OUR STORY SO FAR:
We are Cory & Kristen Williams and in August 2014 we made the long drive from Southern California to Alaska to move into our new home in Eagle River. Here we’ve had the chance to explore Alaska, experience lots of wild events, meet lots of great people and endure the extreme temperatures that the north is known for. On December 20th, 2014 we got engaged after our Polar Plunge under the Northern Lights then later married by our favorite lake on May 23rd, 2015. Then on June 23rd, 2016 we had our first child. A baby girl named Chell.

Chell's such a big girl now. I watched her delivered with Dad, Grandparents and of course, mom in the room and now she has her own personality. She is so beautiful.
I smiled this huge smile as soon as you started singing "Still Alive" to Chell. So awesome.

That Still Alive song at the end was way too funny. Can you imagine Chell singing that in preschool? "...except the ones who are dead..." with a big smile on her face! Fond memories of that game...

My baby (7 months old next week) loves, loves the intro song. She stopped what she was doing so she could listen to it, and when it was done she paused, and then smiled.

1:04 aw bless, I think she's trying to give the doll a kiss. My brother used to that all the time when he was a baby/toddler. If someone would walk by he'd pout his lips as if he was trying to give them a kiss.

I just want to say that you are such an inspiration for our little family here in Brazil! We've been living one of the most difficult times of our lives, facing infertility and we've already had one failed IVF, which really crushed our hearts... after that, I stopped watching family videos, because it's painful for me. Except for you, guys! You always make me laugh and smile and I really love watch you! You are the cutest family of all times!

You guys should check out Scentsy, they are wax cubes you put in special warmers so your house smells nice. They have lots of smells to choose from and you can always mix the scents to get new smells.

One thing I always like about snow, is the crunching sound walking on it makes. Foley artists simulate it by squeezing unopened corn starch boxes.

Kristen, here's a good lifehack thing for jars. It really helps to break the seal that keeps it airtight, otherwise it's much harder to open. Now, you notice many jar caps have those little notches on the bottom part? Simply get a spoon and crowbar those notches outward. If you hear a little *ffph* of air, that's when you know it's no longer airtight and you can open it easily then. :)
hi from Iowa. looks like Penny loves the snow, I wish my dog hadn't died last year, I miss her so much. Chell is so sweet, it's neat to see her personality grow. can't wait to see her reaction to the snow.

I love neighbors that play like that! I used to have EPIC water fights in the summer and snowball fights in the winter with my neighbor. Also it was not unusual for either of us to have snowballs in the freeze for summertime!

That is the best bedtime song ever, and I say this as someone who's never had a chance to play Portal. (Someone linked the song on social media and there's a parody of it using one of MY favorite game franchises.)

Oh my gosh you already got a bunch of snow!! Over here near Chicago Illinois we see our first snow fall any time in November probably more like the middle or end of November. ITs normally to have snow by Thanksgiving. But that's what our snow looks like when we get snow. I like when we get a huge snowstorm because its fun to take pictures of and feels all warm and cozy inside the house.

Kristen I use the cinnamon, cloves and bay leaf when I don't have the orange peel. it smells just the same, and what's best about it, I drink it for my tea only when there's no orange peel in there. it taste so good, nothing goes to waste lol

This made me so happy! I just cosplayed chell from portal this weekend, which is my favorite game (thanks to you cory) It was my dream cosplay to do, and I worked for over a year on all the parts. Hearing you sing the theme made me so excited :) Such a great game!
