Your pups might not necessarily be smaller, but depending on your growing conditions it might take a bit longer to get to size. Thanks so much for watching!
One tip I use with pups that I may have broken off accidentally or if there's no roots is to do what you did, but rather than putting in a soil medium I simply place the pup into a section of a larger mature broms cup section and leave it for a few weeks. Over this time roots will grow from the meristem and then you can pot up or mount! The pups aren't submerged, just low enough in a 'tank' to allow it to take on water and I don't fill the pup's tank either so as to not induce rot. Tks again for another video, Rusty!
That is an excellent question! I have never tried that type of application, but that might be a good thing to experiment with in a video. If you do decide to try it, use a diluted mixture and be sure to flush the tank with fresh water shortly after...and I hope you will get in touch and let us know your results! Thanks so much, I appreciate you watching IBT!
Thk you for the nice video
Thank you so much for watching!
How old are the pups ! They look a good size ! I'm guessing us in different zones (uk) that our pups might be smaller ?. Great channel Rusty 👍🏼

Hi Rusty 👋 I have a Q? Can I spray my Miracle-Gro orchid spray mist on my Bromeliads that are beginning to pup? TYIA
