Hello Nick! I've already ordered an EQE SUV 500 4Matic with the hyperscreen. Unfortunately, the napa grey option that I asked will delay. Instead of being produced in June, it'll be produced in September 2023. with delivery date around Christmas. Let's hope that there will be no more delays.

And yes a comparison between the EQS and the EQA would be great, so please think about doing it for us. And I’m still waiting for the release of the EQA 350 here in Australia, Mercedes-Benz seems to forgotten that we even exist
Hey IndyGuy, really sorry not sure. If you get in touch with your local Mercedes, they might be able to let you know or add you to a mailing list of a launch date 🤓
Please do the comparison you mentioned at the end between the EQS and the EQE. I'll be looking for my next MB next summer and, while I've been thinking of either the S580 or the EQS580, I could be persuaded (maybe!) to consider the EQE. I have nothing against the E-Class (I love my current E63S AMG), but wanted to try the S-Class next time out. Still, it's down to you to convince me one way or the other... :-)
I used to have E classes v8’s, my last was the E63. I changed that to the S class (s560 coupé) and what a difference in cars. The S class is their premiere car and the coupé ( when they made them ) was the flagship of the S class. Once you have an S Class, you look down on the E class ( even the most expensive) as it does not compare to an S class. I was thinking of changing for the EQS, personally although there is a S in the badging, I don’t think it’s a true S class. You can contact me for very obvious differences, plus the look of my coupé will be a classic, even if not the most practical car. Fred

It says depending on the equipment. I ve looked behind that cover, there are the fuses and probably some plug for the airbags. But none for 12v. I will ask again to the garage. But so far they have not been able to help me.
Video and car is great Nick, but Mercedes need to be honest giving customers information on cars ordered 9 months plus ago!. Been told 2023 for petrol engine cla which is not good enough. Electric is the future but customers have been part of the past and future!, so Mercedes need to start giving them respect!. Prioritising eq models is great, but don't forget about petrol orders already in the system!
Hey Tony, I know there are still ongoing semiconductor issues worldwide with every manufacturer and sadly I’d imagine they just don’t know when it will get better. Hey max - Timothy, it depends on where you’re driving 🤓 If you aim to keep the speed between 40mph & 60mph, this will certainly enable you to achieve range as advertised. Hey David well actually there’s nothing really to see under there. Believe it or not on EQE & EQS, Mercedes actually don’t permit people to look in there because there are no user serviceable parts inside. I’ve been shown inside it and yeah there isn’t much to see!
@@npoleary Hi Nick. Thanks for your prompt reply. I can understand why “under the bonnet” images might be restricted. Hey Scott, thank you! Well I know some of Mercedes-Benz’s models released recently (EQE & EQS) are on the higher end but that’s because they are genuinely on the higher end of cars. "Should you go for an EQE or an EQS?" There's a £30,000 price difference - an additional 40% ish price increase. Even if you can afford an EQE it's a HUGE price differential that, maybe, 99% of EQE buyers may not even consider. Is the question therefore relevant for the private buyer? For the person leasing via a company scheme it may be an interesting comparison though. Good video though.
Hey Jaimin, yes there sure is! However I’ve heard quite often that people come in looking at an EQA and EQC with often £23k price differences. As you said could be through a company scheme or something 👍🏼 Glad you enjoyed the video!
Hey Chris, really sorry I didn’t write that down. I would imagine it would be more than the EQA though! Calculating it, you should be able to get up to around 4 mpkWh to achieve the range quoted 👍🏼
Thanks for the reply, it's taken me months to get used to driving it with - - regen to get the best out of it. Trying to explain to people you drive with one pedal most of the time, they don't believe it.
Why talk about fuel cost in the intro. The people who can afford electric cars aren’t concerned about gas prices. People who are worried about gas prices can’t afford electric cars. Electric cars right now are more of a status symbol rather than trying to get electric cars to the average person.
I’m just so disappointed with Mercedes U.K. decision to only sell the low end and top end models for EV. The perfect EQE and EQS models are only sold outside the U.K. The ones with 4matic.
Within two years motors changed, recuperation system replaced, car big battery changed. Mercedes service 100/100… mercedes EV technology 0/100 not yet mercedes… you are loosing people’s trust
No electric car is worth their ridiculous unfair high prices. No there not enough electricity in our USA to power and charge electric cars. California now does not have enough electricity supply charging the many numbers of electric cars and this horrible state now has blackout where they forbid charging. Our world is also running out of materials to make the batteries that is needed so we are now damaging and devastating our earth. When the time comes to sell or trade-in an electric cars the poor owners are going to get a huge surprise for the depreciation of their electric cars because the cost of replacing the batteries is super expensive, about $20,000.00. Electric cars owners are going to get a very huge unpleasant and ugly shock. Be smart and AVOID buying any worthless electric car.
do you work for Opec? You sound like you don't understand the most basic concepts of how the electrical grid works, how EV's charge, the amount of unused capacity on the grid, how incredibly reliable, fun, and clean EV's are to drive, or how fantastic they are to own. Your batteries dying stats are absurd. DOn't know anyone that's happenned to - batteries have 8 to 10 yr warranties too. Everything you say is actually the opposite of reality. I live in CA, my extended family drives 11 EV cars and I've owned 25 high end non-ex's. No one I know would ever consider going back to gas/oil burning smog machines...
@bertfaerstain I wish I worked for OPEC, I would have become rich. EVs are poor and troublesome purchases, just look at California where they prevent you from charging EVs in prime times as their electricity grid and power companies cannot supply the needed electricity. I hate it that our corrupt and imbecile government gives thousands of dollars rebates on EV purchases which I find corruptly very unfair. We are not yet capable to handle the large requirements for EV vehicles. We are being forced into this ugly problem and our horrible and despicable Democrats are forcing this horrible problem down our American throats. Utterly stupid.

As you said could be through a company scheme or something 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed the video!
What mpkwh did you get in your test drive? I have an EQA and average 3.5.
Haha yeah!
I’ll hopefully do a video on that soon! 😜
1 thing I wonder is dose the brake light come on when you lift off? The regen slows you down very fast
Yea it does on the increased ones 🤓
Classic
Why talk about fuel cost in the intro. The people who can afford electric cars aren’t concerned about gas prices. People who are worried about gas prices can’t afford electric cars. Electric cars right now are more of a status symbol rather than trying to get electric cars to the average person.
I’m just so disappointed with Mercedes U.K. decision to only sell the low end and top end models for EV. The perfect EQE and EQS models are only sold outside the U.K. The ones with 4matic.
no hyperscreen no party
I can imagine how silent this car is.
It was super silent! 🤫
Exterior looks like old civic
Within two years motors changed, recuperation system replaced, car big battery changed. Mercedes service 100/100… mercedes EV technology 0/100 not yet mercedes… you are loosing people’s trust
Shame its so ugly on the outside
