- HI AND WELCOME TO MICKS MOWERS.
IN THIS VIDEO YOU WILL SEE ME FIX A HOLE IN A LAWNMOWER DECK,MOST PEOPLE WOULD TAKE IT TO THE TIP BUT NOT ME .
I USED FIBERGLASS TO FIX IT AND WITH A BIT OF PAINT, LOVE AND CARE SHE WILL LOOK LOVELY AGAIN.
SO LETS GET DOWN AND DIRTY AND GET HER DONE.

A man after my own heart, i work on the railway as well, but trained as a Horticultural engineer many years ago when i left school, best wishes
The company I worked for did Nickle & chrome plating. I took my brand new mower and stripped it down to just it frame took it to work acid dip it to take off the paint and had it nickel plated. Big mistake, The plating came out perfect but after putting it back together. and when I started to mow the lawn the sun was in full strength and just about blind me from the shine.😪

Great video I'm doing the same thing to my old Honda walk behind,it's got a hole in deck to a deal with as well, you gave you some great tips thank you sir appreciate and look up to you using safety equipment like respirators and gloves and what not ,so many folks Overlook that and pay for it later on in life, bless you and your family

nice wee refurb you dont always have to weld holes i weld because i can and have stuff
fibre glass very strong repair way you approached it and end result looks grand the usual things break when you doing refurb but nowt you cant handle
bad maintenance some amount grass you pulled out !!! was watching with my daughter erin shes well hooked lol she was so happy riley boy appeared

Hi Mick that hayter harrier 41 410d wasn't such a good catch after all. I found out the left side roller bracket is broken. So thats thirty pounds on ebay and the plastic cover under the deck has a bit of a chunk out of it by the rear roller?
I might buy the bracket but was wondering whether i could epoxy glue another piece of plastic on the gap at the back by the roller? Its about 2 inches.

Yeah I would.. as long as the repair is good. Not much different to repairing a car in many ways
Hi I got a honda Gv100 lazer by mountfield . The blade boss is broken any ideas how I find a part number for it ????
Try Ebay first I would say
How many cans of each layer do you need?
One can will do about 2.5 coats ..
