I've checked all your apartment hunting videos (I like those), and I can tell your current apartment is the best out of all of them. The size is perfect, the brightness is key, the living room is engaging, open, well oriented and enjoyable, the view is top, the location is top, the bathrooms are nice, (having two is a plus), having two bedrooms is top (the spare room can be converted into a work area, leaving the rest of the apartment to what it's meant to be: relaxing. You can also host a visitor/friend), you have a useful balcony, a full size totally fonctional kitchen, a washer, no deposit, a normally set up apartment, and your rent includes EVERYTHING. So, why don't you try to negotiate a yearly deal with the landlord and knock the rent down 2 or 3 mil (even 4) for the month ? You would be surprised what a yearly contract can do for you. One more thing: I'm a communication specialist, and I would advise you to NEVER, EVER, openly display your enthusiasm for a place you're visiting. Indeed, every time you verbalize your amazement and interest for the place, the message you're sending to the landlord is that his place is unique and that what he's asking for it is not enough for what it's really worth. Don't do that, as you're hurting yourself (closing the doors of negotiation and throwing the keys out the window, yourself) and hurting the overall market. Always keep your excitement to yourself, it will pay off at the end (remember what happened to the overall conditiins when you got back to that place you liked the most, to visit another unit). Take care.

The Dominica is alright but I’d personally rather live in a high rise, especially if it’s gonna have nice night views. The fact that they required you a 3 months after they’ve previously agreed to a month to month lease, would’ve instantly made me not want to do any business with them anymore..
@@STEM_Student1 yeah I agree. Everyone seems to be in agreement that the last apartment was the best. The landlord didn't want to budge on a few negotiations issues. And since I'm in a good place currently I wasn't in a rush to make a decision that would have me go over my budget for a one bedroom. I can look again next month no problem especially since it's rainy season now I feel like a lot more things will become available and prices might even drop.
Its the cameras. they learn from us what is going on. On the no deposit, maybe they realize that most landlords ask for that.
Yes possibly.
iiibre 🚘🕴❤👈
the last one was really good you should just pay what the landlord wants. the first one is a hard pass. the 2nd was mid.
@@aaronpugliese I really like the last one to. The only issue is I'm in a great place now where I don't pay a security deposit I only have a month-to-month lease and I have an extra bedroom and an extra bathroom and a much better view for only an additional $120 a month. Where is that last apartment that you seen in the video wants me to pay a deposit wants me to sign a contract I would have a lesser quality view and not sure how good the landlord would be. If I wasn't in such a great now I probably would have took that last apartment.
@@Willtravelz so the 3m is not to do with visas?
@@besovereign2032 the Visa itself is about 25.00$ you can either apply for that on your own online. Or you could pay the Visa agency to do it for you I think they charged an extra $10 on top of the $25.
Thats very Vietnamese 😂🙈 they rather let it stay empty than giving u the price u asked, and u didnt even ask for to much.
They know if they say yes to you, words spread, specially with the camera/vlogger. Then they will lose a lot in the long run, it adds up.
Possibly but I'm in a good rental right now so I didn't need to force a decision. I can look again next month and especially with rainy season now here I feel like they'll be more options possibly even cheaper.
I guess the 3m min could be an issue for some renters and not really negotiable. The wifi cannot that be much of a deal breaker for either side?
