Thank you for giving us the alternate way to enter. I'm not a facebook person, so this makes me happy! BTW, gorgeous panel quilt. I have a couple of them and haven't had the inspiration to use them - now I do!
I'm not a Facebook person, so using the link within this page was a blessing. Good luck. Love the panel. I now have an idea on what to do with the three Kona Bay panels I've been hoarding.
Thank you for your great idea on panels and generosity in not only giving us the pattern for free but also the chance to win one of your gorgeous quilts. Blessings
WOW!!!! I absolutely love Jordan fabrics!!! I just found this site a few weeks back and am amazed at the tutorials, the quilts I see and the instructions and videos are great!!!! Jordan is quick BUT, she is soooo easy to follow because she gives right to the point easy to follow directions. I consider myself a beginner although I’ve been quilting my own way!, lol for 25 yrs. Started watching Jordan and I LOVE IT! Ive learned ways that were a nuisance to me but now are easier and more thrilling,,, I enjoy it now. Not dreading parts of the quilting process since I’ve started following her. She offers great selections of material and prints and I have made Jordan fabrics my 1st goto site for inspiration , material and tutorials!!! But I really want to express that if your a “show me and I learn quicker and easier” person, then I highly recommend this site. Thank you Jordan. Your site is my number 1 go to from here on!
THANK YOU! Not only for your Genius design ideas and terrific teaching style, but also for your generosity of spirit in sharing so many of your wonderful patterns at no cost. May all your kindnesses return to you packed down and pouring over !!!
Oh wow! Just beautiful and Donna you are an amazing seamstress. I am working my way through your videos and I’m addicted to them, I’m taking away some great ideas so Thankyou. 🇬🇧😊
Dear Donna, my grandaughter and I loved this pattern! Everytime she comes over we watch another one of your fascinating tutorials. The first quilt that she sewed was your "Best First Quilt for Begginers". She has it in her room. Thank you so much for making these so easy that even a 10 year old understands. We love you so!!
Love your tutorials!! I’ve got to admit the when I see you cutting up the panel and the adding the other material, I said “what is she doing?” But after seeing the final result I said she’s a genius!!!
This is a beautiful panel. I love to watch you and Matt work and you sew so beautifully. I love watching you sew. Thanks so much for your free patterns.
Ok Donna, I am in love with this panel. I am scared, but I have to go for it. The thing I want you to know is you are teaching an old dog new tricks. I have been quilting for 45 years and love to expand my horizons. I love learning from you and your husband ,Glenda
the panel turned out beautiful. i have never seen anyone use a weight to keep the ruler from sliding. that is genius! i am going to buy one tomorrow. i am so glad i found your site.
I joined a quilt guild a year ago after I retired. I am finding that my heart is not in it. When I saw your beautiful panel wall hanging I realized this is getting closer to what I want to do. Thank you for the wonderful, beautiful idea. I also really liked the ironing board your husband made in a tutorial. Thanks. Kathleen Merrill
Wow your sewing machine must be a beast, you whip through those strips so fast. Love all your TH-cam videos. Wish I could sew half as good as you. Oh and your kits are great, love the way they are cut and go together beautifully. Thanks
I love and keep coming back to it. ☺ I have a small panel, only 21"x21" but I going to try it anyway. A poppy field with 3 trees..very bright and deciding what fabric to put with it is my challenge.
You are so generous with your giveaways! I personally appreciate you and your tutorials. I know they can be time consuming so thank you for each one you make. And thank you for the giveaways!
You have given me permission to stretch and use fabrics I normally wouldn't. The grey on this panel didn't appeal to me on the bolt, but it's perfect in the quilt. Thanks so much! I learn every time. :)
Donna and Matt, I just LOVE to watch your tutorials. Please excuse my English, as it is my 2nd language. I am only starting to watch and learn how to quilt at the age of 54. I live in South Africa (born and raised). Please don't ever be put down by the thumbs down "know it all" people. You find them all over the world. It is pure and simple jealousy.
Beautiful, just beautiful!!! I was just sitting here after watching and thinking. I love Jenny Doan because she is casual and funny in her quilting. But you are perfection & precise! Love the difference & so glad I found you & Matt!
I have a difficult time choosing companion fabrics so I wasn't surprised when my knee-jerk reaction to your choice was negative. But it turned out exquisite and that's why you get paid the big bucks. Bravo.
I enjoy your videos so much, you get to the point with clear instruction and tricks. The two variations are hard to say which is nicer than the other. Thank you from Australia Melbourne.
This is fabulous! I've never worked with panels as they always seemed boring to work with. You have just changed my mind! I can't wait to give them a try now. Thank you!
Donna this quilt is more than just lovely; it is just inspiring! The panel fits so well with your inch strips. Your inventive ideas are the so exciting that my brain kicks into gear for a similar plan. I have a baby panel that I just didn't know how to handle it This will do the job perfectly. Thanks so much for sharing and especially for showing how to complete the project.
Thank you so much !! you made quilting and binding so much easy!! I will make sure I connect with you for help. you will be my first quit teacher!! with God's love
Beautiful, Donna! I never buy panels because I hate when they are just plopped in the middle of a design with borders around--so boring and "short-cut" looking. This was fabulous, though. Thanks. I also agree with others that you might want to find an alternative give-away method to Facebook. REQUEST: I have a lot of Asian fabric (no panels, though) and would like some patterns to show off the beautiful large motifs. Thanks for great tutorials.
What exctes me ALSO BESIDES THIS VIDEO, is the inspiration to use my husband's same shaped as yours, hand weight without damage! to any other tools or cutting mats.
What a beautiful panel. It looks stunning. I love all three quilts you are giving away. It would be an honor to have one of your quilts in my home. Thanks for all your tutorials. You have inspired me so much. I am working on a quilt of valor for my husband who served in the Navy. I don't have it all quilted yet but I will post a picture on your facebook page.
Donna! This is just awesome! I of course like many quilters have a few panels in my "stash" that were bought because I loved the subject. Thank you again for your talent
Hi Donna. I love watching your step by step videos they are so inspirational to me. I've never used a panel as I wasn't quite sure how to use one but now I know, I will buy one, Thank you
I would love you walking around your store with showing the quilts of what you made and the the name of them. It would be easier for me to order what I want to make. Thank you. You are awesome
Thanks for the info about the link!!! I never miss a tutorial, nor do I miss the opportunity to spend money on your awesome kits...expecting one in the mail tomorrow!! Woohoo!
Really love all your videos. Making the “Hip to be Square” quilt now. Been saving black and white fabrics for a long time waiting to find the perfect pattern. Good job! Keep the tutorials coming. Wish I lived close enough to visit your beautiful store.
Loved this tutorial!! I have a beautiful oriental panel I've been hanging on to for years, just waiting for the right pattern to come along, and now I've found it. Thanks for sharing this!!
Im also having trouble through Facebook so hope that my thumbs up here will be acceptable to enter your competition, thanks for the excellent tutorials your make them so easy to follow.
Hi Donna, I love how you teach, I have lost my sewjo for a while now, but still love seeing your creations. I need a better space for sewing, hence, no sewjo, anyway, been missing in action for awhile but have watched some of your older videos, WELL I now noticed on a few others, you are sewing on a brand new machine. I had to come and watch a lot this morning to see when you actually changed machines. I hope you are really enjoying your new Juki, so much quieter than older machine, aren't they. :) I also notice you started with the finger guard on the presser foot and later, didn't have it on. I have been an industrial Sewing Machinist for about 37 years now, so I do notice those things. Anyway, looking very forward to seeing you journey with your lovely new machine. Thank you for such clear instructions on all parts of your creations. Merry Christmas from Australia.
This is an outstanding idea. It needs Matt to turn it into a precut kit so we can use it as a center panel for a quilt. All we'd need do is create the appropriate borders.
I couldn’t get to your page either. Loved the tutorial. What a creative way to use a panel. I’m with you Donna - Kaffe is my favorite! I definitely want to be entered to win one of the gorgeous quilts. Thanks for such an awesome and generous giveaway. 😍😍😍
I absolutely love your tutorials, the patterns and colours you put together. I also like the way you show another colour quilt in the same pattern at the end of your tutorials. I wish we had a similar fabric store in England, as you have a wonderful selection. Could I please ask if you would do a tutorial on the double wedding ring quilt to give ideas on what can be done with these templates and the colour schemes. Thank you. Sandy, UK
Beautiful! I have a Halloween panel that has been waiting in my stash and now I know how I’m going to sew it. I always enjoy your tutorials! And I have to say this again - the tip for using the weight on the end of the ruler is fabulous! Since I started using a weight, I haven’t had my ruler slip. No more wasted cuts of fabric! Looking forward to your next video.
Thank you for showing where to find this on the computer. I’m New the you tube and also tech challenged. I’ve had a hard time finding things on others site. You guys are fantastic.
