    라켓을 엄지+검지로 컨트롤 한다는 것만이 정답은 아닙니다. 이와 반대인 그립을 사용하는 사람도 분명 있습니다. 나중에 이를 비교할 수 있는 영상도 만들어보겠습니다. It's not only right answer to just control the racquet with thumb and index finger. Some people control the grip with the middle and ring fingers. I'll make a video to compare them later.

    I just watch this video last night n try this kind of grip when I play this morning. I am amazed, I feel that my smash gets more powerfull, my reaction time gets faster, n my defense becomes more solid. Such small details, but change my game a lot. Thanks Coach.
    Greetings from Indonesia🇮🇩

      When we write, we hold the pen with our thumb and forefinger. The same goes for spoons and chopsticks. This means that the thumb and index finger are the most sensitive and quick fingers.
      On the other hand, if you need to lift heavy objects, use your middle and ring fingers.
      keep in mind Each of your fingers has a different role.
      controller, power generator.
      Keep practicing and make it completely yours.

    I just figured this out about the index finger few days ago. My shots lack of power due to holding tightly the handle with the index finger. I fixed this, and my smashes and other overhead shots become better. But it took me 2 years to realize this problem :(. Your videos are very helpful, the best channel that I've found on the Internet. Keep the good work. Thanks for the great video.

      In that video, you should highlight the importance of the "gap" in the palm of the hand. In western world, they use hand shake as an analogy of sliding the racket into the hand to hold the racket but ignore the gap in the palm. Often there is no gap in the palm of the hand when you observe a western player's hand or the grip in the hand.

    이스턴 그립을 연습하는데 이스턴 그립을 잡고 계속 치면 그립과 맞닿는 부분인 엄지 옆부분이 통증이 있어서 그런데 잘못 잡은 건가요 ? 또 중지와 엄지가 무조건 닿아야 하나요 아니면 떨어져 있어도 되나요?

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      잘못됐다기 보다는 아직 연습량이 부족해서 굳은살이 안 생긴 게 아닐까요. 배드민턴을 쉬었다가 다시해도 쉽게 물집이 잡힐 수 있는 곳입니다. 안 하던 운동, 처음 배우는 자세를 할 땐 항상 다칠 위험이 있죠. 적당히 조절해가면서 해야합니다.
      무조건 닿아야 하는 건 아닙니다.

    • @user-yn7jw6zc2g
      @user-yn7jw6zc2g 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      그러면 라켓을 세로로 세운 상태에서 잡으면 이스턴인가요?

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      일반적으로 그렇게 부르죠. 라켓헤드를 아래로 바라보는 상태에서(오른손 잡이 기준) 라켓헤드가 약간 바깥쪽으로 돌려잡는 분들이 많은데요, 그게 반드시 정답은 아닙니다. 본인에 맞게 터득하는 방법이 가장 좋습니다. 한 예로, 정상급 플레이어인 '로 킨 유'라는 단식선수를 찾아보세요. 그 선수는 그립이 일반적인 방향과 반대입니다. 그럼에도 특별한 장점을 많이 갖고있죠.

    hi Coach.. when playing doubles.. and ur partner lifts the shuttle high up in the air, what defense preparation grip would u use? would u prepare by using the grip in 1:58? or full thumb back hand grip?
    I love ur content and thank you in advance Coach !!

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Unless it's a shuttlecock that comes in front of your face, it's almost impossible to use your full thumb.
      When I first teach badminton to beginners, I refer to the full thumb as the backhand grip for convenience. Even if you tell me about various grips, not only beginners can't do it, but they do it because they think it's difficult.

    • @jkw6196
      @jkw6196 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@full-swing Thank you for replying Coach... so should I just prepare my defense with the grip uve shown at 1:58 ? because what happens when the opponent smash flat at u and u want to block or do a backhand push? if I'm using the grip at 1:58 .. would I be too slow to respond?

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. I mostly use that grip. Changing the grip itself takes time and causes inaccuracies. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to make every stroke without changing the grip frequently?

    • @full-swing

      Um...well. I don't know because I haven't seen it myself. I need to know how your fingers work and what power they can produce... I don't know right now. However, I think it would be better for you to know the principle of exercise first than the technical one. I will make a video about this.

    For the forehand grip i find it uncomfortable to put my index finger above thumb, my index finger automatically moves below thumb, is this fine or is it something I should work on?

      There is nothing wrong with your grip method either. There are players who play just like you. If you're comfortable with it, do it. it's okay.

    Wow what a great video !
    When it comes to the thumb, I see all other channels say to use your entire thumb , but you say not to do that ? Why are they saying contrary to what you teach ?

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not use a grip that supports the thumb as a whole.
      When the shuttlecock comes in front of my face and chest, I use a grip that supports my thumb. Otherwise, to widen the range of motion of the swing, hold the grip with your thumb away. That way your thumb doesn't brake the swing.
      How many times does the shuttlecock come in front of your face in one match? there won't be many

    영상 열심히 보고 있는 구독자입니다. 요즘 이런 짤막한 영상들 아주 멋있습니다~!!!
    저는 그립법(손가락 사용? 과는 다른 말인거 같기는 한데 ^^;;)이 매~우 중요하다고 생각하고 있습니다. 민턴이 발로 하는 운동이다! 라는것에도 공감하지만, 그립법(특히 손가락 사용)이 정말 중요하다고 생각합니다. 해서 평소에 아주 매우 고민이 되고 궁금해했던 질문 올려봅니다. 먼저 이런 귀중한 영상(오래전부터 정말 궁금해했던 부분)이 올라오다니,,,코치님과 피디님 대단하십니다. 감탄했습니다!!! 이 영상 정말 많이 되감기 하겠네요 ㅋ
    저는 기본적으로 세손가락(엄지 검지 제외한 나머지 손가락)으로 라켓을 가볍게 지탱하고 임팩트시 엄지 검지를 사용(움켜쥔다?)하는거라고 배워왔습니다. 특히 포핸드(스매싱 중점)는 검지가 제일 위로 올라와야한다고 배워왔습니다. 그런데 풀스윙 영상을 거의 다 본 구독자로써 한코치님의 그립법은 생소했습니다.(아래 1번 질문 그립법)
    스매싱 할때 엄지가 제일 위냐 검지가 제일 위냐, 이것때문에 국대선수들 슬로우 영상도 몇번을 본지 모르겟습니다. 선수들마다 차이가 잇는건지 아니면 영상이 그렇게 보이는건지 잘 모르겟습니다.(즉, 검지가 제일 위다! 이게 맞는건지)
    그런데 한코치님 영상 보면 엄지와 검지로 지탱하고 세손가락으로 땡기는 레슨이 많이 보게되어 저도 연습을 해보았습니다. (이 방법으로는 엄지가 제일 위로 올라 오게 됩니다-어디까지나 저 같은 경우입니다 ^^;) 백푸시 백드라이브는 되는데, 포핸드가 이 방법으로 하면 상당히 어색합니다.
    1. 처음부분 영상---> 엄지검지로 라켓을 지탱하고 있는 상태에서 나머지 세손가락을 땡기는 그립법(이 그립법은 엄지손톱이 검지손톱보다 위인게 맞는거죠?) - 저는 이 그립법이 백은 되는데, 포핸드를 할때는 엄지가 제일 위로 올라가는 형태가 됩니다. 검지가 제일 위로 올라오게 해서 잡으면 엄지검지 두 손가락만으로 라켓을 지탱하는게 어렵습니다 ㅠㅠ(가운데 손가락이 개입되면 가능). 그래서 세손락을 땡기는게 동작이 불가능합니다.
    2. 두번째 스매쉬 그립 영상 ---> 여기서는 확실이 검지가 제일 위인데, 이 그립법으로 칠려고 하면 나머지 세손가락으로 라켓을 지탱하고 임팩트시 엄지와 검지를 잡는건가요? 이 부분이 위 질문 그립법하고 상반대는 것 같습니다.
    3. 결론, 1번질문 그립법(엄지와 검지로 라켓을 지탱후 나머지손가락으로 땡긴다)과 2번질문 그립법(세손가락으로 지탱후 엄지와 검지를 임팩트시 잡는다)은 그때 상황에 맞게 바꿔 쓰는건가요? 아니면 모든 스트록의 그립법은 1번 질문의 그립법으로 하는것이 맞는건가요?
    글로 표현하려니 참 답답하네요 ㅋ.
    저의 민턴 인생에서 최대 궁금증이며 혼란스러운 부분입니다. ㅠㅠㅋ
    바쁘시겠지만 명쾌한 답변 꼭 부탁드립니다~^^;;

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. 준비 그립에서 포핸드로 전환할 때는 어깨를 뒤로 젖히게 되죠. 그때 그립을 돌려주면서 엄지는 조금 내려가게 될겁니다. 엄지+검지를 그대로 잡은 상태에서 스윙하자는 게 아닙니다. 다시 한 번 자세히 봐주세요.
      2. 엄지로 지탱하고 검지는 누르고 나머지 세 손가락은 당기는 거죠. 이걸 좀 다르게 하는 사람도 있습니다.
      전반적으로 영상을 잘못 이해하신듯합니다. (제가 잘못 만든 거겠죠...) 엄지와 검지만으로 잡고 있는 건 양쪽 전환을 빠르게 하기 위한 준비상태입니다. 그 상태 그대로 스윙을 못하는 건 아니지만, 동호인에게는 조금 어려울 겁니다.
      포핸드/백핸드를 결정짓지 않은 상태에서 어떤 그립을 하고 준비할 것인가가 이 영상이 던지는 질문입니다. 한코치의 경우엔 엄지와 검지로 잡고있다가, 나머지 손가락을 움켜쥐는 게 더 좋다는 의견입니다. 물론 그 반대로 하시는 분들도 있습니다.(엘리트 포함)
      이 두가지가 어떻게 다른지 비교 영상도 만들어봐야겠네요.

      엄지를 내린 그립, 엄지를 대각에 받친 그립을 말씀하시는 것 같은데.. 한코치는 아무렇게나 칩니다. 하지만 그립마다 셔틀콕을 보낼 수 있는 각도가 다릅니다. 주로 사용하는 그립이 있는 게 좋긴하지만 다른 스타일도 해보셔야합니다.
