the advice ❤
I know you said you cringe at youtube advice. I'm not telling you what to do, just sharing a perspective as a viewer abd younger person. Maybe share all of your hobbies on youtube? Adapt and expand. Lots of young adults enjoy crocheting and reading, too. Your youtube is also your garden. Let it grow organically! I feel it could still be on brand. You seem like a lovely woman, and I appreciate your honesty. I wish you the best and hope your channel continues to grow. 💜 glad you crossed my feed.
Congrats on your monetization! 👏I enjoy your channel and content. I find your content very relevant even though I've been gardening a long time. I can still learn new things from others. I am a fellow Floridian, senior citizen, former home school mom, wife, grandma, gardener, canner, and home keeper/homesteadder. Thanks for what you share. ❤
I have seen several "TH-cam gurus", but none of them have been reliable. Your insight, on the other hand, is what I was looking for. My case is worse: after three years, not even close to monetizing. I'm still waiting for that single video to kick off. Maybe it's because my channel is in Spanish, but the good part is that I love making my videos. Thanks for sharing your advice.
I love your outright honesty! I love being part of your community. I LOVED homeschooling...I love growing my own food and crocheting and quilting and canning and making my husband's food for trucking on the road for 10 days at a time, and eating healthy. Thank you, as I am JUST tonight starting my youtube content maker journey.
Just stumpled upon your video. Thank you for your honesty! I really resonate with the tip you got from Fy Nyth. I have been wanting to create a channel for many years. Now I finally got the courage documenting the thing I LOVE doing. Walks/Hiking and photography and getting the hand of editing. And yes it really takes a bunch of hours but I found that using your creativity surrounding what you love, it does not feel as "work".
I have no idea how I found your video. I have subscribed and I've given you a thumbs up and I actually think it's a very good video for someone who's thinking about going on TH-cam.
Honesty about these things is so refreshing. I’d encourage you to share some of your crochet or other fun news - but only if it’s fun. Wishing you lovely semiretirement.
Congratulations on your upcoming Granddaughter, you’re really excited, 😊 Thank you for sharing I watch your content since I stumbled across your channel, which I enjoy watching. My thoughts of TH-cam as a viewer. There are many garden channels too, I think over the period of COVID it grew even further, now many people have moved on with their busy lives hence channels with many subscribers but not the views because people aren’t turning on TH-cam. Personally I don’t like memberships many channels are turning too, even if it’s a small monthly fee.
@@debbiesorganicgardenpeople come for the social aspect, not just the plain info. I see people dedicated to a channel that just shows the guy cooking his meals in his fan and walking his dog. They write long comments that the creator never acknowledges. So really, you. Puked make a cup of tea, set on the pitch and talk about books. 😄 I talk about books but I think I’m going to write on Substack instead. It’s where readers hang out. I did a 60 second review because I have few subs who love reading. 😂
My first time viewing your channel. I'm 69, but I think this could transition to a lifestyle channel, incorporating your love of reading, crocheting, if you can or preserve food, and your retirement journey. If you like to travel, travel to other organic gardens, vegetable and floral, film the experience. There's still so much you can do, if you want to grow your channel. You are such a lovely lady. I can imagine this one honest video helped so many and will get many views. Good luck to you. I was looking for something extra to do in retirement, but after your honesty, this is definitely not it😊 You mentioned well being. Mental health has a huge focus now, and as a gardener myself, except food, shady yard here, getting out in nature, is cathartic.
I am an artist. I pour paint. Gee, I hardly have any subscribers. And your video is so down to earth, and inspiring. Thank you. Monetization, would be great. This is really new to me, and I appreciate your insight.
I was not looking for your video, I’m not even interested in the content you provide, but your video was recommended to me by TH-cam, and so I am watching it right now
So glad someone finally said it - thank-you ! The fact is, we are the miners going underground to chop at the hard rock to find tiny bits of gold which we hope to sell to the buyers who make a profit. The ones who really make the money are the ones selling the spades, pick axes and wheelbarrows to the miners, IOW *TH-cam* is making the real bucks. Always sell the means of production rather than being the producer.
Your honesty is refreshing! I enjoy TH-cam as a hobby since I am retired. I think I will really apply myself in 2025 and see if I can get monetized. I have only been actively uploading for about 2 and a half years mostly shorts.
I do see value is being consistent. It's just hard to tell what will catch the algorithm's attention. It makes sense that you have a better chance if you are consistent.
Thank you for your truth on this. I didn't know that you have to have a video that goes viral in order to get the hours. I thought when you got 1,000 subscribers, you were monetized. The fact that they put video hours on top of subscribers makes me angry.
Ditto-- you tube recommended this video to me even tho I don't have organic gardening as an interest. I have always wondered about the subject of how channels work because I watch a lot of TH-cam.
Been a creator for almost 6 years now and I do my utmost to stay small. I don't ask for likes or subscriptions, I don't have sponsors or a patreon page (or any other way of collecting money) I only upload raw video, no editing. I have a small but loyal fanbase and I couldn't be happier
So true what you said about TH-cam Gurus. One of my favourites said “niche down”, become a Creator. Now he says “Don’t niche down” or become a creatpr!
Thank you very much for the honnest talk. I indeed bought also a expensive course from a YT-er and there was no extra info that you could not find online..... It is refreshing to hear honnest how much time and efforts go into it!
Your video popped into my feed today, and it doesn't match anything I normally watch. But I'm glad it did appear, as I appreciated your candor about how TH-cam works and your insights into being a Creator. So thanks.
I have been monitized for a year and have only made 300 dollars. I definitely agree with having a channel based on doing something you love.. because I would have quit long ago if it wasn't something that I was already doing. Its so much work to make and edit videos. I have subscribed as I am definitely interested in organic gardening!
Hi Debbie, earlier today I was watching 👀 videos learning about becoming a TH-cam content creator and now you’ve popped up and I think you are an absolute legend and blessing in the world. Thank you 🙏 and hopefully next year we are moving house to somewhere with a garden to grow vegetables so I’ve just subscribed and hope to learn more from your channel 🎉😊🙏
Thank you for this information, I have toyed with the thought of creating a YT channel and frankly your words of wisdom help clarify the commitment and possible obsession to deliver content a non starter for my somewhat obsessive nature. Wishing you the best!
I just came across your channel I guess from TH-cam itself thank you for your honesty. I always wondered all about TH-cam and you just provided what I wondered but nobody talks about. Thank you. Greetings from colombia south america
Thank you for making this video, I watched and listened all the way through. Very insightful and honest. I started my channel properly last August, I certainly don’t do it for the money, I just enjoy making running videos and I’ve made lots of friends through the channel. So I’ve been successful😀
Thank you for this honest and authentic video. I’m so sick not only of big TH-cam gurus, but also about these starting TH-camrs who spam us with new trend videos « how TH-cam changed my life » and « it is worth it ». And they’re doing these videos not because it really worth it, but simply hoping that these particular videos would attract lots of views and help them to get monetized.
What you are sharing is important! You are passing on valuable information to others that took you a lifetime to learn. The future generations will thank you for documenting how to grow an organic garden. No, most who do TH-cam won't make a whole lot of money from Adsense BUT - Your videos are investing in the lives of others, teaching them tips and tricks they can't find in books; real life experience! Keep sharing and pace yourself. Don't let TH-cam pressure you post more than you feel comfortable with or you will burn out. Blessings!

You do you but don’t give up. Congratulations on your new addition to the family!! Wishing you the best and everything you do… First time here, but I’m subscribing ❤🙋♀️🙏
Yes me too & im glad it did I’m enjoying your videos even though I’m not a gardener yet. God bless from South Africa
You just showed up in my feed for the first time! So you're doing something right. 😊
Same!
Great tip! I'll check it out. I may have done it but it probably needs updating.
@@Shortshortshortyshorts I will recheck mine too. Thanks
I've thought about that. It's still brewing!
Nice Idea!
Yes max
That’s a great idea 😊
Holy cow, that’s really helpful! Very cool of you.
I believe your organic gardening teachings will be
something more people will be looking to learn in the future.
It's coming.
The writing is on the wall.
And the crochet can be another niech ❤
I subscribed because of your authenticity. Your video popped up and I am in the southern part of Africa. It shows the power of the internet. Thank you for keeping it real
Simple addition to your content: Visit other gardens, review them, about what they do and dont do right, what you like and dont like about them. Reviewing other gardens allows co-branding with gardening products, such as fertilizers and gardening equipment and tools. Even if shorts of other gardens are uploaded, it will feed into your own. Get the eyes from the shorts, it will casscade. Maintain full "speed."
Thank you for your video - it came up randomly and I'm so grateful! I am 68 also - God bless you! You have a lot of wisdom 🌹
same happened to me - I'm not a home gardener and the closest I've ever come to a video like this is when I used YT to learn more about composting - watched half a dozen of them years ago - 3 or 4 I guess it was.
All the best,
Another senior on TH-cam ✌
Thank you for your honesty. I pray this video gets the attention it deserves.
I hope so too. Thank you!
Your only hashtags are #peanuts and #spanish
Hashtags all your keywords and place keywords in your title, and place keywords in your main bio.
Shorten your descriptions and bulletin pint the stuff you want to stick out- like affiliate links
Are you an affiliate for any editing programs? Software? Ai tools? Investing apps? Place those in your description! Your channel is great, just a little restructuring 💕
I absolutely agree with you, we’re only just over a year into our channel, & it’s very slow but we love what we do or we’d have given up by now, we could do the same as everyone with scrips but we do off the cuff videos keeping things real
Thank you for your video :) have a great day
Thank goodness the algorithm sent you to me! You are a delightful lady who just wants to spread the knowledge gained over your lifetime of something that you truly enjoy.
No way you're almost 80! I thought you were in your 60's. Keep up whatever you're doing!
oh no! I'm 68. Thanks for the compliments:)
You are such a beautiful soul and deserve to enjoy your life now that there are not that many obligations ❤ God bless you
The algorithm suggested this video to me 2 months after you made it. I'll be checking out some of your other videos starting with making peanut butter. Thanks for being so honest about making videos.
I was in my garden all day and just caught this preview. Bravo! Do some crochet d.i.y. too...
I believe the same too.
🎉
Thanks for the tip
Yes, I have heard of other media to post the same video to. I just have to find the time to look into them. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing. I think that you can also put on your channel those other things you like doing, your crocheting we would like to see it mama ❤
Thank you for sharing., I started a TH-cam channel and its hard my channel is very small but I keep on trying. Videos like these help. Don't give up, keep making your videos. Take care. Appreciate the advice ❤
Great video. I have 10 channels at the moment ( 3 of them monetized ) with 15 years experience and you still brought fresh insight being a TH-camr.
Thanks for the information Debbie.I'm a new youtuber and your information is very honest and sincere compared to most channels.Again, thanks alot.
🙏 I always advised my students: do what you love. That's never time wasted. 💕
Totally agree!
Thank you so much. More gardening videos are coming. Gotta get past all this rain!
This is the reality... Thank you for your valuable and sincere information!
I have no idea how I found your video. I have subscribed and I've given you a thumbs up and I actually think it's a very good video for someone who's thinking about going on TH-cam.
Love your story! Don't stop, I want to learn all I can about growing my own food 💕
Honesty about these things is so refreshing. I’d encourage you to share some of your crochet or other fun news - but only if it’s fun. Wishing you lovely semiretirement.
Congratulations on your upcoming Granddaughter, you’re really excited, 😊
Thank you for sharing I watch your content since I stumbled across your channel, which I enjoy watching.
I agree. Most of the time, it's info that is available for free somewhere else.
I talk about books but I think I’m going to write on Substack instead. It’s where readers hang out.
I did a 60 second review because I have few subs who love reading. 😂
@@LilyGazou Never heard of Substack. I am a reader so I will check it out.
Thank you for your candor and realism!
I was looking for something extra to do in retirement, but after your honesty, this is definitely not it😊
You mentioned well being. Mental health has a huge focus now, and as a gardener myself, except food, shady yard here, getting out in nature, is cathartic.
45 years old here. I love how you talked about details, numbers of hours, money and effort. Very helpful 🎉 thanks
I am an artist. I pour paint. Gee, I hardly have any subscribers. And your video is so down to earth, and inspiring. Thank you. Monetization, would be great. This is really new to me, and I appreciate your insight.
Some really valuable life lessons here from a really savy woman. Take care my friend.
I was not looking for your video, I’m not even interested in the content you provide, but your video was recommended to me by TH-cam, and so I am watching it right now
You have a natural charm.
Thank you ma'am! The value of this video is thousand more than watching the scammer gurus with high paced over the top editing. Much love dear lady!
Keep plugging away! Im in the same situation right now. Should have 1k subs by end of year. The watch time hours are very hard to get.
Ditto-- you tube recommended this video to me even tho I don't have organic gardening as an interest. I have always wondered about the subject of how channels work because I watch a lot of TH-cam.
You seem like a real sweet person. I wish you good luck with everything on and off camera. ❤
I loved this video, thank you for being so candid! This is my first year gardening, I just subscribed.
SO TRUE!! I rarely listen to them anymore.
@debbiesorganicgarden same here, I don't listen to them anymore. I'll do whatever I love to do. I don't want to be boxed in a niche. 😊
Thank you very much for the honnest talk. I indeed bought also a expensive course from a YT-er and there was no extra info that you could not find online.....
It is refreshing to hear honnest how much time and efforts go into it!
One of the best and most authentic videos I have seen, thankyou x
I just came across your channel I guess from TH-cam itself
thank you for your honesty. I always wondered all about TH-cam and you just provided what I wondered but nobody talks about.
Thank you. Greetings from colombia south america
Your video was suggested to me by TH-cam. Good luck with your channel!
Thank you!
Thank you for making this video, I watched and listened all the way through. Very insightful and honest. I started my channel properly last August, I certainly don’t do it for the money, I just enjoy making running videos and I’ve made lots of friends through the channel. So I’ve been successful😀
You are so welcome!
@@CassyExploring amen! Many try to make you think they are very successful but they are really preying on our vulnerability.
Blessings!
