I think this was recorded somewhere in the morning, I have the dvd and in the interview you can clearly see its still day. I don't think it was aired live on the radio but I do think it's not a playback, Simone is an outstanding singer, Ive seen Epica live several times.

@MakingTheMetalBand This was recorded live in the studio after the album release for a separate DVD which is listed in the video description. There are many occasions where you find out of sync musical parts with what's shown for that instrument and those are a result of the editing of the video, not the fact that this was all some lip-sync exercise.
