Wow what awesome museum all of those trucks is a mind bobbin is a breath taking, this is a super awesome video in all the videos you have this is right at the top for me 👍 👍
Born in the forties, raised in the fifties in and around huge logging companies as incorporations had not really taken hold in my home area. Seen lots of that old equipment still on the road with so many mile, just unbelievable to how many had survived at this time. People didn't trade up, they fixed up and military had a lot of influence on what was on the road. I really didn't appreciate how lucky I was with even a steam locomotive had a loading spur and our river was used to tow large rafts of trees down to the larger milling towns. One special moment was a tree going down river on a special built raft because of its size, not taking a chance of it sinking. I do remember it took a team over two months to cut down, if my memory does serve me, I hope I ain't lying, the butt cut was over thirty feet across . A special drag saw was made to cut it down. For many years they held square dances on the stump and it was over fifty feet counting roots that protruded up and I was forced to dance with some pretty girl who never wanted anything to do with me either. Just too young. For many years I packed pictures of that stuff an finally tossed it but the upper skagit valley has movies that were preserved of it.
Cool
❤ mild weather, keep up the good work that y'all do, I love watching all your projects
Very nice collection of old trucks and a great variety. They look like you could take them out on the road today very nice.
I think I saw that Bandag Bandit in Anchorage AK back in 1980. Used as a burnout truck to prove that Thier retreads held up...
Thanks for the tour of the truck museum 😊
From a retired trucker. That was the ride back in the day.
Thanks for the tour of the Iowa 80 truck museum. Very cool place definitely worth adding to the list to go see.
Cool trip--doesn't hurt to take a little break and look at old iron--that is what made this country. Think if those old trucks could tell some stories...😉
Thanks for the tour . Great fun
Wish you had more time in the museum some of the really old trucks looked interesting if your in that area again and have more time like to see some more of it . Until the next video peaceout
Yes for sure
We were pressed for time and yes it deserves more time
Really liked seeing the museum, first truck I learned to drive 1951 Peterbilt, Cummins 220 with 4 and 4 twin shift. Outfitted as a wrecker for a logging company in Northern California Sierra Nevada mountains.
Thanks for the museum tour, some mighty fine trucks...
Thanks for road trip and museum visit. CLINT.
I think I could spend a whole day in that museum looking at those beautiful trucks.
For sure
Liked seeing Iowa 80 again, stopped there spring 1976. Was driving new KW Bicentennial long frame c/o. Looks that place has grown quite a bit since I was there. Glad you took the time to show it all for those that remember that trucking was more than just a job.
I see it's another extended cab Mack truck around. I know a man close by with one for sale. First time I've seen one.
They are cool
Great tour, wonderful content! Camper looks great! A very nice diversion from your usual stuff. Fun, thanks a lot! Stay well, stay safe!
I live 30 miles from I-80 truck stop been there a bunch of times, always see something new!
They also have fast food, and movie theater, restaurant, dentist 🦷, etc.
@clarencewiles963 Yep, chiropractor, showers, truck wash and service, truck accessories and chrome store, museum and more!
A really cool video.
Thanks greatly for the truck museum tour... really brings back memories as I saw about 2/3 of those vehicles on the road when I was a young man.... now I'm telling my age 😎
Thanks
👍🏻👍🏻Clint Thanks for sharing Awesome
Cool tour of the museum.
That Cabover Kenworth Aerodyne with all the chicken lights belonged to Hank Good (Hanks Highway Hilton) he was leased to Carretta Trucking Paramus, New Jersey back in the 1980s. I remember Hank's Kenworth back in the 1980s when I drove for Carretta Trucking. Carretta Trucking was a great company to drive for back in the day.
Great video, thank you

We have run down I - 65. 74, 80 90 at least twice a year since 1978 from US - 50 and I - 65 area. The truck stop sure has grown over those years. Thanks for the tour of the museum.
I've had friends who complained about having "blue balls", and I've even had them myself a time or two at least 40 years ago when I was younger. But I can't say that I've ever "seen" a pair of blue balls until today in your video. LMAO....
The museum tours awesome I've always wanted to do it but I live in Oregon so yeah that's not one trip I want to make right now I look forward to seeing the build on the on the crew cab that I haven't seen anything on the crew cab just seen the camper that you brought today but I seen I try to follow as many videos as I can means I'm laid up for another month with I had some foot surgery done so I'll be back to work soon thank God can't wait to go back two and a half months off of Works going to suck the 5th of this next month will be a whole month I've been off it feels like I've been off and Eternity

@@C_CEQUIPMENT Thanks for taking the time to put the Video out.
👍👍
That’s damn cool, the truck museum! Might have to put that on my bucket list?
Did you try out the food at the restaurant?
Do you have a video tour of the camper?
Are you a hammer down kind of driver?
It's very interesting place to most me I try an stay out of there but I only live 20 minutes away. You'll have to come back July 13-17-2022 they'll have alot of them display on the truck show
my first trip to pearl harbor all the work trucks were chain drive
If you like museums you should check out right Patterson Air Force museum in Ohio
You should have taken your kids with you. They would have enjoyed the museum
I will next time we are there
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, I'm pretty sure there's something in here we need.
Those campers are big, heavy and expennnnsive. How was the drive home with it, compared to the drive out?
I sure hope that 466 works out well, I'll be following the fun.
Yes you are correct
Was a little windy leaving Iowa then it was pretty good. After that drive back I think we will leave the truck in a 6x6 configuration for stability.
Stay tuned
@@C_CEQUIPMENT I really hoped that you should keep the 6x6 but I also wanted the bigger tires on it and that not an easy fix...
Hey what did happen tour your camper truck build
Back burner
If ya can’t afford lighting I’m sure a go fund me page might help.
