I really like your QC videos. That said, you should maybe have found an actual blues player to do this experiment. Nothing about the riffs or effects is blues guitar oriented.
I do my best to demo the tones best I can, but you're right - I'm not a traditional blues guy. Maybe I should rename the video "best amps for low gain tones".
@@davlavmusic7070 something like that would make sense. OR find a good local player who's not as good at the TH-cam as you and have them sit in. Would be an interesting process. Maybe even try to replicate their rig? i love that kind of stuff.
Ok just saw this. I’d take say like the peavey blue or 5150 blue. Or Friedman crunch. Solo crunch. Roll down the gain and put a overdrive in front at either low gain or the trick of higher volume lower gain to push amp’s distortion. Give it a try. You can get it. Good luck.
If there was ever a channel that moved the "purchase" needle forward-Yours is the one. Thank you for your videos! Subscribed!!!!!!
Thanks! I'm super happy with mine and still exploring everything it can do. I do wish the updates came faster.
I think its recommended that the volume on the QC is set to 100, anything other than that it is attenuating and might affect the tone a bit.
I've seen that recently. Seems weird to me - I'm usually around 60. But I'll give it a try.
Try the Solo Crunch.
Plus try the John petrucci mesa clean amp, it's lovely
Yes, that was one of the clean amps I have in my "Best Amps for Clean Tones" video. It really is nice.
@davlavmusic7070 I'll give that a watch, loved the blues tones with the tape delay and lush plate, it really lifts the notes. Great video 👍

It can exist. You need to know how to set it up.
@@joseluisyanezferrada1423 not true my friend. There’s a way.
