Yeah a couple people have said that. Put the trolling motor on high, cover water and throw it around shallow cover. Get around bluegill beds even better. There are certain docks bluegills will spawn behind or look for shallow coves.
Just like the dark sleeper ive found using braid to leader really helps with hook ups. I used 30lb braid to 17 or 20lb floro on a 893 nrx. They like it hopped also like stroking a jig on deeper rocks
Great tip for blue gill spawn. I'll be putting it to work tomorrow! Like the scent info too. The Nories scent seems hard to find outside of ebay. Do you just buy online? Any recommendations? Thanks and keep up great vedios.
Awesome! I'll be putting that gill to work today myself. Let me know how you make out. Every so often the hook up tackle will have the eco gear, but thats about it. Ebay is easy and prices are not bad.
I'm convinced. What is the name of the manufacturer of the lure? (Bait)? Roughly how much does it cost? Where do you buy those? Thanks for answering my questions in advance. 😊
Its the Megabass sleeper gill. They are around $9. a piece. You can buy them at a lot of different stores that sell bass tackle. If you want to buy it online just google it.
See what happens when you are specifically targeting bass feeding on bluegills. This is a pattern some people dont give enough credit too and its truly amazing.
Yes that would help. The one thing I forgot to go over is you can get a lot of reaction bites by knocking that thing into cover, dock posts, or dragging it over grass etc. It designed to be "weedless" the top fin covers the hook. I have messed around with bending the hook and even a little the point stick out. So that can work it depends on where you are fishing it. Glad you brought this up because I wanted to tell people to bang this lure into things, so I hope they read this.
Great video!! Tons of good information for a shorter video. Tight lines 🎣🎣🎣
Thank you! Catch em up!
Thanks for sharing the juice. I have one just used it once but that will change lol.
Throw it around bluegill beds and you will be buying more LOL.
Thanks man
@@richardkeller6940 My pleasure
Going g to give it a try. Had these for a while but haven’t thrown them. Looks like that was a mistake.

Thanks for the information. I could see the braid to leader working nicely. I have stroked the dark sleeper but never the gill, I will give it a shot.
@@Ijustwanttofish2024How’s the dark sleeper?
@@bushidocode4773 Its good but I use it more like a jig pitching and flipping or a football jig slowly dragging.

I almost bought one a few days ago. I ended up getting the dark sleeper instead.
Thats a good bait just used differently.
