- In this episode of Thai Adventures we fly from London Heathrow to Dubai for a connecting flight to Bangkok BKK. We then catch a shuttle bus to DMK and then fly Air Asia to Krabi.
We stop off at the Infinity Ao Nang hotel and take a Longtail boat to Railay Beach which was one of the best things to do in Thailand and Krabi. We then caught a shuttle bus service to our hotel Tubkaak Boutique Resort of Tubkaek Beach Krabi which we feel is not only one of the best beaches in Krabi but also Thailand.
We spend a day at the resort and then head off on a private Longtail Boat to Hong Island where we check out the incredible 360 viewpoint and then spend a few hours in the crystal blue sea. However, watch for Jellyfish.
We then had or dinner at the Seafood restaurat on Tubkaek Beach and the following day do some kayaking as well as have Jon and Lily's first ever Thai Massage.
For our last night we spent more time at the resort and then caught a shuttle bus to the airport before flying back to Bangkok for Songkran which is definitely the best thing to do if you visit Bangkok and/or Thailand in general.

The jellyfish were really bad this year. I've been to Krabi a few times in the last few years and spent Songkran on Railay Beach and I think I'll stick with winter from now on.

@@UcanspeekThai-ป6ฉ I highly recommend Tubkaek beach for sunset. Maybe if you can get a hotel for a night or two, I felt it was one of the best beaches in Thailand because of so much nature, especially in the morning and when the tide goes out. We didn’t leave the hotel it was so beautiful and peaceful.

Welcome back, David! Once again, this video beautifully showcases the bright side of Thailand through your experiences. It's heartwarming to see Ivy growing up into such a lovely young lady. I still recall the first trip when you fell ill from food poisoning and had to rest for a couple of hours. It's delightful to witness Ivy coming out of her shell and feeling more at ease in Thailand; it brings a smile to my face every time.

Most people like to play Songkran in the evening until night. Because is not hot Or check out the news to see which places in Bangkok are holding Songkran events. Next Songkran try going to Silom in the evening, Iconsiam, Sanam Luang and try going to Wan Lai Pattaya Beach Road. Welcome to thailand😊

A great thing to share with your daughter, Lilly, and John.
Thailand isn't that far from the equator, and the sun is violent. There's no other way to describe it.
Having lived in many different countries, and visited more, including Hong Kong, Dubai, Tunisia, Cyprus, I've had my fair share of time in the sun, but on one visit, my travel partner, got burned in the shade on day one, and on another occasion I got badly caught out on my last day, my skins blistered, and I got heat stroke.
It is though, an incredible country, amazing food, great people, and a very interesting culture.
One visit is definitely not enough.
David you make such a wonderful VDO. I recommend you and your team to adventure In Khao Lak ; one hour away from Phuket, and do a day trip to Similan. It much much better than Samui and Koh Tao. You are most well come and enjoy our hospitality. 😊
