    tip: try beating the eggs and then just pour them over the rice. Let it cook from the heat of the rice and its much more moist

    • @Astroqualia
      @Astroqualia 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd wager to bet there is a solid reason as to why the thousands of hibatchi/teppanyaki shefs cook the egg seperate, as opposed to on top of the rice, in every single establishment in existence for teppanyaki.

    If you want to have your chicken go to another level of tender.....velvet it.
    For every 8oz chicken breast strips or pieces, toss with 3/4 tsp baking soda (bi-carb)
    Marinate for 20 minutes
    Rinse well under running water, pat with paper towel to remove excess water.....
    the extra step is SO worth it....

    Brother: another winner. I live with my stunning wife and two savage little girls and ALL of them are the pickiest eaters ever. I’ve made chicken fried rice in the skillet dozens of times, with frozen peas and carrots and double chicken and they’ve all eaten it like it’s their favorite meal. I wanted to try CFR on my new Blackstone and obviously I searched your channel to see if you had a recipe. Dude I was so nervous about the red and yellow peppers and the onions being in there mostly because of the kids and it’s windy as hell out here today and good god I can’t believe how much that affected the cook time so I wasn’t thrilled after plating it that it would be a hit.
    The kids SMOKED it, wife has had a bite or two and she’s got that twinkle in her eye, I haven’t even tasted it yet but I like where this is going. Thanks again, my friend. Love your channel, keep it coming.

    When you get that day-old rice, mix you up some eggs and soak that day-old rice in them eggs. Not long, just enough to get all that rice coated. Then hit them on the griddle with some oil. It separates it and makes it fluffy fluffy. Me and the Asian wife Love your content.

    Just so you know real Japanese don’t use jasmine or cook it day before worked at a Japanese steak house , they use same day cooked rice only couple hours from when cooked , Japanese short grain rice (calrose) remove starch from rice with rice stationer before cook , 1 cup rice 1and 1/2 cup water ratio then let rice rest 2-4 hrs , they use garlic butter and some use ginger butter , the rice seasoning is Gomasio.

    She got me gift certificates for Christmas and I’m like “Let me check this out before I make the commitment “. I’m a bit of an ass and need to make sure stuff meets my lifestyle and needs... watched your vids and others, and said “I’m all in!”. Looking forward to lots of good cooks with my family and friends.

    Thank you for the video. Can you explain something? It looks like you put some rice that wasn’t cooked on the grill first? Also other people do this too but I don’t know what the reason is. Why not just use all the white rice that has been cooked? It looks like everyone puts a little raw rice on the grill

    Looks great man! Love your videos! Any recipes or ideas to do Japanese teriyaki noodles? I've tried a couple times and they just don't come out right. I'd love to hear any suggestions or even a video!!

    For a single person what size of griddle would you suggest?

      The 17 in. Adventure grill is perfect for 1 or 2. Can easily take to friends house or camping.

    if you have a space in your freezer putting the rice in there for about 30 minutes depending how much you have that helps if you don't have time to put it in the fridge.
