I used to feel pity for what happened to William Birkin later on when he was assassinated, but now that I see what he did to his predecessor, Dr. Marcus, he had it coming. What goes around comes around, they all betrayed each other in the end, and while Wesker kinda comes out on top having betrayed every single person he'd ever known to stay ahead, at the end he also dies alone in a volcano. Ultimately they all die miserable deaths on their own.
Richard Waugh really had a perfect voice for Wesker, not to suggest that D.C. Douglas didn't do an amazing job in RE 5. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.
Oh, Albert, I feel bad that William was, like, your only friend - ever. Or, were you his only friend? Honestly, both of these guys, smart as they were, were not only morally bankrupt, but frankly, they were really flawed human beings. I mean, at least Birkin makes some sense as to why he was so hyper focused on the G-Virus, considering his deal with Simmons and the US Government, and his plan to get himself and his family pardoned for their crimes in exchange for providing the US Military with G-Virus samples, but even then, he must not have been careful enough, given Spencer found out and had him taken out by HUNK and his team the same way him and Albert had Marcus taken out. As for Wesker, himself, well - something cracked in his mind when he realized he wasn't crafted his own destiny, and that everything he had done, had been orchestrated by Spencer as part of Project-W, causing all his self-delusions of being this mega successful self-made man to completely fall apart, resulting in the murder of Spencer, and then the overcompensating, need to be a God Uroboros plan, as a cry-baby attempt to reclaim one's ego.
I wished they added more depth to Birkin's character. I wished Capcom emphasized Birkin wanted to defect to the US Government in exchange for his family's protection from Umbrella. Wesker opted to defect for his own self-interests. Birkin instead comes off as whiney when he yells "G Was My Creation!" before getting mowed down.
Spencer didn't order HUNK to assassinate Birkin. He wanted to take him in. So he would continue R+D on the G virus under Umbrella's supervision, but since he resisted capture they took him out.
Yeah that never made sense to me either, Wesker and Birkin were the ones who directly supervised/oversaw Dr.Marcus' assassination, yet The Queen Leech/Dr.Marcus' "Clone" never bothers to go after them, opting to focus on Rebecca and Billy instead
3:19 me when it stops raining
lmao

I think they’re very similar honestly. At least when listening to the original, and REmake VA’s compared to them.
I agree
Truer words were never spoken!
@@ShockerTopperYeah D.C. Douglas is very consistent with Richard Waugh from RE Zero, RE Code Veronica and RE4 and Peter Jessop from RE1 REmake
D.C.Yoshikage Kira Douglas!🖐lol!😆yeah cool as Albert Wesker! 😎

Well said 👏 lastly if I am correct, weren't they both raised with a superiority complex?

Nunca he visto una lamida de mofle a la perfección

0:05 satisfactory when he say : Understood
This was how I imagined Albert Wesker to always sound like. Being the OG and all.
5:30 I'll take over your research, hahahaha! 😂😂
4:15 pretty sus there
Lmao
I wonder where that surveillance room is. Dr. Marcus can talk to them, but he doesn't bother to kill them.
You find it in the game, it has some leeches laying around at some point when you return after a cutscene.

This has got to be the worst written dialogue since RE1 classic.
