- My custom Jerry Can idea allows for quick and hassle free changing. This is my sink & tap install. A big step forward in the van for sure.
See you down the road....

Brilliant mate I like the way you think outside the box and not just follow what everybody else does.
Thanks a lot mate. I love trying to make my own version of stuff if i can. Always enjoy it more when you've done your own thing i find....
A big plus having running water in the kitchen, nicely done 👍
Yeah man. There're good days and bad days in the van - this was a good day for sure. (Apart from having to chip away at my lovely worktop to fit the bloody tap😃) Anyway, no leaks so far. Thanks for your comment.
Happy new year....See you down the road...

Absolutely brilliant Jon the sink, tap looks really good buddy, i've ordered my sink but wasn't sure on the tap but really like urs with the micro switch built in to it..
Have a Happy New Year Jon & The Family.
Cheers. All the best. Thanks for sticking with it mate.
Excellent idea with the water can and as for the U bend on the grey water that bend will hold water over winter and go stagnant
I've been thinking that if you have a similar valve on the grey water side, you could switch it off to isolate the tank, and any smells, when the sinks not in use.
@boatingmanchester4814 Ah ok good point... Cheers for that mate, i might have to rethink that bit after all then... Thanks for the help.
@@iainhenderson8751 Yeah, maybe a connection system like i have on the drinking water would be handy. But the black drain pipe is different to the clear hose pipe stuff so im not sure about valves/quick connects for the grey water side of things.
If anyone has a cool drain pipe set up - let us know - i'm all ears.
Cheers mate.
I've really enjoyed this build, and don't want it to come to an end. Very impressive Mr J D 😎😎
Wow thanks so much for your comment. To be honest, it takes hours to put these 20min videos together and it's really cool to see that maybe a few people out there might enjoy them.
Happy new year......See you down the road...

Hi. Just came across your channel, binge watching at the moment. Really enjoying your stuff. Could I ask where you got your sink from, looks a good size. Thanks
Hi mate. Thanks very much. I'm glad your enjoying the series.
Sink was from ebay here www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284365428694?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Vo101s_3QaS&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=cP8V1KZiQ6-&var=585888803410&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Im happy with it so far, it's been great.
All the best.... See you down the road... JD
Hi Jon, clever idea with the quick disconnects for the water. I guess if you had a waste container with a tap at the bottom to empty it you could do something similar with that. Can i ask where you get the sink, pump and tap from ? keep up the good work .....Cheers
Hi mate. Yeah i know what your saying. I'll see how the drain goes and if i come up a better idea - these things evolve as you go don't they eh.
Sure, all from ebay again....
