OUR STORY SO FAR:
We are Cory & Kristen Williams and in August 2014 we made the long drive from Southern California to Alaska to move into our new home in Eagle River. Here we’ve had the chance to explore Alaska, experience lots of wild events, meet lots of great people and endure the extreme temperatures that the north is known for. On December 20th, 2014 we got engaged after our Polar Plunge under the Northern Lights then later married by our favorite lake on May 23rd, 2015. Then on June 23rd, 2016 we had our first child. A baby girl named Chell.

WHAT DOES "DudeLikeHELLA" MEAN?:
"Dude" is me, Cory. I am the dude. "Like" is a joining word which is used to express similarities and "HELLA" is slang for "a lot" or in my case, "the greatest amount". So together, "DudeLikeHELLA" means "The best me I can be".

Dear Cory and Kristen,
I found you guys recently, like in the last few months actually. And I fell in love with how happy and charismatic and genuine you guys are. I came from an abusive home. Both of my parents shouldn't have had kids, but here I am. I can say not everyone feels the way you guys do about Chell. And that's what makes you so so special. Thank you for having Chell, and for loving her, and raising emotionally secure and healthy babies that will grow into emotionally secure and happy, and healthy adults. I love you guys for that. Keep being the love the world needs.
Kayla, I came from a very similar situation as you. However, I had a good mom. I'm sorry you had to go through that but hopefully it has made you a stronger and more appreciative person when it comes to love and what it truly is. Thanks for the kind words and for stopping in to see us!
Thank you for your kinds words! Both of my parents were a mess and pretty terrible. But you're absolutely right, it made me strong, smart, I'm working on the whole love thing. But you guys help show me what it should be, how it should look, and how to act. Between you, the DeFrancoFam and the Shaytards, I get my doses of family and love. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us!
I figured it out! Chelle makes the adorable 'whoo, whoo' sound because she has so many owls in her room lol. She has become a baby owl! She's so precious lol that little smile is contagious!
AHH you're right! The owls have assimilated her! They're taking over! ;)
I thought the same thing when she was making her whoo whoo noises and I noticed the owls on her shirt (or was it a bib, I don't remember) But I was like "OH it all makes sense now!" lol

I felt that way that Corey described with my dog. I have Asperger's and was so amazed at the feelings I felt for him and that little face just melted my heart. I'm actually happy to see Chell it makes me feel that cute fuzzy feeling again.
I've got a bit of a miracle story for you!
Within the few years before I was born, my mom was trying to have a child. She ended up having miscarriage after miscarriage, and eventually her doctor told her she wasn't able to have kids at all.
Then, she met my dad. A year after that, I appeared to her in a dream and told her "It's okay Mommy, i'll be here soon."
And shortly after that, she became pregnant with me!
I was born a month early, and spent a month in nicu, then she was able to take me home on Easter day. 3 years later, we were shopping at Value Village, and she got a nightgown for me. I came down the stairs at home wearing it, and she says it was the same sight from her dream.
She calls me her miracle baby :)
Chell is so precious....I really like following this family. My grand kids love their twinkle toes.

I feel like I'm repeating myself video after video, but you guys just are the best. Watching these vlogs always makes me so happy. Not that much into babies, but this is still one of the best things I know.

I love you guys, I hate seeing the word "goals" thrown around about celebrities or famous couples that we barely know but I genuinely feel like you both are hella amazing examples of what a loving and happy relationship should be, you guys warm my heart and Chell and any possible siblings way into the future are going to grow up in the most amazingly fun and loving environment, thank you for making these videos and giving me 12 minutes of joy each day ❤️

Cute Sketchers! I had a college friend who was a frugal shopping queen. When she was pregnant she would only buy kid clothes off the clearence rack...didn't matter the size because eventually it will fit she said. Problem was that she was always forgetting about what she had bought because it wasn't stored together or where it could be seen.
We got her organized by storing each size in different tote. As her daughter changed sizes, she changed totes and had an instant wardrobe. It worked well for her so I am passing the idea along! Thanks for sharing your family's adventures!
My kid's now just over a year old. Just wait till she first uses those arms to hug you back. Just when you think you can't love her more, well... you'll know :)

😂 I was about to comment that she should add a reminder on her calendar. In 2-3 years she'll be getting a bunch of messages about the light up shoes and she might be so confused if she forgets about them. Haha

Yesterday's vlog showed Kristen torturing Cory with a video about tiny things. Cory's totally afraid of them. Hard to explain, but if you check it out you'll see he's freaking out and she's laughing. It's pretty funny, but he did seem really upset (as he says today), so she wanted to make up for it. I thought it was sweet.

I just want to say.... that watching you guys is soooo very therapeutic. I'm going through a really hard time in my life and I think there was a purpose of me stumbling across your vlogs. For the first time in awhile I can forget all of my pain and genuinly belly laugh n feel it through my heart. I lived in Wasilla AK, for awhile so your experiences crack me up. Aww it's so cute watching Chell trying to roll over. I'm pregnant right now and today's my second appt, I'm praying by our baby will be okay because I've had a miscarriage before. And I know when we have our child I'm gonna just love them and cherish them. :)

Kristen, our baby is a similar age as Chell and he has crazy arms and can't sleep without his Merlin magic suit or swaddle! we have discovered zipadee zip suits recently though and they have been amazing. highly recommend, they wash and dry much easier than the magic suit too :)
That Mug is awseome! Maybe you can do like Chells hand prints on the mug with some paint! :) that would be super cute!

Is it silly to be smiling from ear to ear as soon as this vlog starts with Kristen and Chell out and about? Chell is getting so big and she is so beautiful. Just like her mama! :) When Kristen said that she felt guilty about what she did in the last vlog and that she had gotten Cory something to make up for it-she made up for it alright! That cup was BIG. Cool though. By the way, love those sneakers! I want a pair in a women's size 8 or 8 1/2 wide. Just for fun!

I am 68 yrs. Old I have 2 boys in there 40's. As you notice I call them my boys, they will always be my boys,I love them with all my heart.i always wanted to be a mommy,that's what I wanted to be when I grew up. They will always be my babies.
Can't wait for Chell to be a toddler, but at the same time I don't want that because I'm living out my want for another baby by watching you guys.😂
Still need to finish school before any more babies are in this house, so cute vlogger babies are the trick to survive .. *sigh*

babies usually roll from their stomach to back first. it's easier for them, plus tummy time makes her neck stronger so she can hold head up, and keeps her from getting a flat head in the back

You should put some child-safe paint on Chell's hands and have her handprints on the mug. Does anyone else agree?
Someone has probably already commented this helpful hint, but oh well:
If you blast a box fan or an oscillating fan on the sleep suit, it will definitely cut the drying time down to possibly half the time if it's hanging in the right place.
It sounds silly, but if you hang the suit somewhere it can get air on all sides it really helps. (Like shower curtain rod. Not a doorknob.) Keep the bathroom fan on too.
