By far my favorite song from any Zelda game. Your lead was perfect but my favorite part has always been the rhythm section. It seems easy to play. You should do a video on that part 😁
When I was in my youth, about 85 years ago (give or take a few 60 years or so), I loved the Legend of Zelda on my NES and SNES. As I get old...er , I have lost interest in gaming, but loved the music in the recent Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of time, so much, that I bought a couple (Ocarinas). Thanks for this video (very well done... you have a natural talent for teaching), but I can't stress the following enough. THANKYOU for the picture graphics in the back with the proper finger placements. Other than my own opinions, the Ocarina is the first wind instrument I have had the pleasure of using. Thanks!!!!!!!

Been snowed in since January on top of quarantine thanks to your videos and a lil practice when I can spare a few minutes at my desk. I've gone from knowing next to nothing about music to playing this song just by the notes I have jotted down on a piece of scrap paper. Thanks for these ! I've wanted to learn since I was a kid in the 90s playing Ocarina of time and now I finally can jam!

I don't play instrument at all but I love instruments so much. I've got the same Legend of Zelda Ocarina as yours at the top left of your video. Sadly, when I tried to follow your tutorial, my high-D note is not high enough and just doesn't sound like yours. I wondered why... *cries* P.S.: The moment I played this song, strong winds and rain hit and my place lost internet connection for an hour so I have to comment after the internet connection comes back xD
I already learned the song! You're a really good teacher, probably the best on yt for the ocarina. I am still having trouble with the high D but I think it's because my ocarina is plastic and feels harder to use. I keep running out of breathe when I try to play those high notes too. Ordered a smaller ceramic zelda ocarina from stl. Might work better for me, sound better too.

Hey, sorry I didn't get to you before. I am planning to do a double ocarina tutorial, but probably not until later down the road :( STL Ocarina has great material on learning the double ocarina on their website though that you can use in the meantime. Having just played the double ocarina just a bit myself, I would just concentrate on the right hand holes that are further in (does that make sense?) which is the lower octave. I saw this girl, Lena Leclaire play a double ocarina and figured I'll give it a try (you know, before even learning how to play a 12 hole or a 6 hole ocarina), and switching between the 2 windways back and forth and the toneholes proved to be quite a challenge for me. Lena Leclaire doesnt seem to be around anymore, though. 🤷♂️ Hey, thx for the advice and thank you so much for the chart. I'll probably go with your advice. The second chamber seems confusing. It goes through the chromatic scale but is missing 3 notes? 🤔🤔 Well, anyway. Thank you so much.

Same problem here, high D Just dont sound right to me :/ i also got a plastic ocarina but even with my ceramic ocarina i still have the same issue
