Peanut butter and banana is nectar of the Gods. I don't care what anyone says about almond butter being healthier...just leave me alone to enjoy my peanut butter bliss.
There is no “best” nut. Every nut has its own unique properties. And while peanuts technically are not nuts, they’re still very healthy. The best diet is the most diverse one.
I made this with low fat/low sugar chocolate milk. I didn't add the honey, but I sprinkled some cinnamon on top before blending everything together. Totally Delicious!
I use a recipe very similar to this. I add about half cup of oats, use chia seeds instead of flaxseed and add about 4 ounces of avocado. Cocoa powder too if I feel like a chocolate fix. Comes out extremely thick and creamy. So thick I have to eat it with a spoon.
I used chocolate almond milk and added spinach instead of the flax seed. I also used powdered PB and a scoop of protein. This is my after workout breakfast. Sooooo good!

I can tolerate dairy but I switched to almond milk specifically for these type of shakes. I like to add a bit of brown sugar cinnamon and vanilla as well. Occasionally I will also grind peanuts in my coffee grinder and add those To the blender as well.
Great recipe! Been making something similar to this for years. The combo of banana and peanut butter even taste vaguely chocolate like in my mouth. I often add rolled oats to it, or pour the smoothie over the oats and left it overnight in the fridge to make a most delicious breakfast.
@@theantisocialsocialite- But it's the health benefits of these ingredients and the fact that they give you energy and make you feel full. Chocolate obviously doesn't do that. I've lost weight enjoying smoothies like this every single morning, because I feel so full from the protein and fibre that I'm not hungry and therefore not snacking until it's time for a healthy lunch.
