Trivia: conventionally and nuclear-powered aircraft carriers are complementary, not substitutes. The combat effectiveness of an aircraft carrier is always the ejection rate of the aircraft. The speed of a carrier fleet is always determined by the slowest ship. The combatants on a nuclear-powered carrier also need to eat. College of shandong ship launching claimed 50000 tons, 67000 tons, actually. 075 when entering college claimed twenty thousand tons, 40000 tons of actual. When college in fujian ship launching claimed more than 80000 tons, as to how many tons of surplus will see later. College when calculating the weight, the United States with short tons, China use metric tons. A ton in the United States is about 0.94 tons, which means 940 kilograms, not 1,000 kilograms. Another factor is that the yield strength of the steel plate of the American aircraft carrier is about 850 mpa, while that of the Chinese aircraft carrier is about 2,200 mpa. The steel plate of the aircraft carrier can be thinner and lighter if the size and strength of the aircraft carrier are not reduced.
I somewhat question China's claims about hardened steel. China still purchases hardened steel from other countries for everyday manufacturing because they can't produce it themselves. Yet for the navy they claim better than 2 times the strength of western steel?
their carrier strike groups need to be carrier task forces that have 2 type 055's, 2 type 052's, 2 type 054's, 4 type 056's, 1 type 075, 1 type 076, 1 type 071, 3 type 093's, 2 oilers and 2 supply ships, and obviously an aircraft carrier
Type 56 is abit small to chase carriers around bad weather will toss them around to much. Chinese frigates are large they could use a couple more of them, the 56 is more a littoral corvette.
056 are too slow to guard a carrier group, they need everything above 30knots in order to maneuver on the outskirt of the group. thats probably why they are replacing 054A with 054B. just imagine ur group are turning left, ur right flank destroyer would need to travel faster in order to keep up with the group. otherwise ur right flank would be exposed to things like submarines and ships like 075 or 076 should not travel with the carrier group, as their job is coast landing mission and they are 20-24knots ships, unless 076 giveup/shrink their dock and make it a 30knots light carrier(in that case they should not bare the naming of type 07X )
China's actor/soldiers may look imposing to some as they go through the motions of combat troops, but the first day of actual hostilities , and casualties , will help to make them not so eager to die for the Party.
Was checking out Google Earth, why does it look like China has 2 of these newer carriers already? One in dry dock and the other pier side. Maybe the images are two different times but they are close to each other so Idk..
GE has some issues with updating their pictures from different time. Both ACs you saw in China's shipyard are actually from the same AC, but from different time.
This was the Dream of the Naval Officers and Generals of the former USRR especially Admiral Sergey Georgyevich Gorshkov and it is fulfilled by the People's Liberation Army Navy
It is only opinion .....but I think the type-55 destroyers is really a cruiser .....very comparable to the US Navy's Ticonderoga class cruisers but larger...
No China's navy won't be feared anytime soon! They have only 3 aircraft carriers, the US has 11 the UK has 2 . The Chinese carriers still leave a lot to be desired. Most of China's navy consist of smaller vessels only about 20% of their naval assets offer any type of threat, powerful they are not
There was something they liked about that Russian carrier. They experiment and learn. I love to witness the birth of a great Navy and hope to never see it fire a shot in anger.
Really, feared ! , not compared to the USA coalition strike groups in the region , especially the new VSTOL ones who like the rest now, operate with an architecture of integrated sensor networking that enables them to see well beyond the range of their own ships sensors which enable them to operate at maximum range from well over the horizon re: datalinks !
As the Chinese navy doesn't have the same global dominance doctrine as the US navy, in theory, they should have more naval assets available to protect their carriers, and coastline!
My dear friends, with the effort you showed building this US-type “sitting-duck” which is ineffective during war scenarios in the age of hypersonic weapons etc. you could have built up to 100 thousand of the most modern residential houses the world has ever seen. If the objectives are showing strength and superiority to the world what would achieve more ? If further objectives are to show peacefulness, moral- and intellectual superiority what would achieve more ? If the objectives are economic growth and prosperity for the people of China ? Please let the best experts from around the world help your experts with the creation of next generation residential, fully autonomous, modular homes. It could become Chinas greatest export and excel the economic development of Asian and African countries for the common goal of solving the global water- energy- housing- and food crises. I know you can do it.
Only if they are attacked because their carriers are a coastal defense force and having spent years on carriers theres no way they can match our intensity
The one thing you can always count on are our Chinese friends always boasting about their latest achievements. Ironically, they also boast about how peace loving they are, but include "will be feared by our enemies." China is such a good neighbor; I can't imagine that they have any enemies.
The channel appears to be run by a Russian man. But there are still plenty of boasts on the Chinese internet space saying about how fearsome their new weaponry are. Chinese commentators with a lot of nuance also comment that their fleets at the moment are not a match for the American fleets. They cannot match the Americans and the allied forces in quantity, training and experience. Regarding the Chinese relationships with their neighbours, Nepal, Bhutan, and some countries have positive relationships with China. Vietnam, India and others have mixed feelings.

The People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) surpassed the US Navy in fleet size sometime around 2020 and now has around 340 warships, according to the Pentagon’s 2022 China Military Power Report. China’s fleet is expected to grow to 400 ships in the next two years, the report says. Meanwhile, the US fleet sits under 300 ships... Lastly, I don't think that the Chinese need a large number of carriers anyway..
@@zix_zix_zix Yeah but most of them are smaller ships. America is not building things like corvettes or a big number of patrol vessels. China is also building smaller destroyers for the most part. And America is replacing ships while China is building capabilities. If the US is not replacing ships they would be just as big if not larger but it is pointless.
Pfft anyone without 100 years of blue water navy experience sure. They're far, far, behind the 65 years plus of operating aircraft carriers in combat conditions. The US has lost carriers in combat before, sure it's been awhile since, but it's an experience that has to be endured to be appreciated.
You mean the same carrier that already has cracks in the rear 3rd of its deck? I'll believe that when it proves itself. I'm not for Russian or Chinese claims with zero proof
@Eurasia Naval Insight my comments are specifically in regards to the lack of proof. Everything we know about 003 is from what the Chinese have told the public. None of it is from what they've shown or given evidence. Just look at EMALS, and how much the US has struggled for years to make it work reliably with unlimited nuclear power to run it. Yet no video is ever shown with CCP even testing their's. I've only ever seen images where they're covered on deck. Why?
@Eurasia Naval Insight along that idea, you don't have proof of the capabilities of the Fujian either. Just the PLAN claims of what it can do. I enjoy watching military content but don't understand why you seem to take offense at somebody questioning ship abilities with zero evidence
..and you know this how exactly? Just wondering because they have proven to be extremely effective and disciplined in everything they have done so far..
Your being generous. PLAN has a way to go before venturing out of its waters very far. 1st of all I'd like to see the 003 do sea trials and what is can do. Shake down cruise is essential but so is actual flight ops etc. I'm a bit surprised that China didn't make a CVN type carrier. They can do conventional no prob. I don't think they are in a rush. However a bit more thinking and time may have resulted in a nuke powered carrier. Unless they will stay in close to China waters, then conventional would suffice.
@@mooglemy3813 PLAN are not interested in "venturing out of its waters very far", so true blue-water capability is not a high priority to them right now. That's precisely why they' re not investing heavily in developing super carriers.
You may want to check those Chinese-made Frigates for Thailand Navy back then, according to reports, Chinese shipyards use a low-quality metal sheet, as it is vulnerable to rust, and body frame fatigue and it even reaches early the supposed to be time table maintenance for dry dock instead. With China's naval construction urgency, that event surpasses the quantity of the US Fleet, I doubt big time if these vessels are of top quality in terms of engineering, materials used like metal plates, engine integration, components into it like radars, sensors, etc. Haha
According to my sources in the Chinese Strategic Huyou Agency, they are all paper ships/planes cannot even match with the US 7th fleet. Just like the russian ships pose absolutely no threat to us.

Both types of missile warheads are equipped with radar guidance seekers, infrared image seekers, and AI identification systems, so that the missiles can attack moving targets at sea or land targets. They are dual-purpose anti-ship and land-attack missiles. A new high-performance AI chip is added to calculate the image of the captured target for enhanced recognition, so that the missile has an AI smart missile with a similar eye recognition function. This is why "Xionghang" and "Xiong Falcon" have completed 20 live tests, with a hit rate of 100%. Both "Xionghang" and "Xiong Falcon" can communicate with satellites, early warning aircraft, and drone. They can also use pre-installed geographical orientation map data without relying on GPS, and use the INS inertial navigation system to navigate to the enemy's target area , start the scanning of the radar infrared image finder to find the target, and the AI eye algorithm recognizes and compares the image parameters of the enemy target in the missile computer to identify the target to attack. AI eyes can identify interference flame shields and false targets, and only attack real targets; because of the AI eye function, missiles are not interfered by enemy electronic warfare, and use high-speed and high-performance AI chips to calculate and filter out enemy interference electromagnetic waves, and can also reversely capture the interference source and report the coordinates of the enemy interference source to the friendly drone and early warning aircraft through the data link to carry out follow-up strikes. The flight computer of the missile can pre-plan the path of flying around to deceive the enemy, and change the attack target through the data link, and carry out coordinated group attack operations with the same missile network.

What are your thoughts about taiwans (planned) new generation type frigate and lpd
Taiwan belongs to China
LoL
Bwaha haha
老哥你头像太逗了!
@@-soul3706 哈哈哈
I somewhat question China's claims about hardened steel. China still purchases hardened steel from other countries for everyday manufacturing because they can't produce it themselves. Yet for the navy they claim better than 2 times the strength of western steel?
八嘎,不要以为我认不出你是中国人😂
The Fujian with zero J-15Bs and zero J-35s will not inspire fear. How many of each plane are combat ready today?
Imagine a nuclear powered carrier with a nuclear powered cruiser escort able to outrun submarines.
Great!🌹🌹🌹
Like I said before, PLAN needs a new generation of fast supply ship with top speed over 30 knots.
我觉得中国第一艘水面核动力舰艇就是补给舰😅一是验证、二是速度。。。
The oiler would have to be as long as the Fujian herself. Length is what limits the top speed of ships.
For what?
901 : ?
Nice, I guess in due time its time to test all these capabilities in actual war.
Why are there cracks in the deck of Fujian aircraft carrier.
It’s water flowing
their carrier strike groups need to be carrier task forces that have 2 type 055's, 2 type 052's, 2 type 054's, 4 type 056's, 1 type 075, 1 type 076, 1 type 071, 3 type 093's, 2 oilers and 2 supply ships, and obviously an aircraft carrier
Type 56 is abit small to chase carriers around bad weather will toss them around to much. Chinese frigates are large they could use a couple more of them, the 56 is more a littoral corvette.
@@bestestusername type 056 is is more than capable of going in the open ocean
056 are too slow to guard a carrier group, they need everything above 30knots in order to maneuver on the outskirt of the group. thats probably why they are replacing 054A with 054B.
just imagine ur group are turning left, ur right flank destroyer would need to travel faster in order to keep up with the group. otherwise ur right flank would be exposed to things like submarines
and ships like 075 or 076 should not travel with the carrier group, as their job is coast landing mission and they are 20-24knots ships, unless 076 giveup/shrink their dock and make it a 30knots light carrier(in that case they should not bare the naming of type 07X )
Awesome informative commentary likely watched by the Pentagon..I wonder if they click the thumbs up?
Bring it!

Nice Ford Carrier and Burke III 90% build with imported Chinese shipbuilding requirements

China's actor/soldiers may look imposing to some as they go through the motions of combat troops, but the first day of actual hostilities , and casualties , will help to make them not so eager to die for the Party.
K…
Was checking out Google Earth, why does it look like China has 2 of these newer carriers already? One in dry dock and the other pier side. Maybe the images are two different times but they are close to each other so Idk..
GE has some issues with updating their pictures from different time. Both ACs you saw in China's shipyard are actually from the same AC, but from different time.
Didn't the deck just cracked?
What is the range of chines ship cared anti-ship missiles?
Yj-21 has around 1500km. Yj-12 has 250-400km. Yj-18 has 220-550km

The oval shape reminds me of one
If it’s made like everything else they make we have nothing to worry about it will break down in 2 years

You should use more date to convince us
Before the end of this decade, hopefully, China will be able to churn out another one or perhaps two more Aircraft Carriers, nuclear powered ones.
What use is an aircraft carrier if you only have second rate aircraft.
They're working on the first rate aircraft - give it some time
US may be more powerful in every way, but China is doing surprisingly well
it is not ...
@@patrolmanracv it is lol
you mean reverse engineering US tech well ? 😅
It is! I think its called a destroyer by the PLAN so it does not freakout the Western imperialists.
"Feared by enemies". This phrase includes any civilized nation that does not want to be bullied by mafia tyrants.
Well done China powerful advanced SuperCarrier in the world. ❤💪💪👍👍👏👏💯💯❤❤
No China's navy won't be feared anytime soon! They have only 3 aircraft carriers, the US has 11 the UK has 2 . The Chinese carriers still leave a lot to be desired. Most of China's navy consist of smaller vessels only about 20% of their naval assets offer any type of threat, powerful they are not
Says you.
China need a 100 years of experience to do this... 😂😂😂
Because it will accidentally sink and cause a shipping hazard?
As the Chinese navy doesn't have the same global dominance doctrine as the US navy, in theory, they should have more naval assets available to protect their carriers, and coastline!
The Chinese Nave does not have Dominance YET. They will in 20 years once they get their carrier fleets up and running.
If they can make stealth aircraft, they can also make stealth missles.
该有防御导弹
Who feared?
I don't think I have ever heard this kind of accent anywhere else

Why you keep on saying J55? It’s J35
Is it realistically possible to convert the other two Chinese carriers into CATOBAR configuration?
China really caught up 😅
It's a copy of the US carriers, and strike group - but about 15 years out of date.
Still, China will catch up eventually; it's inevitable.
Unfortunately, the days of "force projection" have passed, other than to scare smaller countries into allowing foreign military bases on their soil.

Ships are capital intensive and too easily destroyed by cheap missiles and torpedoes.
Much better to invest in submarines, missiles and stealth aircraft
(But we can do without the balloons)
I still hope that in the future, USA and China can work together instead of fighting against one another. There has to be some common ground between capitalism and communisim which will allow both to exist in harmony with the freedoms and rights that all people deserve.

yeah lots of stuff they are "supposed" to have......yet to see real-world proof of any field-tested actual system that are effective beyond what the West has
How many oil tankers are they going to have in place. The one true weakness is that it's not nuclear powered. They won't be able to go far from home. That is good news for the U. S.
Just two submarins certainly not enough to play the scout role, to be lethal, 6 to 10 sub looks ideal

You mean the same carrier that already has cracks in the rear 3rd of its deck? I'll believe that when it proves itself. I'm not for Russian or Chinese claims with zero proof
It's fluid. You should try to find proof before making unfounded claims
Why?
I've seen images of the cracks in the deck if that's what you mean by proof.
@@JD-ft5zq You don't have proof - just your own guesses

Will be 5 years before they can match the sortie rate of anyone who matters
..and you know this how exactly?

Haha
i doubt that china will make something like that for their own fleet
Well the US NAVY it's the most powerful in the planet still 29 carriers plus the American Allies have carriers good luck China you will need it

Taiwan's new "Xionghang" stealthy high-altitude hypersonic orbit-changing cruise missile has a range of more than 2,000 kilometers; the "Xiong Falcon" stealthy, ground-to-sea supersonic orbit-changing cruise missile has a range of more than 800 kilometers.
Yes the same missiles whose guidance systems was sent to Mainland China for repairs
