    • @sukoon5689
      @sukoon5689 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Firstly, you should have some power natural through diet...
      Then your wrist will have the power...
      Eat well, and practice backhand as more as possible.

    You know what might be of immense interests to netizens? Disguised shots such as those made by the Queen of Badminton Tai Tzu Ying...do those and I guarantee your following will increase noticeably. Those shots are technically quite easy for master players like yourselves. Since you are the only channel which seems to demo trick shots, you might as well continue this theme with shots people are familiar with from watching players like TTY. You covered her reverse BH drop already (it’s not hers exclusively but she is known to do it well)

    This is topic referred to a lot but not much details given...could you do one video just on finger power...what exactly does it mean and how to use it properly...thx.

    • @BadmintonFamly
      @BadmintonFamly  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you are correct, the finger power is almost used in all our strokes, but we will dig down in the topic later on 😁

    • @chitung2277
      @chitung2277 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hear this term referred by other people but I think they mean different thing. So thanks in advance for clarifying in another video, such as the one for ‘wrist power’

    • @chitung2277
      @chitung2277 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think what I am confused the most when I hear finger power is how it’s possible to have a loose grip AND still use finger power

    • @BadmintonFamly
      @BadmintonFamly  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Index finger and thumb grips the racket just like you normally do. Then don't grip the racket with the rest of the fingers. When you don't you have a loose grip. When you grip the racket with pinky and ring finger we get power in the racket. These two finger are controlled by strong muscles in the forearm. This is finger power 🙏

    • @chitung2277
      @chitung2277 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah, perfect explanation which I have never heard from anyone else before. So when gripping with the bottom fingers , we have a FIRM grip. Otherwise it’s a lose grip. And if no fingers, then it’s no grip LOL. Thank you kind Sirs...

  • @tonihuynh181

    I have a question but its not relate to this video. When we smash we relax body to increase the power but when I try to generate more power , I always tight my shoulder. So, my question is when we try hard smash what is the part of body we should tight and lose ?

    • @BadmintonFamly
      @BadmintonFamly  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      We tighten the muscles when moving the one part of body at the time. So the legs move either by kicking or pushing the ground. Then use the muscles to extend the hips or rotate and so on up through the body and out in the racket. Practise all the movements and as long as the movement involves the whole body you will get more efficient meaning the muscles which is tightening and which is not at certain points of the strokes will improve

    • @tonihuynh181
      @tonihuynh181 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BadmintonFamly thanks for information about kicking / pushing leg and use hip. But I want to ask you more detail about shoulder. After I kicked my leg and use the hip then I raised my arm. I always tight my shoulder. Sometimes it make me feel pain. I want to ask what the part of body in the movement I raise my arm and smash. Because I feel powerless when I didnt tight my shoulder. But this is bad habits. Am I right ?

      Start with forehand grip and then change to the grip that fits the stroke👌🏻

    Just wondering, what rank are you guys? (A, B, C, etc)

    • @BadmintonFamly

      Tricky to say because A, B, C etc are probably different in each country. Be me Thomas is the former world champion in mixed doubles in 2009 with Kamilla Rytter Juhl, so you can say the level is at the highest, well it used to be, I stopped my career at the Olympics in 2012💪🏻

    Hi, I'm French. I play for some time badminton but when I make a match I lose my temper which makes me often lose you have solutions to control his stress?

    • @BadmintonFamly
      @BadmintonFamly  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Really tricky just to add a comment to solve this, it takes time to think correctly. Try next time before the game to prepare for the situations where you get angry, and when they come in the game then you are prepared for it and then easier just to say "hi trouble brain" please go away I´m playing and you are not helping 😎
