And here you don't need a serious reason. Wesker is very arrogant and narcissistic, it's enough to put him in a slightly awkward position so that he destroys you and considers you a personal enemy
5:01 and 6:09 I love these scenes, Alexia was so strong making a fool out of Wesker, he had no chance against her despite showing off his power. I also love that Alexia was so confident in her virus that she shed her human skin to show how superior she was. There are 3 variations of 6:09 in the Dreamcast version Alexia smacks Wesker, he tries to attack her only for her to hit him again, he sees Chris hiding under the stairs, quietly leaves and that's the last time you see him. In the CV novel it's based on the Dreamcast version except before Wesker can attack Alexia, she surrounds him with her pyrokinesis (she has that along with other abilities that make her a boarderline lovecraftian god) threatening to burn him alive with a smile on her face. he doesn't see Chris but Wesker bolts it when he closes the door behind him. In the Pal version these scenes are slower due to CV running at 50 hertz but they have variations of "You want it" and "Murderous Eyes". 5:01 In the CV book Wesker gives a proposition to Alexia to join the organization only for her to reply with "I am the virus" and laughing in his face, He then drops the professional act demanding that she gives her a sample of T-Veronica only for her to transform in front of him.
It make sense for wesker to be stronger how is chris suppose to beat alexia then not finish wesker? I know he used the weapon alexia father made to finish her but still
7:00 that scene was a missed opportunity, for Wesker and Chris to fight along side each other. 😅😅 and Wesker really spent decades trying to kill Chris over a pile of flesh that failed I pretty sure he's own sister would laugh at him. At this point Sir, do really want to kill Chris after all this time 😒.
Shucks! Can't believe i tolerated wesker and chris' voice acting way back in summer 2003. Anyway, brings back memories. Honestly, i miss this Chris when he was this young, determined and handsome. Chris had those glow in his eyes that got lost in RE6.
Lol. I actually preferred Waugh over Douglas. Very disappointed when they changed his voice once again after 3 games with the same actor. (RE CV, RE 4, Umbrella Chronicles.)

I don't understand how Chris or Claire didn't die or at least get majorly injured from any of Wesker's attacks. It's like he was only using 1% of his power.
Alexia's blood bursts into flame when exposed to oxygen, which is caused by the T-Veronica Virus. The squelching sound is the blood, it just quickly turns into fire.

The original version had a better scene for Wesker return. Not only you had just started playing with Chris again but just after a few minutes of gameplay, the villain of RE1 reappeared and released some of the most iconic bioweapons of the first game as well: the hunters! All this chain of events were so awesome.... That's why in my opinion, the new scene with Wesker reappearing meeting Claire was a failure.... all his new scenes and line changes are a failure IMO. They try to make Wesker a typical dumb villain "oh, I've planned everything"... same shit villain we saw in RE5
