OUR STORY SO FAR:
We are Cory & Kristen Williams and in August 2014 we made the long drive from Southern California to Alaska to move into our new home in Eagle River. Here we’ve had the chance to explore Alaska, experience lots of wild events, meet lots of great people and endure the extreme temperatures that the north is known for. On December 20th, 2014 we got engaged after our Polar Plunge under the Northern Lights then later married by our favorite lake on May 23rd, 2015. Then on June 23rd, 2016 we had our first child. A baby girl named Chell.

I actually came here a year or two ago when I saw a facebook video of Cory skipping that rock. I just thought "This guy is crazy" .... I'm going to see what he's about and I've stayed since then. I'm honestly glad I subcribed. I usually get several vlogs around the time Cory's comes up. Daily Bumps, Cullen & Katie, Ellie & Jared, Shaytards and normally I click on LiveEachDay's vlog first.
What I like most about Cory and Kristen is that they are so real. Like I always get the feeling some other vloggers (I won't name any) try too hard and put up a front in order to get people to like them and to get more subscribers. Like they will literally go out of their way to make a Vlog fun and interesting. Cory and Kristen don't do that, not saying they aren't fun, just saying they are real and when something is tough or hard, they don't sugar coat it. I love this channel for that and i'll be subscriber for as long as possible.

I love this about them too! I feel like they are one of the more genuine big daily vloggers. We do daily vlogs also, but are small still. My goal is not to do anything that we wouldn't normally do for the vlogs. :)

11:15 watermark your videos
That doesn't always work. I've done that in the past but people just edit over it. They'll either re-crop the video, put text over it or add an emoji to hide it.
LiveEachDay thieves are getting smarter everyday
Can you not have something like a faint watermark that fills the screen?
You can have a watermark that wanders the screen and put up a legal notice about anyone using your video.
The best thing is to have a t-shirt on with the name on it, which you do.

Recently I saw your 'baby news' video on Facebook, I raced back here and saw all that you've been up to since those early days as Mr. Safety. I absolutely love your little family. Chell is the sweetest thing. Seeing how much you two care for her, it makes my heart want to burst. She is so blessed with parents like you and you are so blessed with her. Saw a few friends sharing those FB videos and was sure to comment about your channel. I really enjoy you guys and you really deserve to have the success rather than random FB pages. I think it's just the way most people are if they aren't specifically into youtube. I've noticed that little teaser videos do the best in terms of actually getting *seen* on FB because of the way they write their algorithms, they don't give direct links to youtube a fair shot. However, out of those hundreds of views on FB, only a handful of them will actually click through and come onto YT to watch the whole thing (even worse, now that FB took away the "watch more" call to action) I think some people just want to stay within FB and don't want to have to go elsewhere to watch which is kinda a shame. It's definitely hard not to feel discouraged by it, especially for your best work that you feel most proud of and just want to share with people you think would enjoy it.

I found you 2 years ago through facebook when I saw your skipping rock video. After watching the original video, I was interested in the two people I saw and went back and watched all of your living in Alaska videos (i believe it was around 40 videos?) and fell in love with you two. I became so invested in your lives and wanted to see where life took you next. So for those 3k people that came to check out this channel, I hope they stay and become apart of this great community. :)
I saw those videos go viral on a few pages and friends pages and they didn't tag you guys so I was telling everyone you had a TH-cam account and what it was and most of them said they subscribed you. I really want to be a stay at home mom so if I can help another mom get closer to that goal I'm happy :)

I got to this channel when it started. Like, the day you posted the announcement saying you'd start this vlog channel.
Before that, I was of course subscr... Well, not subscribed, as I didn't know how TH-cam even WORKED back then, but I followed your stuff without an account (later getting one) since Kung Fu Mosquito. I mean, I saw the Mean Kitty video, but I didn't start getting into your stuff until after Kung Fu Mosquito.
That's 8 years ago. I was 14... I've been following this since I was in 8th grade, completely despising everything that had to do with school and just being bleh about everything. I'm now about to turn 23 and... Well, still being kinda bleh about everything, but at least now I have friends that I can be bleh about everything with, so it's not all that bad.
Kinda weird looking back through not only the things I've seen from you, but also the things that's happened since then...

Well, me i follow you since the mean kitty song that i clicked randomly on TH-cam because i love cats and i love to laugh and having fun and never really stopped following you.
About TH-cam i could say that i am a casual youtuber, my main passion is music and singing so i post sometime songs that i cover on TH-cam for my-self first and because it's easier to share a youtube link to my friends and family to show them the singing that i do. I don't really have subscribers or lot of viewers on my video and i don't really care about that stuff, since i sing just for me but i do like show my talents sometime just for fun. That being said it would be funny to seeing one of my song cover being viral one day lol who know lol.

I remember when you started DudeLikeHella originally and I think I even remember you talking about how you were gonna move up to Alaska before I must of stopped watching. I've been watching some of the newer vlogs over the past few days and loving them! Chell is such a cutie, and you and Kristen seem so happy together. That was the day I saw you for the first time in the pregnancy announcement video. I had happy tears that day and after wiping my tears, I searched for your other videos. I found the coolest sound ever and I felt very energetic so I decide to watch all of your vlogs since the beginning of DukeLikeHella with my wife of course. Few months later, We catch up with you guys and follow you day by day since. We are glad to be a part of your daily viewers and without knowing it, by sharing your life, you have helped us prepare for the birth of our daughter. We await her arrival in a few days. Oh man, that snow is sooo beautiful. We're vloggers living in Vegas at the moment, so I feel like we'll never see snow again haha. I think two years ago, we got a little snow, but it never actually stuck. We have to go out in the mountains to experience it! On a separate note, have you thought of using a sleep sack for Chell? I used to nanny for a family and their youngest slept with a sleep sack, which looks similar to the sleep suit, except it's more like a blanket/bag that keeps the feet enclosed and they can kick around and move exactly how they'd like to (and their feet don't get stuck). LiveEachDay It was strange at the time too, honestly haha. Just a couple big, fat flakes for about 15 minutes. Thankfully, we have a mountain nearby that gets snow every winter. Can't wait for it to get cold enough here to go enjoy it!
That's the reason I dont like facebook. There are so many magnificent people out there, and also a lot of pages on Facebook that take their moments so that more people watch them. But no one takes the time to look to the people wo made it, they maybe like the picture subscribe to the channel and then scroll to the next thing.
I'm happy to be one of the 3000! I found you in August or September & started getting caught up then. By caught up, I mean watching the Living In Alaska vlogs from the beginning. Cory, your wonder at the magic of your (then) new home is such an inspiration. I struggle with anxiety and depression, and your words of positivity often happen right when I need that reminder that this world we live in is an amazing, wondrous place. I love watching your and Kristen's story unfold, and then flipping to the new videos and seeing the confidence that Kristen now has with being on camera. I feel like I really am a part of your family, and that is precious to me. Thank you, both of you, for the kindness and positivity that you show. It needs to be emulated everwhere.
