Awesome to see the wagon coming together, great outcome Andy!
Thanks Jason. The wagon has made great progress. Hope to see your evo on the streets soon. How long to go?
🎉 great safe tune 😅
So much power now. Its a handful thats for sure. Thank you for your support as always
Awesome definitely taking this one on the next coffee run I’ll even pay
Sounds good! The Evo wants to stretch its legs again. Its gonna be a great summer
Very cool evo wagon! Nice work.👍
Thanks Paul. much appreciated mate 🙂
Beautiful wagon
Thanks mate. Its taken so much time and money to get it to where it is now. Live and learn I guess.
Nice video Andy ! Your wagon was what lead me to getting mine , such a great car .✌🏻
Thanks Will. I'm ready to finally enjoy this car. Do you have much plans for yours?
@@UzumakiGarage Ive had a tune/exhaust, suspension works done . It’s a gta so I wouldn’t mind diff upgrades , trans tune and a mivec engine. It’s an awesome dailey for me in the auto form .
@@Willdrknght oh cool. The evo is such versatile car. I have a rear cusco diff in my wagon but replaced my front cusco diff with a stock e9 diff... but maybe I should've just converted the front diff a 1-Way so it was less aggressive??? not sure
@@UzumakiGarage ERS in sydney did a great upgrade by custom re-shimmed rear and Evo 9gt front . The gta as you know missed out on lots of good bits haha .
@@Willdrknght I didn't know the GT-A had different diffs. Are you in the FB evo wagon owners group?
Another great video mate, really enjoying your style of videos and being a TME owner and import enthusiasts find your content very enjoyable, allways look forward to your next video. 👍
Thanks very much for commenting :) I like making these videos and I think they're improving but its great to get feedback. Are you still racing your S13 ? I had a look at your channel
@@UzumakiGarage hi, the s13 is currently getting a motor rebuild but the evo is now filling the track duties with our new track up here in Townsville, its a very fun and capable car for sure, t
Hopefully the Sil will be back on track early mid next year and then have my pick of weapon to enjoy ❤️
Thank you for your reply and interest mate 🙏
@@benlit13 cheers mate. What Evo do you have? They are very versatile hey?
@@UzumakiGarage A white TME, certinaly not a super clean oem + example like yours but was modified in Japan with some good track goodies, I enjoy it a lot especially having the option of awd and rwd with the Sil.
@@benlit13 Awesome!
Just stumbled upon your channel. Great quality conent Andrew! Used to own a TME about 15 years ago with a 4G64 2.4 stroker and GT35R combo, 400awhp on 98. I love the shape of the wagon, great build!
Hey Gavin. Thanks very much. I bet your car got moving with that power in the light TME especially 15 years ago it was harder to build power then compared to nowadays. One day ill build the engine in my TME and its gonna be crazy good. Its the never ending struggle between OEM and the fun of high power. What ate you driving nowadays?
@@UzumakiGarage OMG you have a TME too?! Wow! That is awesome. It was an incredible car to own - however I could very much relate to the boost on 98. For whatever reason it made peak power on around 23psi - I stupidly turned up the wick to around 26, it blew the tip off an Iridium spark plug which scored the bore and destroyed the engine. My brother in law bought it off me, rebuilt it then his mate put a rod through the block. It now is sadly rotting away at his mothers house.
I currently have a Lexus ISF with full bolt on mods. I intend to keep it for a fair while yet. Having just turned 40 I need to start being more financially responsible - and I can't trust myself to purchase JDM nostalgia with the modification bug waiting to pounce.
@@gavinr9107 cheers mate. Yes the TME is very nice and I have to get it tuned too as I don't even know who tuned it in the past. But it has cams and a GTpumps 712 turbo so it must have been tuned??? I kinda like it being mostly OEM and I can't afford to build that motor too so a low boost tune is all it will get (eventually). What country is your brother in laws TME in? Message me on Instagram or facebook if you don't want to say in these comments. For some reason I can't be financially responsible. That Lexus must be quick!
@@UzumakiGarage He and I are both in Perth, Western Australia. Yes with bolt on's the ISF is decently quick and makes all the right noises.
@@gavinr9107 Nice. If you were East coast I would probably be asking if he would sell it for a new project for me
Awesome
Thanks man. Its great to have it running again. How are your evo wagons? Getting ready for winter or still enjoying them?
loved it
Thank you very much!
Really a great car, I love my JDMs, just gorgeous 😊❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much! Yes its all about JDM cars for me too. Do you drive a JDM car?
@@UzumakiGarage Hi, yes I have a Mazda and in one and a half weeks I get a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VII additionally, I'm absoloutely exited and can't await it :D
@@margotrasch5684 oh cool. You should make some videos or Instgram post about it
@@UzumakiGarage Okay, why not, I'll make good vids of both cars than, I promise, could you maybe show some videos of the EVO VII as well, I'd appreciate it :)
Well done mate. I miss my evo wagon!
Thanks mate, They are great for the street as long as you don't modifiy them too much. Do you still have the R32?
No I sold the GTR at the start of covid. Now I only have the boring LS460 family sedan.
@@UzumakiGarage
@@TokyoDriversClub i love your fishing posts. Keep it up. Looks like a great life to me.
Wow! 😂
Thanks to you! 😀 fantastic work. Can’t wait until you tune my other cars.
@UzumakiGarage sounds like fun
Nice video Andy!
thanks Mark. Are you an evo man too?
yes mate! i have 8mr 2.2L fp black@@UzumakiGarage
@@markc1456 ahh very cool! I used to have an FP Black too, it was the oily ball bearing type but I loved the way it sounded
yeah they sound awesome! i have the trusty old journal bearing Black! 5yrs old now... had a Green for about same time before that too! FP make great turbos! i'd like to upgrade to the Zero.... But Mark turbos are solid performers as well
@@markc1456 yeah i think journal bearing turbos have proved to be better now
The rear end is spectacularly ugly but still makes me want to own one! :)
Haha Yeah I thought so at first too, but now I really love it. The tall tail lights are a bit volvo shaped i guess but things like the grey garnishes that emphasise the pumped out quarter panel make it look really fat. (in a good way). You should definitely get one
Great power an curve tho I don't understand why he tuned for 315kw 98.. gtp762 can go 270-280kw
Not sure what you mean... I still wanted decent power on 98 fuel as I'm not running e85 all the time. 300+ is still good for me
@UzumakiGarage oh I see, I like to keep my low boost as low as possible, so are you dual mapped or full flex?
@@jjsorenavki7005 its a flex fuel tune. In hindsight a GTPUMPS 712 would have suited me better. And maybe a bit less boost too. Bit expensive to change it all again now though
@UzumakiGarage should have gone a new gen FP turbo , clean wagon tho. 😊
@@jjsorenavki7005 i used to have ball bearing FP Black on the wagon. Then swapped to an Australian built GTPUMPS turbo
