Hopefully Tik Tok will be banned.
순환호흡방법및 훈련법강의 부탁드립니다 취미생활 하는데 어렵네요 플루티스트&바이올리니스트 파이팅 💕
Tik Tok is a social media that CCP (Chinese Communist Party) uses to influence young people and demoralize them. There are lies and no wonder the US may ban TikTok.
Please refrain from using God's name in vain.
That's me on the cover of the video!! With the contrabass flute 😆 5:12
Oh wow it is! You play very good
Dani!! Was looking for you in the comments 💜

You’re great! My dream is to play contrabass flute, even though my main instrument right now is euphonium :)

Dear you are amazing! I loved your video! Thank you for letting me freestyle with you 😁
Girl you were so goooodd

Love that she was genuinely surprised to be on TikTok. There's obviously a reason why she is world renowned.
did she just hit a beat while playing the flute wtf that was so sick
The piece Lizzo played is called Carnival of Venice, its a beautiful piece I played last year, I would 100% recommend
Her voice is so soft and calm and elegant 💖
Yes, Yasmine is a real gift to the world. An angel.
"Beginner" vs "Professional" flute. I started on a student rental at 10 years old in school. My dad bought me a nicer (Armstrong Emeritus 21 solid silver) student flute when I reached hight school because I didn't think I could play an open hole flute. I quit playing in school when I was 16 and only played for my own pleasure and sometimes an obligato when asked by someone. When I was 30, I had an accident that severed ligaments, nerves, and the radial artery in my left hand. After 6 months of extensive physical therapy, I had about 95% use of my hand. I could no longer play the guitar because the nerves actually help press the fingers on the strings against the frets and I couldn't do it. What I could do is push the keys of my flute down, but since I have no feeling in three of my fingers on that hand, I cannot feel the open holes. I am so grateful I kept my student flute and can still play. I not only play for my own pleasure, but in a wonderful community band (Clearfield, Utah). I am 68 years old. I enjoy your content very much and am in awe of your talent and ability. Thank you for sharing.
I’m so happy that you can keep playing and doing what you enjoy!
happy you can still play Angie
Armstrong was my first student flute, too. :) They don't make them anymore. Terrible to hear about your accident... but great that you can still play!
Now, are there some people that just can't circular breathe? Like I know the technique of floating on my back, but I can't float. Lol
Yea if you have sinusitis and your damn nose is always blocked.
@@crescentkwsame 😅
Circular breathing is more difficult on flute than on other woodwind instruments, because there's no resistance.
@@rloomis3interesting
How the hell do u breath in while blowing the flute? Black magic I say.
She's like a very young sweet grandma that everyone deserves ❤
Hi Jasmine!!! I recently discovered you and you are a joy to watch and listen to❤❤❤ love from Australia!!🇦🇺
I agree, the flute is one instrument that takes much air to make sound. When I was in high school I played the French Horn. We had a competition on which instrument could play a note the longest. The Oboe and then the French Horn played the longest in our symphonic band. One of my sisters played the Flute, and another played the Clarinet. I was proud that I could played a note for almost 2 minutes.
yoooo the beatbox flute was so cool!! my little sister plays the flute and I have to show her that :)
lovely tone to the voice and gesture of genuinely listening to others and making kind comments 🥰
I used to play the flute. At one school concert, I played the bass flute - but ours looked like the Alto but longer - it was a challenge but good fun.
Thank you Jasmin for an interesting video, enjoyed it! And you are so humble, such a great musician 👍👏💕
Alhamdulillah !
Jasmine is my favorite flower !

Now you are my favorite Flutist !
More love from the Philippines !

Jasmine your reactions to these videos are so funny !!! Keep up the content it's really amazing
Another great video. Thanks Jasmine!
Incredibly beautiful music and very interesting video.
Thank you Jasmine Choi
👍👏🌹🌹🌹💕.
I always really enjoy making and playing Music, not everyone knows how fun music really is
Wonderful world of flutes. I missed playing mine.
Kind, positive vibe, not laughing too loud, very punctual. Thank you...
Such a beautiful reaction video, really learnt a lot
The content we didn’t know we needed
I'm enjoying your video, thank you ❤
Hi Jasmine! You should check out the video where Lizzo plays an historic glass flute at the Library of Congress. Clearly she's a classically trained flutist, knows her stuff on it, and just chose a different path.
Thank you! Interesting! It's very nice to listen to you! 🥰
플루트 대중화에 최선을 다하는 연주자님 최고👍
"Mom! I want a counterbase flute!"
"We have one at home."
How did I end up watching flute vids in the middle of the night?!
I love seeing this side of you!
Oh my goodness I need a metronome with a Jasmine Choi on the stick :-) merch idea!
I must know as someone who has now been studying piano / music for only 2 years, i would say a lot of Asian players, but Specfically in south Korea are just on another level , and the K dramas harmony ballads are so good, with Rich Extensions and jazz influence, and also love bossa nova,
Whats with South Korea that Classical music/ music in general is so crazy enriched compared to the states?
Love this video I love hearing the Insurments that do lines and melody like sax/trumpet / flute since that's what's practiced the most, its so creative, what Players come up with.
Lizzo was playing an excerpt of Briccialdi’s Carnival of Venice
Very interesting and fun video. You are a natural.
Hats off to the editor of this video
Te amo Choi ❤
I enjoyed your commentary on the tik tok videos. you seem really down to earth.
Pretty nice video editing!👏
Great !!!❤❤
Great I love to play flute
I love your video❤❤
it was very interesting!!😍
THE BEATBOX!!!!
Lizzo was playing an arrangement of "The Carnival of Venice". Impressive!
she's pretty
The beatbox was like the 2016 freshmen cypher beat
21
That beat box is so ....😅❤
This was great! Really enjoyed watching. I really think you should try out some tutorials if you ever have time in the future. Maybe some "how to improve your tone" or "articulation 101". Of course this is only a suggestion! Keep fluting :)
Thank you:) I have several tutorials already but not my channel. You can find them at Henle Masterclass site or the Tonebase Flute site:)
@@JasmineChoi That's great to hear! I'll definitely check them out.
This makes me wanna learn flute even tho im an alto saxophonist.
Great talk show and speaking.
Hi just found your channel from Ray... you seem cool :D
She IS cool!
This is the first time I've heard someone playing a melody on the contrabass flute - instead of just spitting into it.
the beat box really suprised me alot
Try indian wooden flute
I think the video you asked about may have been so popular because the song is pretty popular and she performed well
That part of Lizo, was Giulio Briccialdi Carnavale di Venezia op 78..and yes, I did studied that and it's not so easy.. But it's seems
omg... Eddy Wally, bless his soul
Very nice 🔥
Wow, Jasmine you really rock, I'm not into classical, actually, I'm hooked on Prog rock, Jazz... I love Spain by Chick Corea done by the late Joe Farrell, Jethro Tull's Bouree and some lots of rock flutes types, Canned Heat's intro on Going Out of the Country, and some weird flutes by Focus band especially Hocus Pocus tune, but this is my first time to watch this kind of instrument, wow that's very very nice, I think I have some cassette tapes by Hubert Laws during the fusion years, late 70's to 80's. Wow, I will not forget your name and how you demonstrate that very very difficult musical instrument, at this very moment count me in as your fan, and you are so beautiful too, I hope you recommend some great flute music, I also wish you can play Spain and Bouree by Ian Anderson's version, thanks a lot, you made my day !!!!
When I started flute I could get a sound out of it from day one. Because I had done recorder before I could also get the right notes because the fingering on the flute is so similar to the treble recorder. My teacher asked me how many years had I been playing it and I replied what do you mean? I only got given it a week ago.
I watched all of this flute tiktoks because when I wanted it so much all I had that was so near to have a flute was go on a music shop to see them or watch tiktoks about it🤣🤣🥲🥲
5:53 What is that bass flute?🪈 😂
8:40 sounds like a fire / car alarm
I SAW BRETT FROM TWO SET IN THE TONIC ADD LOLLL
You should probably do a beatbox flute freestyle video
Omg a pokemon reference
Contrabass flute plays Dovregubens hall (in the hall of the mountain king) by Edvard Grieg 👍👑🇳🇴
Choi To The World is cute, and creative. Haha.
Habe you ever tried bamboo flute❤😍
I am a bamboo flutist.... ~Indian..
Great how you use the "WAAW" from the deceased Belgian artist: Eddy Wally 🙂
Gorgeous.Greeting from Shanghai.
I was the only flute in my 5th and 6th grade band
Oh my goodness I’m famous now, my comment was in the video at the end!!
I'd love to see a flute video on Stu Mackenzie from King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. I can't tell if he's just solid or super skilled (like he is on guitar.)
This video is very cool and you're gorgeous Jasmine.
caught me off guard when she started beatbox out of no where impressive tho
Lizzo has played the flute since she was 10 apparently , huge props to her for such great playing.
5:01 Surprise Subaru!
Hi jasmine Choi can you recommend the flute for beginners? A budget friendly ones
A video dedicated to circular brething please :(
The one with the violin boy is just mentioned...

can the graphic of the flute family be corrected? :)
@6:05 :)
Anyone else want to see her react to Jethro Tull?
This one time, at band camp...
What's even more staggering is sub contrabass anything.
I'm a flute player too
🔥🔥🔥How many hours do you practice your technic every day? And how many hours do you practice classical pieces?
excellent! Have been able to see Jethro Tull live?
배경음악에 론도 카프리치오 너무좋네요 플룻버전은 처은들어봐요 바이올린만 해서저는..
8:56 jasmine so cute when she trying to copying her face 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
you see i play the oboe but i have flute friends so i know the inside jokes
👏👏👏
Lizzo plays flute really good
I’m only 11 and I’m playing the flute and people say I’m good at it😭😭
Was that Alan Freeman popping up saying wow??
My favorite classical flautist is Robert K Dick. I learned circular breathing from him. But he also did Multitimbral playing. I saw him live once years ago and he did a paganini Violin solo complete with double stops. His control of the overtones on the flute is out of this world. I am more Jazz and Free Improv oriented player but he was truly was a virtuoso especially with extended technique. the open hole/closed hole cracked me up. I graduated to the open hole while still a beginner because I wanted to play blues and jazz and needed to bend the notes! It was a pain learning to play the open holes but SO worth it!!
