Okay, this was really good. The whole description of the plant and what it's like to work there is fleshed out really well, which makes the surreal horror at the end more jarring. And that last line is seriously meta.

I've read something like this before but it was about lights. basically the main character senses that something is off in his house and decides to sleep with his lights on. then the monster shows up and thanks him for turning the lights and making it easier for it to see him.
and then the main character dies. the end.

This was pretty good, Lighthouse.
I love a story set in a place or situation where the author has some expertise (working in a plant with heavy machinery). It keeps the storytelling on a clean track until the surprises arrive. Nicely written. I'd leave the work SIREN HEAD out of the title so that the listeners can be caught off guard and be thrilled to get a new Siren Head story.
This is how you do good horror. The fewer details of the monster the better.

I think the elders of the local community wanted to warn them of the creature but they are either gonna seem crazy. And the construction of the plant angered the creature.

The sound from the machines were so loud that damage to his hearing began immediately, but he could still hear gravel crunching over the machines? Great narration as always, I think the story needs a little reworking though. Thanks for the upload.

Meh, not a fan of this one. I like stories that leave you guessing, but only when it seems like the author had an idea of what was happening, and all the clues lead up to plausible theories. Unless I just don't get it, which is possible. But this to me seems like one of those stories where the author started with an idea, and didn't really flesh it out. Like the first thing he knew about the story was that it would end with the words "Thanks for listening", and not much thought was put into it other than that. I mean, why was the dude in control confused?
Why did he insist on keeping his earplugs in? Why was he typing? Why did the monster not kill the second guy, merely telling him to leave?
Or, if he did kill him and the control guy was just lying, under a thrall or something, what would the point be of all of that? Why would it go through the trouble? If it was related to the native land, that link wasn't really explored enough for me. Why would they put up a fight against the place being built, and then just drop it, not warning them or even hinting at anything?
Why did the monster bother to mess with the machines? Why not just kill him? Why did he need the protagonist to remove his ear plugs, why not just kill him? It just doesn't like to kill people without delivering a snappy punchline?
I just don't get it, and I don't even think the author would be able to answer those questions (unless of course, again, I just don't get it or I'm missing something, in which case I'd love for someone to explain it to me!)
It was well written in technical terms, but it seems like the gimmick came first and the story was thrown around that gimmick; it just didn't make sense. Not scary, just confusing and, to be honest, a bit frustrating - a half hour to get to that??

Was very disappointed with that ending and story feels incomplete.
