  • In this video, we went through the steps on how we create a clean preset from scratch and how we use compressor and eq to get the tones we love. Next we added in the newest Vemural Ray and 2 of our neural capture from the Nordvang Gravity OD pedal. Lastly we added in a Tape delay as well.
    Hope you enjoy the video. God bless!

    Nicely done! Solid tone and the parametric EQ added a lot of additional control

    Really insightful thanks a lot! It's interesting how my Tyler guitars sound quite different to the sound you're getting, so it shows how many settings really depend from guitar to guitar on these kind of modelling presets. I'll get to tweak around a bit!

    hi love the video! is there anyway to play music from my macbook through the QC and out to my studio monitor while playing guitar?

      For that, just use an interface. Something like a 2i2 or so

    Hello! Great video! Thanks a lot! Excuse me, what would be the best routing chain to get the best QC sound and get the best output level in to the DAW, trough USB or with Line Outputs ? Thanks a lot!

    • @GuitarEmerge
      @GuitarEmerge  ปีที่แล้ว

      We basically use the USB out and into our mac for recording :)

    Hi,
    Very nice tones.
    Howewer as a mere remark I'm still dispointed by the noise level of the Quad Cortex even when using adaptive gate .
    I'm wondering how to cope with it.

    • @Utubewrk123
      @Utubewrk123 ปีที่แล้ว

      User error. Too much gain. It’s your set up. It has a great noise gate. It’s something in your chain. Don’t blame the product.

    Why did you put reverb on line 3?

    Do you think the QC is a good investment as a standalone pedalboard? Without access to analog pedals to neural capture? So mostly just from what the QC comes stock with? Thank you so much sounded so good! I tried it out for an hour wanting to buy it but could not get the overdrives to sound good so I though the drives just weren’t any good, but having heard you I think it might be worth buying?

    • @GuitarEmerge
      @GuitarEmerge  ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely a great standalone pedalboard. The cloud has plenty of great captures too!

    You sound really good and I like your style! I am considering buying one of these. I have the Pod Go for the last year. Have you ever used one?

    • @GuitarEmerge
      @GuitarEmerge  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! We have been using and still using Line 6 stuff like Helix, HX Stomp, HX Stomp XL. They are still excellent and produces great tones too!

      @@GuitarEmerge Great to hear from you! I get a bit overwhelmed with this stuff but you are an excellent teacher. I must admit I have not even learned how to build patches myself for the Pod Go. I cheat by using Worship Tutorials stuff! ;-)

    Why not a clean boost in place of the compressor out of curiosity?

    • @GuitarEmerge
      @GuitarEmerge  ปีที่แล้ว

      Compressor helps to balance the string volume and bring out the weaker notes better than a boost :)

    is patch shared on cortex cloud?
