Ian Moss (Mossy) is top tier in the Australian guitarists echelon. Tommy Emmanuel gets a spot at the top all to himself because he’s basically an alien, but there’s no one else above him. Not even Angus. They learnt to play loud, dynamic and catchy in the raucous pub environments and it shows.

As an Australian, I will ask - who is your audience? Who do you expect would like to hear the opinion of a person who presents himself as a drummer, with an accent that sounds like a meme, a tattooed sleeve that has absolutely no cultural refence to your identity and reviewing a band that is the exact opposite of who and what you are? Nothing personal, but enjoy the great music your parents and grandparents rejected, and understand that Cold Chisel are the antithesis of all you think is "cool". They have no tattoos, their lyrics are of a foreign vocabulary and nuance to anything you might understand and they are a perfect counter foil to all the rock and roll "legends" persons from your hemisphere revere. Your opinion, or "reaction", will matter zero in 3 months time and you have moved on to the next "undiscovered" sensation you weren't educated about. I suggest you start local and do a reaction to Sixto Rodriguez, from Detroit, since he is a legend in Australia, and yet most of your fellow citizens have never heard of him....
It’s always a joy when people like you pop up. 🤣 I guess my audience is 25,000 people 🤷🏻♂️ And you’re right, not really sure why they want to hang out with a tattooed meme but we do have some fun! People like you pop in, give me a good laugh, while leaving a comment and boosting the algorithm for a channel they despise ; And then disappear into the darkness. 😂🤣 They’ll be plenty more like you down the line. Nothing unique but always fun! 😁
@@paulthesurfer7470 as an Australian, I LIKE TO HEAR HIS OPINION. In fact I am a Patreon supporter and so pay to help him continue to do so. Why would you come here and disrespect a really genuinely nice guy and music lover? Who said only Australians can give opinions about Australian bands and music. I suggest if you don’t like his reactions, simply don’t watch and find something else to do. How sad are you to write a huge post and make massive (incorrect) assumptions about someone due to their appearance and accent. I mean if you are a fellow Aussie you really can’t diss his or anyone’s accent😂
What a gem Paul is. We Aussies enjoy a trip down memory lane and sharing the fun. The eighties was a great time to be alive and young. Paul... Aussie to Aussie ... Get the stick out your ask no questions tell no lies., and take a laxative. If your Aussie you should be able to translate that.

Not bad for pub band
Troggs i think where who sang it
You got nothing i won't
They wrote it on plane ride home from usa
After being rejected by promotors and radio stations
Flame tree's last stand version
Forever now
Cheap wine
Rising sun
Saturday Night
Janelle
My baby
Standing On the Outside
One long day live 1978
They have 38 song to choose its a deep rabbit hole
So gave verify of style and age
Then you have both jimmy and ians solo career's
Totally agree with live for some recordings for others
But guys like these and a few other's live always better
As it part of the feel and show man ship live for these guys as their always different
Due to the nature of the crowds and always give 100%
Which losted in recordings
Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
Jimmy had a "twinge" in the hip after a show and is soon to undergo corrective surgery. Hope it all works out. As a drummer, you didn't seem to pay much attention to Steve Prestwich (RIP). He has released a solo album that is really, really good. He can also sing very well.
Best version of this song. Not the best version on TH-cam as the sound is a bit muffled but still you got the idea !! Nice one. ❤
Loved the performance!!! I prefer the live versions just to see the energy of the room! Thanks for hanging! 🤘🏻
@@setonhillstudioscheck out the Chanel of the original poster in this conversation (Dr Kapp). She has a heap of killer remastered versions of songs and especially this one.
Why choose a dam cover?
There are so many original Cold Chisel songs to do, that almost no Americans have ever heard…

Didn’t choose it. It was a Patreon request and I loved it! 🔥
Old skool rock performance, chaotic and wild with out being a shambolic mess!! Definitely don't get this type of show anymore!!
Easily the best version ever. I finally got to see Chisel in the 2000s...the only better live concert i've seen was Metallica.
Might be the best version you’ve heard😳😳, please tell me who has done it better🤷♂️🤷♂️, Hendrix version isn’t even close to this😁😁
Haha 😂 That’s what I’m saying! It’s a banger!
listen to letter to Allen of circus animals album, hell the whole album rocks and some beautiful balads. and a song for yanky producers etc that didn't want to progress them in about 81 when they toured. you got nothing I want. too many songs mate from various albums. bring on 50 year gig 28th Nov Canberra
Great reaction but you picked the one with the worst audio. There are better sounding versions of this clip out there
It was a Patreon request so I was just reviewing the video that was requested 🤷🏻♂️
@@setonhillstudiosoh no I’m sorry if I sent the wrong link!
It was on their official channel so I figured it would be the best one 🤷🏻♀️
@@bringmechoc It’s all good! I loved it!!! 😁
@bringmechoc I think the version on their page is from their official video so it's understandable that's why it the one on there..check out some of the others that have Last Stand in brackets..the audio is much clearer...great request though...I was hoping someone would
As an Australian, I will ask - who is your audience?
