Our first trip in Asia… 20 years ago ! We love Bangkok. We ate on the side streets with family for the whole trip, sitting down with them on small plastic chairs. Awesome food and experience. My wife and I couldn’t stop buying fresh fruits, freshly cut in a plastic bag and came with a stick … Breakfast? My job was to take a walk around our appartement, coming back with fried rice, eggs, sugar coated toasts in the bbq, veggies… Oh we now want to go back! Almost forgot.. biggest regret, discovering the mango sticky rice way too late !
We have bags of fruit in our refrigerator now, and yes, we have discovered the mango sticky rice!! Thank you for watching, we will have a street food video out soon! Cheers!!🍻
Thank you & Welcome to Thailand I hope you enjoy with our food, culture, traditional, people. if u got inconvenient in as host we apologize for that Welcome back all time ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
@@BrianandCarrie thank you sir!!! Welcome to Thailand 🇹🇭 if you go to chiang mai there are so many veggies foods there. When you guys get there I will give the restaurants names.
I’m an American expat living in Bangkok for almost three years. Excellent video. With very good and clear descriptions. From my experiences if you are a foreigner. You won’t look out of place not wearing a mask. Anywhere. Including the BTS and MRT. Because the majority of foreigners do not wear masks anywhere here in Bangkok. Which I recommend wearing at least on public transportation because it can get very crowded. The majority of Thais do wear masks on public transportation Ari district is very nice. It’s more of a type of upscale area here in Bangkok.
Hi, Mike! Thank you for the kind words. Mask wearing for whatever reason has become a hot topic, and we choose to when on public transportation. Especially as a tourist out of respect for others that also choose to. However, if you choose not to, that's ok as well. We loved the Ari district and plan on staying there again next time in Bangkok!! Thank you again for the comments and for supporting our channel! Cheers!!🍻
We are so excited to be in Thailand and look forward to the next month of exploring. If you have any suggestions of other areas of Thailand we should visit, please let us know in the comments below. Thanks so much for watching!!
But I like culture the westernners.bcuz no more masks eveyone show the faces.we can see each other. But if you're in Asia the situation about virus still stay with you all around we have patients a lot in the hospitals.but we need to live with them till we never know when come to the end.Thai people they don't need to get the virus to their family.we thought we have to responsible our fam.
Welcome to Thailand! Thank you so much for mentioning about mask wearing on public transportation. Too many tourists are not wearing them on the trains and it makes we locals feel they don't care about our well-being. Enjoy your stay in the Land of Smiles!
Hi Khun Pongpet. Your comment regarding masks on the BTS is a little off - and so is Brian’s comment during the video. As at the date of this video (January 14, 2023) masks are NOT required on the BTS. This has been looked into exhaustively by the expat community and the English announcement on the BTS is an accurate translation - masks are RECOMMENDED on the BTS in accordance with GUIDANCE. (BTS is a private company and is free to adopt a mask requirement as part of its terms & conditions; however, it has chosen not to do so - probably because it would be inconsistent with government laws at the moment - which were changed in July 2022 - to not require masks anywhere, including on public transport and in shopping malls). The foreigners not wearing masks on the BTS are generally NOT tourists, they are expats. Tourists aren’t aware of the legal situation in Thailand and so generally wear masks out of ignorance or as some kind of virtue signalling. The foreigners not wearing masks on the BTS are generally expats, who are better informed about the legal position. There is another question, of course, aside from the legal rules as to whether foreigners should wear masks out of social conformity or concern for the views of Thai people. I will make four comments about that: (1) By 2023, most Thai people wearing masks are not doing so because they are concerned about Covid but out of social conformity and as a matter of social pressure / not rocking the boat. (2) Foreigners are not members of Thai society and accordingly, it is not surprising that they do not feel subject to social pressure that applies only to Thais. (3) You will notice that, over the past few months, increasing numbers of younger Thais are not wearing masks on the BTS or indeed elsewhere - particularly in the evenings and particularly in nightlife areas. This is particularly so amongst more affluent young Thais who have had the opportunity to travel outside Thailand in recent years and realised that the rest of the world is not wearing masks. Those Thais clinging to masks by now are generally the less well-educated and less well-off who have not been outside Thailand since 2020 (or indeed, ever). (4) I have had Thai people say to me “please DON’T wear a mask; you need to set an example and we need to wean Thai people off their fear and mask addiction because otherwise, when will it ever end?” Sorry to inject a note of realism. Brian and Carrie, I hope you enjoy your time in the country.
Thank you for posting this, Geoffrey. If you go back and watch the video, you will see that I said highly "recommended" which is a quote from the announcement on the train. Up here in Chaing Mai, there are fewer masks being used by locals and tourists than in Bangkok. We also understand that masks are not just used to prevent illness. Again, thank you for posting your opinions!! Cheers!!🍻
@@geoffreyhills4978thanks so much for clearing that up I've been planning my own trip and I'm from the US where that mask thing has finally fully died off and I was not looking forward to having to go back into that unwanted lifestyle again lol so glad it's not required in Thailand and now I cannot wait to visit
Welcome to my district !! Ari is pronounced "Ar - Ree" with a long vowel sound :) I have no clue why they spell it "Ari".. but that would do. Enjoy your stay in Bangkok !
Thank you! We loved our stay in Bangkok and staying in the Ari district. We highly recommend it that area stay to anyone coming to Bangkok. Thanks for watching 😊
All Thai people wish you all happiness. and enjoy traveling in Thailand Have memories and good times. Take care of yourself and be careful about travel safety.
Congrats on a great first video from Thailand! Your comments are bang on with respect to affordability. We are in Malaysia for a few weeks but looking forward to Chiang Mai at the end of January. Loving SE Asia!
I hopped on my Peloton and your video was so amazing, I'd gone 6 miles by the time it ended! And if I can say, you both seem so relaxed, I hope the Thai culture suits you both. And Carrie has a Tatt!!! Who knew. Very nice! As always, we wish you both were "our" personal tour guides, well, you are, sort of. Such fun! Please spill the beans and tell us if apartments in Bangkok are as cheap as everyone says!!!
Thank you - we're so happy you enjoyed it! We do know it shows in our videos if we are really excited and love a place we filmed in. I'm so happy that it comes through in this video as we are LOVING it here so far. We found the pricing in Bangkok a bit more than where we are in Chiang Mai, but we expected that coming in as it was the "big city". We will be doing our Thailand costs breakdown after stays in a few places, so that will be interesting in the end to see how it adds up in the end. Thanks again for watching :)
I am Indonesian and I love BKK. Good food, safe and easy to travel around! And the shops.. gosh! Thank you for the video both of you. You both are such a lovely couple ❤
Before this video, I wasn’t sure about visiting that city, but now I have changed my mind, thank you so much for sharing. BTW Carie, I would love to hear how you stay in shape eating in all the different countries, I’m straggling with that 🤦🏻♀️
We were hesitant for so long, but now so happy we took the leap. So far we are loving it and excited for the many months ahead to explore. Keeping trim while on the road isn't easy, that's for sure. No matter where we are I love a workout routine and try to improvise where needed. For instance our place in Croatia was in a building with 18th flights of stairs. That was my workout each morning, doing 3 sets. Thankfully here in Chiang Mai we have a gym in our building, so we plan to use that daily to work off the amazing food were eating every day 😊
Hi Brian and Carrie! In your video you mentioned your next stop is going to be Chiang Mai. My wife and I have been in Chiang Mai a little over a week. We think you will love it here. One little restaurant we recommend is called Gord Chiang Mai Kitchen. It’s in a beautiful setting, the food is great and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
This is awesome, thank you! We are loving it so far 😊, so quiet and peaceful in comparison to the bigger city. We will for sure give this place a try, thanks for the recommendation.
What an amazing market and area to spend the day. Food looked fresh and the drinks did look interesting, one that I would love to try. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Jamie for watching. We loved our time in Bangkok and excited to start our Chaing Mai adventure. We just arrived yesterday, and we are liking what we see so far. Cheers!!🍻
Welcome to Thailand... I'd like to recommend you to go to visit Thailand's highest tower : King Power Mahanakhon at 78th floor to see panoramic view skywalk with one of the fastest elevators in the world and walking around downtown Ratchaprasong to shopping with 9 famous shopping malls. If you have time the night scene is a must Find the experience with your dinner at Alangka Cruise Dinner Buffet on the Chao Praya river. Enjoy and have fun.
Nice start to the SE Asia trip and glad to note that you are doing good and enjoying it. The videos of the temple brings back memories of my trip in 2017. Will definitely visit one more time as more to see in Thailand. Have Fun. Cheers!
We are loving it so far and are excited to have so many months here to explore. The temples are so beautiful and so different than anything we have ever seen. Cheers 🍻
Loved watching this! We head to Thailand at the end of February for a month, so look forward to following your journey to see the 'must dos'. We had a 1 day taster in Pattaya when one of our cruises stopped in - loved it and can't wait to get back there!
It is absolutely beautiful here, we're loving it! And the food 😍. I got a elephant skirt already and Brian isn't far behind on the pants. How do you pass up a $4 cute skirt? Love you both ❤️❤️
Great to see you in Thailand. A bucket list place for me to be sure. I am anxious to see where you go. I had always thought of Thailand as a more beach destination. The City scenes are changing that view! Couldn't convince Carrie (even with the dare!) to eat bugs on sticks! Funny! The markets look overwhelming. Food selection I wouldn't know where to start! Brian needs that haircut! Whoa, he's a hippy! Glad to see that got addressed! Always fun with a language barrier! How did you choose the restaurant? Did you have a guidebook, or a google search of places nearby? How long are you in Bangkok? Seeing plenty of Carrie's ink that I have not noticed before. As always informative and interesting. A good overview of the places you have explored in Bangkok. Safe travels and enjoy.
Hi, Robert. We were in Bangkok for 8 days before we moved to Chaing Mai, another non-beach town. The district we are staying in has great street food and restaurants to choose from. We usually google the place that looks interesting and read the reviews. We will be hitting the beaches of Thailand, but we will spend a month in Vietnam first. And yes, I was desperate for a haircut!!! Thank you for supporting us!! Cheers!!!🍻
I’m so excited for your new series👏🏻👏🏻👍 While Thailand isn’t high on my list, I melt in hot, humid weather, I’m hopeful your adventures will make me brave enough to visit😂 Thank you friends🙏✌️ Safe travels🍻
We are really excited to be here!! We think we may be acclimated to warm weather because it hasn't been too bad. We have arrived in Chaing Mai, and it is only about 80 and not humid at all. Bangkok, however, was about 75% humidity. Thank you for watching!❤ Cheers!!🍻
Nice Vid, have spent quite a bit of time in Bangkok and Thailand in general. China town was too crowded for me. If you get a chance go to Tawandang German Brewery. Great food and a show you'll love it. May have to slip a few baht to get a good seat downstairs.
China town was quite busy, but so fun to walk through for the day. Thanks for the heads up on the German brewery, we will check that out next time we are in Bangkok. Thanks for watching!
Bangkok so easy to travel around, good transport and cheap and all the areas around Bangkok so easy to navigate and see different neighbourhoods. As well as most of the lovely Thais speak English. You tuber Paddy Doyle has some great vlogs as well on SE Asia. Those bamboo worms cooked up are ok, dip them in chilli sauce and crunchy 😅
So sorry for the late reply, we were off the grid for the last week on a family cruise ☺. We loved our time in Bangkok, and hope you enjoy it as well. Cheers 🍻
Hi, found your video on Bangkok by chance. We are booked to stay there in December and feel more confident with the detailed information you provided. Great tips when using the trains, and the cost of things. Thank you for uploading your travels. Just binged watched a number of your videos👍safe travels.
We can handle the heat if the people are friendly and we have found the people of Thailand are amazingly kind. Thank you for welcoming us to your country. Cheers!!🍻
Welcome to marble temple, the temple that King Rama 5 ,beloved king of Thais, ordered to build to be place for peace of mind and talking Dhamma with Buddhist monks because when he was free time, he will come to this place. In this temple, there was one beautiful house situated in the central of the temple, called “prakuti” which he used to stayed here for 15 day when he was a monk before he ascended to the throne.
Thank you very much guys ! I watched your video about the medical check up : love it. Are you planning on staying to Thailand for long term? Did you use to be in Portugal? Anyway, let us know if Thailand is a better place to live or retire. Once again thank you very much!
We are here for 45 days and will return next month for another 30 days, we really enjoy Thailand. We spent a couple of months last year in Portugal and loved it as well. Thank you for watching our channel!
Hi Brian and Carrie, so excited to see you traveling again! Are you going to be eating out more in Thailand over cooking? It seems it is cheaper than European prices. 😊
Wat Pho is an old temple south of the Grand Palace. It is also known also as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha built by King Rama III in 1832. The King also decreed that traditional Thai massage and traditional medicine be inscribed on stone tablets to deseminate the knowledge to the general public. The famous Thai spa and massage are believed to originate from such stone inscription. King Rama III was also known as Merchant Prince because when he was still a prince he conducted trade with China and asked the ship captain to bring back stone sculptures such as Chinese deities, mythical beasts as stabilizing balance in the ship's belly. These stone sculptures are now commonly seen at Wat Pho, Wat Arun and the Grand Palance. When President Obama had only one day to tour a Thai temple, US Embassy recommended this temple due to its unique architecture, history and beautiful reclining Buddha.
We were there in November 2019. We spent a lot more money, we did a 19 day small group (13) of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. We try to travel about 6 months of each year.
Good to see your new vlogs. How is the weather there ? Is it humid and sultry ? When we were in Cambodia during Dec timeframe way back it was too hot and humid. Have fun in Thailand. Cheers 👍
Another great video. For some reason, I'm really noticing Carrie's skirts. Must be after the packing video so I'll be going back and getting those links. Enjoy all the sights and sounds. Safe travels!
Hi Janell! Yes, the skirts were a new addition when we were just home. I put the link in the description of our packing for Southeast Asia video. I'm loving wearing skirts in the hot humid weather and these skirts have been fantastic so far. No wrinkles (even when rolled in a ball 😂) and they dry in no time, not to mention take up no space! Thanks for watching :)
Thank you guys! We are loving it here so far and so excited to having many months in front of us to explore. The 7-11 scene is pretty cool - one on every corner and have so many fun snacks 😍
Hello Carrie and Brian, we have been following you guys "almost" religiously ;-) since your travels in Portugal, and needless to say, We adore both of you for your Simplicity, being Raw (not pretentious) and above all, for being so informative in practical terms for everyday Joe & Jane. I have lived in many parts of our beautiful planet, including 3 years in Southeast Asia (mainly Malaysia, and Philippines) so, you two are up for a treat with jungle-like gorgeous greenery and cheap food if you don't mind the humidity that is. ;-) But watch out for blood sucking leeches everywhere if you get into rivers, dense greens, etc. By the way, the next time you decide to head to Lagos, let me know, cuz we would love to host two of you as our guests in our little villa, and Yes, we Do Serve Beeeeeeeeer! 🙂
Hi, Ali! We would love to head back to Lagos sometime soon, we love the area. We also love Thailand and planning the rest of our trip. We may be heading to Malaysia for the months of April and May. We are not exactly sure where yet but that's the plan. Thank you for the comments and for watching our channel. We really appreciate the support! Cheers!!🍻
I highly recommend Chatuchak Market. Wednesday and Thursday is the plant and flower market. The atmosphere is different from Saturday and Sunday.🌺🌸🌼🌼🌻🪷🌹🌴🌵
I just LOVE you guys! I appreciate your warmth and humor. I like that way you tease each other. Adorable! Keep it up. I hope some day we will be in the same place at the same time.
love the video guys glad you are in south east asia Thanks you guys so much for the resources and videos on Portugal I will be going there for the first time this summer cheers to the Algrave thanks please keep the videos coming and keep me up to date on the BEER prices in southeast asia thanks again be safe and GOD Bless
Thank you, Jeff!! We will be back in the Algarve again someday, it is our favorite place so far. Beer prices here in Thailand are a bit higher than we expected!! 😨 We will cover that in an upcoming video for sure. Thank you again for watching our channel! Cheers!!🍻
Hi, Joshua. We had read that we needed an out going ticket while on arrival. We were all prepared with the information and all they were asking for was passport and boarding ticket from the flight you just arrived on. That was just our experience, better to be safe than sorry. Thanks for watching and safe travels! Cheers 🍻
When you go back to Europe you might consider going to Turkey. Transport costs actually seem less than Thailand and food might be cheaper or on par. Lodging is probably more expensive in Turkey though.
You guys have inspired us to get started travelling. One question we have about the AirBnB lodging. Do you look for or have you encountered any hidden cameras?
My husband and I watch a lot of youtube and have never subscribed or liked. You are the first!! You inspired me to convince my husband to travel to Thailand. We have NEVER flown that far, coming from the US (NY) and have never traveled longer than 2 weeks. Well......we are going for 28 days, in/out of Bangkok. Now I'm tasked with coming up with a economical itinerary. Any advice? I know it costs more to change locations. Chiang Mai and Koh Samui are on the list. We have watched all your Thailand videos.
Hi Rebecca! Thank you that makes us so happy to hear ☺️. How exciting, we really loved Thailand and plan to come back next year. It does cost more to hop more often but it's somewhat necessary to see the country. Chiang Mai was still one of our favorites and the flight there from Bangkok was easy and affordable on Air Asia. Flying to Koh Samui is a bit more and could really add up if you're only planning to go for a week, for us being there a month was easier to swallow. Phuket (Kamala Beach was our favorite) was also great and typically a cheaper place to hop. Bangkok surprised us how much we really enjoyed it, so much great food and plenty to see and do. Safe travels ☺️ and thanks so much for watching.
This season in Thailand is suitable for traveling in the north. If you like the sea, go to the east, don't go to the south because it rains often during monsoons.
Super fun to see you stretch your wings further afield. If you get on great in Thailand I totally recommend Cambodia. I stayed for 2 mobths there and its such a friendly and beautiful place. Rustic but so much fun and achingly beautiful! Laos also! Take it easy!
Yes, we will be getting to Cambodia and Laos when we return next year. We decided to go to Vietnam and Malaysia this round. We like to stay in one spot for longer stretches of time so those to counties will have to wait until next time. 🍻
Nice video. Love how many TH-camrs use the title, "we didn't expect this". I sort of can relate cause first time in Thailand almost 17yrs ago my only reference was Kickboxer 😂 After traveling there for many years I'm humbled at how much more organized and superior life is compared to north america 😊
We had an idea that Bangkok would be incredibly chaotic. While it was busy it is very organized and easy to navigate. We plan on returning next spring for another short stay. Thank you for watching!! Cheers!!🍻
Another great video.... Only a few months left and we start our adventure.. any issues with airlines and your away carry on? When you travel do you get your currency on arrival or do you purchase some beforehand? Do you guys use the Charles Schwab ATM card we tried in Europe and still we were charged a ridiculous fee.... Larry and Minnie....
Thank you :). We haven't had any issues with our Away luggage. Our flights to SE Asia on ANA airlines went smoothly and so far here in Thailand, we've flown AsiaAir once, without issue. But, we do know the time will come when we have to check our carry-on, not due to size but just that the budget airlines in this neck of the woods are very strict. For cash, we always take out money from the ATM when we arrive at a new destination. We use Charles Schwab, and they refund atm fees at the end of the month, so possibly your refund came later?
I got home to the UK two days ago and I'm still gutted I love Thailand my favourite country by far
The best country in southeast Asia ❤️

Hi guys!! Our next video is all about the food here in Chaing Mai. You will really need to come and try it all, there's so much to choose from. 😀
🙏🇹🇭🙏👍👍👍⚘️
I have always wanted to go to Thailand. Thanks for sharing your travels

Nice to see you again Brian and Carrie!
Nice video and btw, nice haircut Brian!
Cheers 🍻
Thank you!! 😅
Thank you so much for the recommendations ❤️
Nice start to the SE Asia trip and glad to note that you are doing good and enjoying it. The videos of the temple brings back memories of my trip in 2017. Will definitely visit one more time as more to see in Thailand. Have Fun. Cheers!
We are loving it so far and are excited to have so many months here to explore. The temples are so beautiful and so different than anything we have ever seen. Cheers 🍻
Enjoyed your video. You are curious and explore but also very respectful of local culture.
Thank you! We very much enjoyed Bangkok and can see staying a few days when we return to SE Asia in early 2024.

Hi, Jan we will be in SE Asia for 5 months. We plan to go to Vietnam in February before returning to Thailand. Thank you for watching!
Cheers!!🍻
Loved watching this! We head to Thailand at the end of February for a month, so look forward to following your journey to see the 'must dos'. We had a 1 day taster in Pattaya when one of our cruises stopped in - loved it and can't wait to get back there!
Thank you for following us Al and Deb! We are really enjoying our time here. Safe travels!!
Cheers!!!🍻
Welcome to Thailand !!! Hopefully both of you have a good times here ! God bless you all ! Good luck.

OMG that place is fookn gorgous and amazing looking!! And yes, BUY THE ELEPHANT PANTS! Love you both!🐘🦣😘❤
It is absolutely beautiful here, we're loving it! And the food 😍. I got a elephant skirt already and Brian isn't far behind on the pants. How do you pass up a $4 cute skirt? Love you both ❤️❤️
Fantastic! You two are living a dream most will never experience, enjoy! And nice hair cut Brian 😜👍, cheers 🍻
Thank you, El Ricko!
New subscriber. Enjoyed the vlog and especially the prices you provided.
Thank you! We are just getting started here in SE Asia. Glad that you are joining us!
Cheers!!🍻
Cheers!!!🍻
Enjoyed your video brought back many memories of our weeks in this city
Thank you for watching, Joan!
Cheers!!🍻
I’m so excited for your new series👏🏻👏🏻👍 While Thailand isn’t high on my list, I melt in hot, humid weather, I’m hopeful your adventures will make me brave enough to visit😂 Thank you friends🙏✌️ Safe travels🍻
We are really excited to be here!! We think we may be acclimated to warm weather because it hasn't been too bad. We have arrived in Chaing Mai, and it is only about 80 and not humid at all. Bangkok, however, was about 75% humidity. Thank you for watching!❤
Cheers!!🍻
This was exactly what we found as well. We loved our time in Bangkok and highly recommend every one visit 😊
great video guys.Thailand is on our bucket list
Thank you! We are loving it so far ❤️
Loved this video! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching 😊
Looking forward to experiencing this with my family. Useful information shared again. Cheers!
So sorry for the late reply, we were off the grid for the last week on a family cruise ☺. We loved our time in Bangkok, and hope you enjoy it as well. Cheers 🍻
@@BrianandCarrie No worries about the late reply. I am happy you guys are having a great time over there. Onwards and i[wards!
My daughter-in-law is from Chiang Mai. I can't wait to see it from your perspective.
Hi, found your video on Bangkok by chance. We are booked to stay there in December and feel more confident with the detailed information you provided. Great tips when using the trains, and the cost of things. Thank you for uploading your travels. Just binged watched a number of your videos👍safe travels.
You will have a fantastic time in Bangkok!! Thank you for watching our channel and taking the time to comment!! Safe travels! ❤
Welcome to Thailand, although my country's weather is too hot but our heart are warm. Thank you to select my country as your destination.
We can handle the heat if the people are friendly and we have found the people of Thailand are amazingly kind. Thank you for welcoming us to your country.
Cheers!!🍻
Brilliant video. Thank you. It looks stunning!
Thank you, we're loving it so far.
Great video! Best advice I ever got from a well traveled friend - if you’re looking for a fun spot to hang out just find the Irish pub!
That is great advice!! We may use that quote the next time we see an Irish pub!! 😀
Cheers!!🍻
My husband agrees-bring back the Sonics! Looks like the market was fun!
YES!! Bring back our Sonics, please!! 😆 Thank you for watching!
We will be eating out much more while in SE Asia. We will be doing a street food video in the VERY near future. 😀
Great video, production, quality, editing, information.
Thank you, Cherie!!
Cheers!!🍻
Thanks for your video! I had a summer internship in Bangkok in ‘96. I miss the street food!
We are really enjoying the food!! Thank you for watching!!
Cheers!!🍻
Welcome to Thailand. Your musical selections are nice superior
Thank you so much for watching - we are so happy to be here and to have the opportunity to explore this beautiful country.
The night river dinners on the boats are a good time too, the Power tower is good fun too.
Cheers 👍
The weather in Bangkok was in the low 90s and quite humid on most days. We didn't mind it as though because we were coming from cold and rain ;)
welcoming to Thailand 😍😍😍
.
Thank you!!♥♥
Interesting city Bankgok, keep having a blast!!

I really enjoyed watching this video. I like that you share the prices.Thank you.
Thank you for watching ☺️
Another great video. For some reason, I'm really noticing Carrie's skirts. Must be after the packing video so I'll be going back and getting those links. Enjoy all the sights and sounds. Safe travels!
Hi Janell! Yes, the skirts were a new addition when we were just home. I put the link in the description of our packing for Southeast Asia video. I'm loving wearing skirts in the hot humid weather and these skirts have been fantastic so far. No wrinkles (even when rolled in a ball 😂) and they dry in no time, not to mention take up no space! Thanks for watching :)
Great video and thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Wowwwww guys this video is awesome! That market was overwhelming to say the least! Thanks for sharing this with us. p.s. 7-11?! 😮
Hope you are having a good time in Thailand. :)
We are loving Thailand 😊. Thank you for watching.
Great vid
Welcome to Thailand 🇹🇭 😊
Thank you! We are loving our time here!
Cheers 🍻
Great video!
Thank you!!
Looks amazing, I wish I could go some day.
I just LOVE you guys! I appreciate your warmth and humor. I like that way you tease each other. Adorable! Keep it up. I hope some day we will be in the same place at the same time.
Thank you, Carrie. We very much appreciate the support. We would love to meet up someday! ❤
love the video guys glad you are in south east asia Thanks you guys so much for the resources and videos on Portugal I will be going there for the first time this summer cheers to the Algrave thanks please keep the videos coming and keep me up to date on the BEER prices in southeast asia thanks again be safe and GOD Bless
Thank you, Jeff!! We will be back in the Algarve again someday, it is our favorite place so far. Beer prices here in Thailand are a bit higher than we expected!! 😨 We will cover that in an upcoming video for sure. Thank you again for watching our channel!
Cheers!!🍻
The 1001th TH-cam blogger in Bangkok. I hope you add some new information to your viewers.
We hope we did. Thank you for watching!!
Cheers!!!🍻
Welcome 🙏 to Thailand 🇹🇭👫🌺💐🌷🙏👍🏖
Thank you ☺️
Did you need to show any next destination or return home tickets when you landed in Thailand? I'm hearing different things from different channels
Turkey is definitely high on our list! I do believe the housing will be a bit higher but the food costs look so similar. Thanks for watching!
Brian makes me laugh. Chang mai is somewhere I have wanted to visit too. Can’t wait to see that video as well
HA!! 😀 Thank you. We just arrived in Chiang Mai and really enjoying it so far.
Yay, you two made it to Thailand! I'm not sure we would try the insects either!
Can't wait to see more! BTW, we just made it to the Algarve!
We did make it and are having a great time!! Hopefully, you two love the Algarve as much as we do. We look forward to seeing a video soon. 😀
Cheers!!🍻
Thanks for you like Thailand. Welcome back to thàiland again
Thank you for watching!!!❤
Lol , I’ve only seen four videos, and every time you have a mango smoothie :) they must be amazing!
She loves those mango smoothies!!😆Thank you for watching our channel!!
Loved this video, and I'm looking forward to the Chang Mai episode. I'd really like to see you eating insects at some point, though. ;)
We will do a food tour video and see what bugs we can find that we are willing to try. 😜
Cheers!!🍻
@@BrianandCarrie awesome! Can't wait! :)
Rock Paper Scissors, winner gets to choose a bug for the loser to eat 😂
You guys have inspired us to get started travelling. One question we have about the AirBnB lodging. Do you look for or have you encountered any hidden cameras?
We haven't found any yet! 😀
Welcome to my Mother land hope you guys have a nice trip.
Thank you so much, Thailand is a beautiful country with wonderful people 😊
So so interested in this leg of your travel
Bangkok wasn't on my must see list, but now it is. It looks like a lot of visual feast and affordable touring.
Bangkok has so many things to see and do. You could spend a month there and find something new every day.
ยินดีต้อนรับสู่ประเทศไทยครับ ขอให้เที่ยวให้สนุกมากๆนะครับ
Thank you, Arisa!
Cheers 🍻
Ari is great. Make sure to see queen sirikit park.
@@BrianandCarrie please remind me which video you discussed vaccinations. It’s a challenge try to go back and find. Thanks!!
Yes, it is 16 things to know before you go. Here is the link. 😁

This season in Thailand is suitable for traveling in the north. If you like the sea, go to the east, don't go to the south because it rains often during monsoons.
We have just arrived in Chaing Mai and will be visiting for a month before heading to Vietnam. Thank you for the tips!
Cheers!!🍻
I sort of can relate cause first time in Thailand almost 17yrs ago my only reference was Kickboxer 😂
After traveling there for many years I'm humbled at how much more organized and superior life is compared to north america 😊
We had an idea that Bangkok would be incredibly chaotic. While it was busy it is very organized and easy to navigate. We plan on returning next spring for another short stay. Thank you for watching!!
Cheers!!🍻
@@BrianandCarrie make your way south to Trang, Songkhla and Hat Yai, food paradise, you won't regret it!
Welcome welcome and welcome thank you so much for sharing
Thank you, we're are excited to be here.
Well safe trip kab
Hello Brian and Carrie, welcome to Thailand. You can walk up to you, because it's not expensive in foreigners to you
Thank you, we're so happy to be here 😊
Fantastic vlog…❤
Thank you!
High point of each month is seeing where Brian gets his haircut.
Haha - it's always a fun experience to see what each new location brings 😂.
