TIP#1: Right handers should try the forehand side first whereas lefties should begin with the backhand side.

I have never seen such a beautiful shot it was amazing
Trick shots is all about fun and games and this serve is of course not legal as we hit the feathers and doesn't serve diagonal across the net. However, it is always fun to practice trick shots and in this case it helps understand and master the different impacts with the shuttle. Also, this shot is really challenging so if you like a challenge try this out.

@@user-pm3ux9fj8l I think you're right, the service rule forbids hitting the feathers, but does not apply for a shot in the middle of a rally. It will be more challenging if not impossible to obtain a similar curve though, because you no longer hit a stationary shuttle, touching the feathers. Thus, if you do this in the middle of a rally, the shuttle will fly more or less straight, without the effect observed in this video.

On serious note, I am sure there is a way pro players like TTY who hits shuttle and it curves back into the court. Did I make accurate observation or it’s more due to side drift or it’s an optical illusion from the camera angle?
This is a fun trick shot you can have fun with, not use in tournaments etc😉 and no it is not an optical illusion, it actually spins around the net💪🏻
Oh I know your spin shot isn’t. I was wondering about shots made by players like Tai Tzu Ying where her backhand clear seems to curve back into the court after seemingly going out. Do u think the shuttle is actually curving in or it’s an optical illusion?
There's actually a name for this, it's called the Sidek serve. Kevin Sukamuljo does a variation of this where he hits the cork (so it's legal) but the result is less spin than the Sidek serve.
I was so happy when i saw the thumbnail of the video because i thought that it's Kevin's serve, bjt unfortunately it wasn't! Can you do a video about that serve please!? Because you can even win points with that serve

What's the use of this trick
To impress your friends or playmates...
It also helps in improving the spin of the shuttle in certain shots
