- What is this White Stuff on my Bromeliads Leaves??? Sometime when taking a tour of your bromeliad collection, or when at your favorite Bromeliad nursery, you may see a bromeliad with white patches on some of the leaves. Is it an insect, or fungus? Does that bromeliad have a disease? Let’s take a look and find out! Taking care of our bromeliads is really easy, so come on everybody, ”Let’s get growing and have some fun!”
Thank you!!!👋
Thanks for the information Rusty. You're awesome
This information is very very usefull, thanks Rusty🇹🇹
Thanks so much, I really appreciate you watching IBT!

Wait...what! Well there ya go!!! I've seen this on mine, but never really thought it was bad...thought they were thick spider webbing! Well done sir!!

These are fantastic videos. Thanks for doing an amazing job. I'd like to suggest a topic for one of your video: "THE COLORS OF THE BLOOMS". I bought so many Aechmeas from you last year and now they are blooming and they are spectacular. I bought the plants just with leaves and no flowers. The AEC ZEBRINA PINK is in bloom now and it is gorgeous. The flowers are pink and yellow. I'd like to find more bromeliads that have a similar bloom. Orthers are red and orange and gorgeous too. Could you show us some bromeliads with the blooms for me to select some more, please? The large Aechmeas or Hohenbergias
Great idea for a vid! Because different species and hybrids all have different bloom schedules and maturities, it may take a while to compile enough inflos for a vid, but we'll start to collect some nice ones. In the meantime, the Florida Council of Bromeliad Societies has a huge photo index on line that has many pages that show inflos. (search FCBS photo index) Thanks again for the great suggestion, appreciate you watching!
@@islandbreezetropicals1276 Fantastic!! It is worth to wait so I could buy more Bromeliads from Sundance. Sincerely Thanks. Your Friday videos are the highlight of my week.
@@AT-sq5sk Thank you so much!
Sir what should I do to my bromeliads that the cup leaves is dying thanks hoping for your help God bless 🙏
Would love to help, but diagnosing problems is difficult without seeing the plant. Some questions... 1.what is the age of the plant, i.e. has the plant gone into flower? 2. Is it newer or older leaves that are dying? 3. What substrate do you have the plant growing in? $. how are you growing the plant, in the ground or in a pot? 5. What is the sun exposure your plant is growing in?
@@islandbreezetropicals1276 1).1 year +...yes gone into flowers but it's last year?
2).the newer one..
3). I'm using chop coconut husk and charcoal..
4).all my bromeliads are in pots
5).not so exposed to sun ,, it's under a mango tree then net...thanks for the reply sir I highly appreciate it God bless 🙏
@@SanRamos-d1o If the brom has already finished it flowering sequence, it will the start to decline after pupping.
@islandbreezetropicals1276 would love your help. I watered my bromelaid and a few days later I see white fuzzy stuff in the cup. The white stuff is more fuzzy then your video. Is it the same thing? Thanks for your help!
My cryptanthus had white fluffy stuff. 😢
