Bose needs to fix this issue. It’s hilarious how they’re defending all the Best Buy comments on this issue. I won’t buy Bose again and recommend do not buy their products.

I’ve owned this same sound system for the past 4 years and yes the popping noise does happen from time to time and it’s annoying. The only way I figured out to cancel out the popping noise is to connect it to a power outlet that’s ONLY powering up the subwoofer and NOTHING else . For example, if my wife forgets and plugs in a phone charger or lamp on the same outlet as the subwoofer the popping noise comes back.

I tried everything to fix the noise coming from my two Bose subwoofers without success. Both were making the same noise until I moved the power cable that was passing underneath both subwoofers. The power cable has to go straight back without passing by one side or underneath the box. This way, the two boxes never made the noise again

sent me bose module 700 back anyway because it makes separate sound or the speaker was loose in subwoofer I'm going to wait for other speaker from bose when it comes out I don't know when because I hear a lot of reviews that bose does subwoofer separately and this happened to me when I set the bass to level 100 I thought it was a waste of money so I wonder if another subwoofer will come out for bose without problems I did keep my bose soundbar 600

Were you able to get the popping noise to stop?
I have the same issue, my sub would make the popping noise regardless of the volume.

I know I'm having the same DAME problem 😕 mine started about 3 weeks ago out of no wear I have the soundbar 900 base module 700 and my popping sound happens randomly and it happens mostly when the sound is kinda low and when we are watching action movies and a quiet part comes in the move I get the popping sound so I'm going to try the 3.5 mm cord but I think this is software related this didn't happen intill the last software update

I have the same issue with my subwoofer 700, moving the subwoofer (literally ALL over the room in different spots) DID NOT help at all. No matter where I put it, I get this popping & crackling. It worked fine for about 2 years, then out of no where, this started. I was told to try & restart my wifi routers when this happens to fix it cause the routers are interfering with the signal. Not sure what wifi routers have to do with a bluetooth connection, but I’ll try that. I expect more from Bose than this. So angry at Bose right now. Last resort is to hard wire it to the Soundbar. We have our Soundbar up pretty high, so having a wire running down the middle of my living room is not ideal & defeats the purpose of buying wireless.

@@gamerbeans663Repositioning the module works for a short while. I had to purchase IsoAcoustics. You may check it out. It sold on Amazon for $139. That's the permanent fix for now.

Ive had the Bose 700 combo for 3 years and I've been through 3 soundbar and module replacements due to the popping.. They act like they never heard of the issue and just send me new units.. I'm 5 months into my 3rd replacement and the popping just started today.. I'm going to throw in the towel and request a refund! This is a high end BT unit that shouldn't have these issues. I'm done with Bose

I have the same issue with my bose sub500. 65 to 50 hertz is the typical popping frequency. Happens mostly during movies. Will need to call bose support 😞
