- Got a new set of ramps for working on the truck. Are they any good? They are made of plastic and are stackable to save room. Let's try them out on the truck and see if the sedan can climb them as well. Thanks for watching.

I always use jack stands with my rhino ramps just in case.
Wheel chalks as well.
i changed oil in my 4 banger honda crosstour little over a month ago and when i went to back up i forgot the big wheel chalk was still there. i had it in my garage next to my street bike and dirtbike and when i backed up gave it too much gas not realizing it was chalked and the whole car fell down to the ground off of the ramps. Nothing happened and no damage to anything at all ramps held up fine. The car is front wheel drive so it must have spun the ramps out or something and i was using a big heavy duty semi truck style wheel chalk i use for my boat so there was no way that car was going over it. but it definitely had my car falling but the car handled it just fine and the ramps as well. So I would have to say thats a testament to how good that must be then. i just traded my tundra for a low mileage ram hemi 4x4 . its so low to the ground for fuel economy i think so ill just use jack stands but honestly dont really fell all too safe with the jack stands but better than nothing.
I have 2 pairs of these that I have used for my Subcompact tractor and my Polaris General side by side and they are great for that. I'm about to install a 60 gallon diesel tank on my F250 and I'm gonna see if they will hold up. It weighs around 8,000 lbs. I'll set the jackstands under the axles for backup. It's great that they nest and are lightweight. Years ago I made a set of wooden ramps. They were super sturdy but heavy and awkward to store.

Hey there great video yes I have used those ramps before I used them on my 21 Tundra and it makes sense why one collapsed like you said use them on a hard surface I was using them in my back yard on the lawn and one sunk in a little bit into the ground and I collapsed it but I definitely would get another pair of them and next time have a piece of plywood or something underneath them keep up the videos thanks for sharing

Not sure how easy that would be or if the weight of the vehicle suspended on four would cause failure. Be careful out there.
The subaru legacy is not a regular sedan…… it’s got a lot of ground clearance compared to a maxima, accord, Camry etc.
6” of clearance on my Legacy from factory. Because of that I recently installed a lift kit and now it is 8”. Same ride, same handling, and now I can install a taller/wider tire.
The 12,000 lb. limit refers to the total weight of your vehicle. The ramps will not support that much.
I believe each of those ramps has a weight limit of about 3000 lbs. so using two ramps gives a total of 6000 lbs.
Take your truck to a public truck scale and roll the front axle onto the scale. Find out if it's safe to crawl under.
Also, be aware the plastic could become softer on hot sunny days.
All great things to consider, and always use them on hard surface.

If you truck is facing a downhill slope as yours does, more vehicle weight is transferred to the front axle. Just saying.

I don't think any ramps would be safe on anything other than asphalt or concrete.
