Sometimes receiving your UEI will take 1-5 business days. In my case 1/2 day... Don't think that you did something wrong. When you receive an email saying incident. They just need to review your documents. Your on the right path.

so i need an LLC or some type of taxable business that the IRS knows about? i cant just register as an individual just to win some bids and then get an official LLC or registered business after i get some capital? because i am at that step to register for a UEI on sam.gov and i put a physical address but i left the top two blank (legal business name) and ( doing business as(optional)) , and i can not continue because the "next" button is not highlighted for me to click on. is there anyway i can still bid and start this business ?

So I'm following your step by step process getting registered.... got my UEI... kept going following your instructions, got to question 39 and the URL goes down. Tried to sign back in and it said Sam is doing some maintenance so I'll have to get back to it another time. Smh. Almost there too. But I'll get it lol. This just happened This Sat morning... Mar 23

I was just following along & applying-the part were you instruct folks to take their ein information off of their IRS forms-I Don't remember anything being stated that you had to apply for an EIN to do this. Am I able to use my social instead?
at 8:00 You want 12/31 (December 31st) for your fiscal year end date (month/day). It does not include the year in the date (because it happens every year).

My EIN and LLC has a virtual address. Will I still be able to use my virtual address as my mailing address and my home address as my physical address?

I am having the biggest road block ever. My entity registration in SAM failed the IRS TIN Match process twice. I called the IRS and they told me to put the name of the entity where it ask for Taxpayer name for the IRS Consent Section. They also told me to wait 5 weeks for my EIN to be updated in their system because I have a very new EIN. Did anyone have to wait 5 weeks. I will keep trying.

I have had a Cage Code for 2 years. I got my Cage Code the NEXT DAY NO JOKE. I was on my way to getting certified as a Black woman owned business. The hiccup came when I went to register with the local city. Which who were VERY RUDE AND NASTY, Fort Lauderdale. After doing everything I was supposed to they NEVER got back with me to tell me that everything was a go. Just a few months ago I got a bill telling me I owe taxes. I have emails of the transaction between us and how they NEVER RESPONDED TO ME. So I just forgot about the certification because of it. So should fight this or just go and pay those $600⁉️☹️

I am glad I watched this. Now I have to go in and change a few things, I watched the video from a year ago and it was not as detailed. I messed up on the Business name and name on my IRS form, I think I changed it correctly, but already submitted the form. I have to wait until it comes back or is approved to change the Naics code and Credit Card to yes, correct? Though it says update nothing happens, so I think I have to wait. Anyway, thank you for this. Just ordered your books so I am on point from here on out. Thank you!

Hi kizzy thank you for this video, while filling out the registration I selected the option of EIN than TIN Because that's what I have from Irs. But Sam is trying to validate my irs information using TIN and that came back as fail. I wanna know if I wasn't supposed to use EIN number?

@@joshuacharlery5826 I did a couple days later, I received an email from the Federal Service Desk (FSD) because I needed to make a correction and validate the information I put in for it to match, and once I did I was good to go and move on. It took about 24-36 hours for the entire process. Hope that helps.

Simply get a physical address. Use your home.

Legalzoom listed my home address as my business address lol. The IRS has my home address as listed as well

What does this mean?

From the email I got confirming registration..
That doesn’t apply and ignore it.
