Filled out the I-129f, still need to make a packet of all of our information and such. So I'm at the very beginning of this journey. It's going to be a long process, but I know it will be worth it in the end. My Fiancé is Russian, and we finally met 2 months ago in Tbilisi Georgia for a short 8 days together. We've been together for almost a year now, and I'm really hoping by next year when we meet again, it will be time for an interview. He means the world to me, and I'm so grateful to have met him. Met 4 or 5 times?? Wellllll hopefully they approve my visa, we have only met once and waiting for the next time I get time off work for the 2nd, but been dating / engaged for a year
If I were you, I'd be more worried about the marriage actually working out than I would about her passing the interview. You said you only met once but you did not say for how long? A week? A month? In my opinion you should be living together for a least a month to even have a clue as to whether or not you are really compatible. And if she is by chance from Southeast Asia you should know that those girls are very emotionally immature and as such, they can seem very sweet at first, but they actually have very volatile personalities. Of course, if you get the Visa and she gets to the USA you will still have 90-days before you have to get married, and I would take full advantage of that time to see how she is adjusting to life in the USA and to being with you 24 hours a day every day. When people are in stressful situations from constantly being together that is when their true personalities show through. And lets face it, love does not mean squat if you are not truly compatible on every level.

This is great information, but man does it seem crazy how you can be in a legit relationship, but if the interviewer doesn't believe it then DENIED! My fiancee and I met in Oct 2022, got engaged in Nov 2023. She attempted the B2 visa first because she wanted to come visit before getting married. Since she is from Colombia and they are highly scrutinized she was denied the B2. So we decided to accelerate our plans for marriage. Will that B2 denial cause any issues?

hello, I just want to ask, behind those conversation between the Consul and the interviewee convincing story, how come that many applicants brought a bunch of proof of relationship like photos, emails, call logs, itinerary etc. in their interview ? Are they useful or are their any cases where the Consul asked those proof of relationship? Thank for reply and your useful information.
They can be helpful if VO asks for them, but most of the time they don’t ask for documents. They want you to communicate it clearly instead.
This is great information, but man does it seem crazy how you can be in a legit relationship, but if the interviewer doesn't believe it then DENIED! My fiancee and I met in Oct 2022, got engaged in Nov 2023. She attempted the B2 visa first because she wanted to come visit before getting married. Since she is from Colombia and they are highly scrutinized she was denied the B2. So we decided to accelerate our plans for marriage. Will that B2 denial cause any issues?
Any prior refusal will be a challenge. You need to be really prepared.

Hello, could you please have answer my question. I'm an 19 year old male and am an US citizen. I got married overseas where legal age of marriage for man is 21 years old. Meaning my marriage was not recognized by that county’s law. Should i consider K-1 Visa since technically we are not married by law. Also state my situation in an separate peice of paper in the K1 visa application?

I made a mistake on my DS160/k1 for the marital status aspect instead of clicking on single I clicked on other and box came out and I wrote Engaged in it.this was a silly mistake on my part will this affect my interview should I fill a new Ds160?

Hello I am waiting for an interview date in London for my K1 visa. My son who is 11 months old has a separate interview this month for Report Child born abroad as his father (my fiancé) is a US citizen is it correct I am applying for a K1 visa and my son a CRBA?
Also I had a US visa in 2019 for crew member on a cruise liner which I did for 6 months and never returned too due to covid. Will this impact me getting a K1 visa if I still have an active crew member visa?

Hey, so i applied for study visa in Australia 5 years ago And my agent didn't represent me well so my visa was refused and i received a letter of refusal saying that i didn't satisfy the provision of the migration regulations 1994. Will it effect my k1 visa which I'm applying this year???
