I used to run out of steam to knit the second sock in a pair but that completely changed when I followed The Crazy Sock Lady two at a time tutorial. Game changer! It takes less time and I have a pair finished at once. Super gratifying! Bravo on 20K!!

I love my 12” chiao goo needles for sleeves. There is a little angle at the end of the needle and are perfect for sleeves! And I do go up a size,but that just might be me.

I have been watching your podcasts for a while. Just would like to say how much I appreciate your thoroughness in evaluating patterns and yarn. I especially liked the beanie podcast. I have a grandson going away to college next fall and have decided to knit him several beanies in different colors for him to wear on cold days to come. I will use one of my go to hat patterns and am deciding which two of yours I will use. I might suggest the Sockhead hat, free on Ravelry. It is forgiving in size and style with either a fold up brim or having it unfolded for a more slouchy hat. Takes one skein of sock yarn so a good stash diving project.

Love watching your videos! I notice that a lot of times you substitute yarns rather than using the yarn the pattern calls for. I would love to hear from you on how to pick the right yarn/tips for making sure gauge is correct, etc.
