Unbelievably, we stumbled upon a familiar Canadian oasis amidst the bustling streets-Tim Hortons. Chantal's joy was palpable as she savored her beloved coffee, a taste of home in the heart of Bangkok.
Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery & CentralWorld Shopping Malls gave us a taste of international allure, showcasing renowned stores and luxurious brands. Back at the hotel, we had a sticky rice dessert and called it a day.
The next day, we enjoyed a finger-licking lunch at Modena by Fraser Hotel. Their M Restaurant & Bistro treated us to a full-course meal that didn't only look great but tasted even better.
We decided to use the day for work and loved how the Modena Hotel's thoughtful design catered to both relaxation and productivity, making it an ideal workspace for our work mode. Later on, our venture through the awe-inspiring Benchakitti Park added a touch of tranquility to our bustling day. As the sun set, Terminal 21 Shopping Center called to us - an eight-story marvel with city-themed floors named after metropolises like London, Paris, and Istanbul.
A perfect day culminated with a movie. This time we chose to see The Little Mermaid, and the striking resemblance to the original animated movie left us mesmerized.

Bangkok is affordable but goods and services are top notched. You get the best deals here. This city also offers beautiful cultures mixed from ancient and modern. You never run out of things and activities to do. The safty is also very good. I dont see how any other cities cam compete against Bangkok. In the near future, the government is trying to get rid of the beggers on the street and enforce laws to keep the city even cleaner and more organized.

Thai used a Buddhism year my friends, NEVER a Chinese year.
And we never known what year the Chinese people really used in their country, we just known that a lot of them love to come to live here in Thailand since the ancient time about their Chinese Tang dynasty.
And we also have the Thai new year day and of course not the same as the Chinese one.

Non Canadians don't really understand how hard Timmies Iced Caps hit when you are abroad in a hot country like Thailand, UAE, China, India, Philippines etc where they have Timmies. Seeing a Timmies in a hot country is like a mirage already, but when they make the Iced Caps properly, it just tastes a million times better than back in Canada. In Thailand, you can have Thai, Japanese, Korean, American, Indian, Chinese, or Vietnam food.
Also, do not trust Thai "little spicy", it is never a little spicy.
You can have everything in Bangkok shopping malls, shopping, cutting hair, massage, banking, watching movies, reading at bookstores or at cafes, ton of food options, big chain restaurants, food court, supermarket, street food, mall festivals. You can spend your whole day in a shopping mall in Bangkok without feeling bored.

I was living in Toronto on my OE (Overseas Experience)when Tim Horton played Ice hockey. I remember his coffee shops. You had a great time shopping for everything you needed it was a great place. Loved the tour caught your excitement on being there. Kiwi from Virginia

@@GrowingUpWithoutBorders Thats for sure, cold!!! Often wondered if I had legs at times between the witches britches and the long boots, couldn't feel them, lol. It was quite the experience living through a winter in Canada. Really got into Ice Hockey, loved the game and the Maple Leafs my team. Tim Horton was a clown as I remember on the ice. I was a big fan.
I have the same thing happen but to my fingers. I can't feel them half the time. Especially when we would have to fill up with gas at -25C 🥶

at Terminal 21 I reccommend you to try the food at foodcourt(5th floor). the food is delicious and super cheap(by the mall policy around half price compare to other mall)

Please try [After you] it's a famous Thailand branded dessert cafe. You can find it in big mall include Terminal 21. Try Moo kra ta while looking over the mountain view. And go snorkeling in Surin. Dining on bus around the city or on boat along the river. Try sky bar or squid fishing over Pattaya sea

Terminal 21 is small mall compared to other malls in Bangkok, this place is famous for cheap food on the top floor (food court) for locals and tourist. The huge one is Icon Siam.
