This is such an awesome and inspirational song. Epica did a really good job with this. It has touched my heart and I feel this song especially speaks to me. I believe it really had me thinking now and it changed my life. I must follow my common sense, because I cannot try to hide myself anymore behind my fantasy world that had me alone and miserable and took me on a dark path. If any of the band members of Epica can read this, thank you for writing this song and changing my life. It has given me a positive personal message and boosted one of my most important moral values. I was able to see Epica in February of 2020. 10th Anniversary Design Your Universe Tour. They performed this song live. Brought tears to my eyes. Sadly, it’ll probably be my last live concert in this new COVID19 world.
