Kizzy, You may want to say exactly that in order to be able to do business with the Feds, you have to be a certified company, which is not a 2-3 day process. It took us 4-5 months to be certified and we are still waiting for our certification with the airport commission. Dont cut corners on your presentation because it is a long process, yes it is worth it in the long run, totally agreed with you.

im a subcontractor/consulting in construction and marketing, if not doing the work through mu company myself. I am not a fan of the whole biding process. its structured to be a hassle. plus i have to run the numbers of whats needed, and so in, so to now go through all the bs with the bidding, its a hassle. I like clients that will pay what i want, and if they add to it. its a win win, so she is telling you good info.

In regards to a solicitation for veterans but the company we find with the middleman strategy is a commercial company NOT registered with the government and definitely doesn’t have a veterans designation. How do we fulfill the contract with a commercial company or will we HAVE TO find a company on the SAM?

Not all want a deposit and if your sub bails it’s on you as the business owner to fix it. No different from Amazon.

If with the VA, you will need another certified SDVOSB. They are listed on Sam and on the dynamic small business search.
